I, too, hope that Tom returns soon because he gave valuable information to all of us who've traveled to Brasil, and for me, salient data regarding our interests for parts of Europe and the US as well. I hope to be traveling to parts of Eastern Europe in September on a postponed trip; Tom gave me additional information for a contact in Prague, a guy who's written to me in the past, an escort I am eager to meet when I am there in September. In fact, not only did they contribute photographs of note and sagas of their experiences, but they gave restaurants to experience, areas of Rio and Porto Allegre, and I think, Sao Paulo and other places to venture. I've known TomCal for a while and had the good fortune of meeting him while in Rio de janeiro at that long-remembered FESTA which was held at The Atlantico Copacabana Hotel in 2003. From that time onward, he and I have kept in touch via emails as well as from this site. I truly would like for both him and Lurker to reconsider and return!!! Both have been missed tremendously! That was the initial reason why I thought it best to post this thread!

Over the days and weeks and months and years, the "so called quality" of the guys vary, so if you decide to travel to Rio, just go and see who's available and enjoy! I'll never forget when I was in Rio de janeiro in 2010, one night at the now defunct Estaco {sp} there were plenty of boys for one to meet, but when I went again two nights later, the place was sad and deadly dull. The same happened when I last went to Point 202 where I've not been in about three or four years. The hot nights change as frequently as the guys who decide to come to the saunas to earn some reais!

No, I have not stayed at this property which is written up well in PASSPORT, May 2013 issue. Their "no guests allowed" would bother me, but I think I might adapt and just meet company at some of the better motels in Rio.
