Anyone start watching this yet? It's awesome and Kevin Spacey deserves an Emmy. Beyond that it has a great gay/bisexual subplot.

Yeah. I think every marketing consultant in the world has gotten burned by using one wrong word in a contract at one point or another. I remember about a dozen years ago I agreed in the contract to do "reasonable revisions" - not realizing that "reasonable" could, in the client's mind (and their lawyer's mind) mean hundreds and hundreds of revisions.

Who can turn away business in this economy?

Fashion companies are desperatly looking for valid email addresses of gay consumers - to the point where they will pay roughly a buck per email address So, what some companies do is come up with anything that will get people to give them their email address. They aren't really trying to sell you any products, they just want to sell your email address for a buck a pop to 500 other clothing companies. This is how that shit happens.

There are reports coming out today that the city knew the power might blow out but didn't have any time/money to fix the problem and just hoped for the best.

It's always interesting how many ways things can be read.
