Beautiful photos emitting a serene environment. One of my friends is in Rio right now, his third trip, and I think a very, very wonderful one for him. He's done hang gliding and lots of other valid activities as well. Yesterday his private carioca guide took him to the largest favela in Rio. I was there twice but with a small group each time. Think his 1-1 adventure would make for a more interesting venture. I'm living vicariously through his fabulous photos which he's been posting on his Facebook page. ...was suppose to have been in Rio for almost two weeks but decided against it since I will be in parts of Europe beginning next month. My first stop will be Berlin {solo} for five days prior to my joining a tour group to venture onward east! This trip will end in my experiencing Barcelona. The trip has been arranged: air, apartment and independent travel in Berlin for 5 days before joining tour group for Warsaw, Crakow, Prague, Budapest for almost three weeks; then it's Barcelona for 5 days: booked apartment two days ago. I am now very, very, very excited. This time I just very hope that NOTHING prevents me from this twice delayed journey!!

Oz, thanks for this post. I think I went to this mall a few months after it had opened and was surprised by its initial ambience, its architecture and design, and all the offerings. It even has one or two or more supermarkets. I truly enjoyed going into this one and just browsing and noting how the merchandise/food stuffs, etc...were displayed!!!
