Like I said in a previous post, visiting is quite different from living here. Every week, I look at my work and social schedule and I plan my customary 2-3 dates accordingly. I am thus able to plan in advance, and give the guys some notice. 
There is another peculiarity about the escort market in Prague: the boys rely mainly on visitors, because local clients are rare (the Czechs hire very, very little according to what my boys tell me). That is why they go to Zurich or Germany. In addition to my pleasant disposition, my bed talents , and my money (how could I forget that?   ), the fact that I am local is what makes me such a rare pearl to the boys. I like my regulars and, even if I throw new cards into the lot from time to time, I am very loyal to them. yes, there was a construction at the bar level ( back of the bar) that was primarily rooms walls, but nothing major or disruptive 
I had such a great time, I am leaving Barcelona with nostalgia, I met several guys that not only were super hot but treated me very nicely. It is a Greek/Albanian guy that is kind of the Alpha in Thermas, he kept me on a tie leash - we always went to my room to have the best time, he was very affectionate and wild; he passed me around with the boys that he trusted would be my type and would treat me well.
I kind of overdid it the last two days, and now I'm suffering the effects of having little sleep and a lot of sex (both harsh and tender). I'll miss the boy at Thermas, but I think I was lucky every day I attended. Between 5 pm and 8 pm on Saturday and Sunday, it was really busy. Many boys only work there on weekends. There are many Venezuelan boys, and I believe I have them all:  four hot Venezuelan men of various mixed races, all of whom were stunning. I didn't realize how beautiful one of them was until I took him out to dinner; in the restaurant's lighting, you can either expect disappointments or wonderful surprises; however, with him, I was astounded by how attractive he was. His type was more akin to a middle eastern supermodel. I made another attempt to see him, but he only visits Thermas on Saturdays, and was unable to schedule a private meeting at my hotel.
Something I noticed is that at least 6 guys from Thermas posted their ads on Hunqz all Sunday, most of them were guys from Saturday. then I didn't see their ads again.  I only have one private in my hotel from Hunqz, a Colombian young boy with a lot of stamina. 
I am leaving Bcn, happy and nostalgic for the great guys i met during this trip. Once back home i will post more details.

Once I had to register my GP as the second 'official guest' to let him in. So we did the paperwork as if he was my boyfriend staying with me etc. The next day when the GP was different, we tried to walk past them as if it was still my boyfriend and the girl at the desk stopped us. I said "I registered him as a guest yesterday" but she pulled out the copy of yesterday's boy's identity card and said "No, it is not the same person". Embarrassing moment, never to be repeated.

On the other hand, the South American Copacabana in Copanema were just asking to get a copy of the boy's id every time I walked in with a different boy. It was a bit awkward to implicitly admit I was fucking with a different boy every day but the staff stayed very professional.

Congrats Tomcal on your pending move East ! I travel to FLL quite frequently and I enjoy all the clubs . Even when BW sucks I enjoy Felipe and Andreas , 2 hot bartenders . I enjoy Johnsons  and have had luck with some of their dancers . As we always say “your mileage may vary !” 
 
I hope to meet up with you one day so we can have a drink and compare our taste in dancers!  For now I am hoping some of my favorite FLL hotel rates come down or I will have to find new accommodations!

i had very interactive dances with 2 of the guys, just saying i think a lot has to do with how you interact with yhem! i admit there is a good number of them that don’t do much which it is eise timo know some of the regular patrons for advice !

As far as the pros and cons I am well aware and know that every place has them, i grew up in Minnesota hot humid dinners and -20 degree winters!  but thanks for all the advise!  Calif.is no longer the place for me but...if the house falls through i may be here a lot longer.  btw for those mentioning insurance costs,,,, they have gotten very high in Ca too because of fires i have had 2 sweep through my area with the last 5 years and our rates went way up because i am consired in a fire zone!

I am Santo Dumont Airport right now waiting for my flight to São Paulo.
Last night i went to Pointe202 as it is their biggest night and it filled up but i had a sore shoulder so i was going to get massage, there were 3 working and as luck would have it i got the very muscular 24 yr old who is built like the proverbial “brick shithouse”.  he said the massage room was occupied for the next 30 minutes but if i didn’t want to wait we could go use one of the regular rooms! i said “let’s go”.  he was a very good masseuse with just a hint of that he might be willing to play around! ok so i already missed several consecutive days... but i have a good reason i hae been busy but mostly with non sauna guys!! most were working in saunas for anywhere from a weekend to several years (one of my namorado is a current Brasilian jujitsu competitor,  lasted 2 days working in the sauna and didn’t like it! I was his first customer his first day so not sure what that says about the!!

i think i have tried to give honest reviews over the past19 years...BUT...we all have different / views /expectations. i think a lot of people in general like “what was and what replaces it is not as good” but i look at it this way, it is better then the alternative which is no sauna! No one could have a sauna as big as the old lagoa was because from a business standpoint the rent would be astronomical!  
I go to there place that has the hottest guys regardless if it has a big stage, large bar area, big drag queen shows, individual bathrooms, etc. but i know everyone has different hot button/ issues, and you have to discern what’s the reviewer is saying in relation to what you like and make a decision where you want to go! Over the years i have had the 3 main saunas in Rio change in my positioning of them(in 2008 -10 and again from 2014 to 2016 i seldom visited pointe! this trip i was there every night except Tuesday when i went to 117.

I am going to skip over the last 2 days in Rio and jump to my arrival in São Paulo! i chechen into the hike i rent here and left for Lagoa! it was busy on all the floors it seemed! your first couple of times here i think most of us will need a GPS to navigate the various hallways/stairways to figure it out! al of the sudden i saw a stunning guy great body who looked like a italian movie star!  it turns out he was the real cousin(as opposed to all the guys who say they are primos)of a guy who i have known for 4 years and whose apartment i have stayed in on several weekends!! i immediately got a suite and all i can say he is amazing and has stayed with me overnight the last 3 nights!  this is one reason I love Brazil!

Clube 11
As mentionned elsewhere on the forum, the clube is a little difficult to find fir uber drivers since it is at 11 rua Jose Duarte but house next door is 86, rua Jose Duarte. Best might be to put as destination : 86 rua Jose Duarte (next door to Clube) or 87 as it is the building just in front of Clube 11.
We were pretty excited by the election of Mister Clube 11 which was to take place at 8.30 pm the same night. 

We arrived around 5.30 pm and there were around 12 boys. More joined later. I liked a muscular lad but when I discussed with him, I noticed his bad breath which is a no go for me. In addition he was only top and for whatever reason he smiled ironically when I asked if he would be bottom. 
I was interested by another guy but he was involved with another customer and obviously not reacting to any eye contact.
I walked around the clube and soon found a couple of boys. I was attracted to one of them and imagined that the second could interest the buddy I am travelling with. I took them both back to our table and we started chatting, cuddling and drinking. We learned that they were cousins and that mine, J. was also a singer performing in a band. As the day before, both boys tried to increase the agreed price when in the room. Mine did so not at all in an agressive way but more asking for a tip for good service which I gave him since ge did give me excellent service. In addition he concluded the session singing a capella a typical song from Salvador ! Nice voice, cute face, long eyelashes, great smile, eagerness to please : overall a good session. 
Back to the bar, we continued chatting. I asked J. if many foreigners were coming to the Clube 11. His answer amazed me : " today, there are 5 : you two, plus a guy from South Africa, a guy from Canada and a guy from ? (I do not remember which country he mentionned)". If we chzt about the boys, there is no doubt that the boys chat on us !
The Clube 11 facility is rather nice. Dry sauna has been renovated recently. Rooms are ok.

At 8.50 pm the show started. 11 boys were participating. None of them were boys working in the sauna. A red carpet had been installed in the bar so that they could walk along. At first, all 11 boys came fully dressed. Then they came one after the other only wearing underwear. Number 2 was stunning. Muscular torso and arms, wonderful smile, pretty face. All were good looking and sexy. All but two had tattoes, sometimes lots of them. One had even a chemical formula tattoed on his chest ! I wished the winner would start working immediately but they were only for the competition. Out of the 11, the jury selected 5, then 3. I do prefer Clube11 to Fox due to the overall quality of boys, more reasonnable prices (I think we were ripped off at Fox - a customer confirmed me that the two brothers who run Fox are only interested in raising prices ... ), better facility (more rooms, newer facilities), brand new thick towels with inscription of Clube 11, black and white posters of sexy naked rugby players (from Les Dieux du Stade).

First of all and before anyone says anything, let me point out that my anxiety is getting better. This time I am opening a thread "only" two months before starting the trip.
It is booked. I am flying American, the ticket was about U$S 800-900. I convinced two friends from Daddy's (one of them was my trip partner to CDMX last April) to join me. I thought, if  had so much fun by myself, imagine if we are a group. They are planning hiking excursions I am not going to join. I am planning days in the beach and orgies. We will meet in the saunas I am sure.
We rented a 4 BRs Airbnb about two blocks away from the place I rented in July, in Copacabana, close to Posto 5. It costed about U$S 100 each. The description for the place states that parties are allowed, so I am already having quite intense fantasies. 
If anyone is going to be around, it would be great to connect.

For the most part that is true! Guys are usually there with friends. I think all of us who are “veterans” of Brazil have picked up a guy or Three off the beach but definitely not for people who are new or not well acquainted with the Rio scene! i would highly recommend you stick to the sauna selections until you get to know some of the garotos well and they can advise you.  i gave this same advise to two guys from LA a few years ago, they were both in their 40’s, well built and gdlkg, and had travelled a lot, they of course didn’t listen to my advise and were staying at the Copacabana Palace. they went to the beach, picked up a couple of guys they spent the afternoon with at the beach and then invited them back to their hotel!  they awoke the the next morning with a headache from the “Boa Noite Cinderella” they had ingested and with everything of value stolen including clothes, shoes, etc. this in a hotel that has more stringent security then most! It makes no difference if you are gdlkg, well built, younger, they are not interested in you but only in what you have!   i have a apartment full of guys staying with me when i am in Rio or SP, BUT...I have 1)either known them for a long time or 2) they are referred by someone i trust 3)they are vouched for by one of my regulars! is this fool proof? nope nothing is but it certainly reduces your risk significantly! i have been doing this since i started using Airbnb’s around 2009 and have never had a problem(and that is a fairly large number of guys!)
