...had to cancel my trip which was suppose to have happened from the 11th of September until the 3rd of October. ...got to JFK International ready to fly business class to Berlin and was informed that the passport I'd given to the attendant at Swiss Air had expired. I was indeed baffled, dumbfounded, and extremely disappointed. I'd left my passport under my printer cover back in California. Without going through the hassles of getting a replacement which would have cost me "an arm and a leg or two," I cancelled the entire trip. Fortunately, I think I'll be able to recoup all of the money I'd paid for the tour, my first night stay in my Berlin hotel charged my AMEX card, and the international portion of my flight can be used up to May 2013. I wrote all of the above because I was to have been in Prague as well as Budapest and had made good contacts with some of the hottest guys in both areas who're at www.gayromeo.com. Well, next year here I come!

...very interesting accounting of the "Second New Meio Mundo. Hope it's "rockin'" in all areas when I manage to return. When that will be is unknown to date. Hope they'll like this man with grey!!

I was in Rio de janeiro and at Carnaval during 2003. Point 2002, Club 117 and the now defunct Roger's and Estacao had boys on certain nights. But as I recall, Roger's was virtually empty on a Thursday when my friend and I went; Point was newish and had a good supply; 117 was teeming with hotties on Sunday night, and Estacao flunctuated. Go and make the better of the situation! I did a lot of cultural activities, a gay ball, the Parade of Champions, banda at Ipanema on a Saturday, the saunas twice, a gay boat trip to the Green Isle which was fantastic and happened a day or two after Carnaval. I also saw two or three independent escorts back at my hotel.

...liked the preceding vintage photos but definitely loved this Tom of Finland. I'd love to have gotten with all of these men here, for I hope to be gang fucked or gang banged one of these days. That is indeed one of my fantasies that I hope to be fulfilled.....

I liked Curitiba. Took the bus ["the hop on hop off one] to see some of the important venues that are throughout the city. ...enjoyed the cleanliness and eco sense that prevails there. ...enjoyed the sauna merely as a spectator. When a friend and I went, I was ill because a hottie in Rio at Club 117 ["our Anderson"] had fucked my face so hard that he made me ill for a week. Since I did NOT want to make any of the sauna boys ill while in Curitiba, I did not go with any. They questioned my friend as to why I chose NOT to engage their services or seek their company. Too bad, too, because that night had few clients but about fifteen sauna guys. Enjoy yourself culturally and otherwise!!

I always love Bill Maher's shows, and last night ( 9.20.12) was one of his better ones all around. I bought a ticket to see him perform in my area next month. I can't wait!

The appears here right at the time that I received a FB message today from a friend who's inviting me to join him and two friends sometime in June or July of 2013. I should be returning from a European trip and do not know if I'll be able to do this, but today I began looking at fares on various sites which I'll post elsewhere later. - - -

As far as my knowledge about saunas go [...have had 8 trips to Brasil/Rio and elsewhere]--the sauna guys do not accept US. I think the guys would have difficulty exchanging it for Brasilian currency. Get some reais while at the airport, or find a location where you are staying to get this. Tell the young man to learn and study his history; therefore, [perhaps] he would not want to role play in this manner any more! I don't like these particular pair of Gucci shoes nor the ones which followed. They're not my "cup of tea". I like good designer shoes but not ones with too much flair. I would not necessarily classify those Gucci shoes as "being gay." They are just a little much with the colors and the letter "G" stamped and/or woven all over!
