  1. The last time Corujinhas was on and popping was maybe 2011 or 2012. The trade would stroll on the outskirts of the park across from the restaurant and stroll on by the sidewalk. When I returned the following year or so, everything had completely changed. I went back a few more times hoping that maybe it was an anomaly, but like with Le Boy, it had become a thing of the past. All good things must come to an end.
  2. The first post = infamous journalist - pornographer who also famously married a Brazilian garoto de programa. The Twitterverse and Datalounge had loads of fun with this exposé a few years ago.
  3. If you believe in a thing called “karma”... Trilingual not only co-operated one gay travel Brazil board, but also posted at multiple boards under that same moniker. This is the same guy who in this thread (at the forums then known as M4M, but now CoM) strongly recommended that Americans on tourist visas to Brazil commit fraud and say that a Brazilian immigration officer asked for a bribe to extend their visas. An odious suggestion that apparently, a few other posters (some are still around and still visiting Brazil to this day!) thought was a grand idea and they attempted to go through with it. In the defense of some good posters who spoke up, there were a few who immediately recognized this as a pretty scummy and selfish thing to do. If you keep your eyes and ears open while traveling, it doesn’t take too long to figure out there are some really decent travelers but also some really shady, shifty and unethical ones. Decide which type you prefer to be, and then act accordingly. https://www.companyofmen.org/topic/27614-serious-immigration-danger/
  4. It’s not just Clube 11. All the saunas in Salvador — unlike the ones in Rio or São Paulo — tend to be more popular earlier and are pretty empty later. It’s not a pre- or post-pandemic effect. It’s Bahian cultural. It’s always been like that. Expect the saunas in Salvador to be dead by 9 pm. Sometimes, they are active as early as 4 pm.
  5. Salvador’s saunas are not hyperactive and crowded like the ones in Rio or São Paulo, the Bahian culture is different, so maintain reasonable expectations. They also tend to clear out earlier than the ones in Rio or SP. Sunday — (1) Fox (2) Clube 11 Monday — CLOSED Tuesday - Fox Wednesday — Clube 11 (Tie for best night) Thursday - Fox Friday — (1) Fox (best night) (2) Clube 11 Saturday — (1) Clube 11 (Tie for best night) (2) Fox
  6. The median age of the clients at the payboy saunas in Brazil is probably in the early to mid-60s. You most likely will fit right in. Let’s stop with this false narrative that men (gay, straight or otherwise) are always more attractive when they are younger. Have you even seen a lot of younger guys in the USA? Many may be still in their 20s or 30s, but they haven’t quite taken good care of their bodies or health, or are what the kids now like to say are “bad built”. In some cases, youth might be the ONLY thing they have going for them! OTOH, there are some men who age like fine wine. I’m not saying all, but some.
  7. He’s an older man who lives in the very same house where invited people can come. He has a landline phone that he almost never answers. There is no Wi-Fi in the home. Posting or sharing his almost never used landline phone number would almost certainly guarantee the beginning of the end of the service that he provides in his home. And anyone who suggests otherwise is willfully ignorant of the history of how things work in here and other discussion groups / social media. If you really want to go to Narciso's house, and you don’t already have a direct relationship with him, simply plan it with a procurer who already knows him and let them take you. It’s not that hard.
  8. Narciso’s house is in Haina, which is a small town right on the outskirts of Santo Domingo, west of it. The only way you’re getting there is by car. Narciso lives there so you need to make an appointment and he needs time to invite guys over — so you’re not just showing up. The best way to get there — especially for a new or infrequent visitor — is to have a procurer who knows him well like Manny set it up for you. He will also tell you what you need to bring — including how many pesos. Of course, you’re also paying for the procurer’s transportation to and from, too — so add that into the mix. I think there are only two guest bedrooms in the house, so if you are planning to go with a group, make it a very small group.
  9. …. and if you’re truly concerned about the employees at the saunas being underpaid, tip them (bartenders, bar backs, front desk attendants, locker room attendant, cleaning crew).
  10. 117 in Rio did not offer suite rental for 50 minutes. 117 has used “40 minutes for suites” at least for the past 15 years. In 117, if you return the room key to the front desk at the 50-minute mark, then you wind up paying for two 40-minute suite rentals. Lagoa in São Paulo offers a 50-minute rental on its suites.
  11. That was last week, which was still 2024. As mentioned above (and also as displayed above in a photo), the price increases at 117 began January 2, 2025.
  12. As of January 2, 2025, the new, increased entrance fees and suite fees for Club 117 in Rio are now (in BRL): Entrance fees: 96 BRL — if paying with credit or debit card. 88 BRL — if paying in (Brazilian) cash. Suite fees: 77 BRL — for 40 minutes. [Editor’s note: Before any tourists complain about this slight increase, the prices for almost everything in Brazil are increasing, and the exchange rate for the USD, the EUR and the CAN are currently at insanely favorable rates for foreigners (currently above 6:1 for the USD).]
  13. I’ll be waiting with bated breath for you to disprove any “misinformation” posted here.
  14. Hereby disproving the old adage, “there’s no such thing as a stupid question.”
  15. April was almost a whole 8 months ago. How many times total have you visited Rio? Just 6 or 7? Do you know anyone who lives there who regularly attends and can keep you more abreast? Since April, they did start a free cabin night promotion at 202 on Mondays. I am unsure if it is ongoing and thus, reliable.
  16. Not very long before your “few years” of visiting, Monday was the busiest night at 202, followed by Wednesday, then Friday. They were all, I coincidentally, free cabin nights. Then, someone in management then had the bright idea to stop having free cabin nights on the busiest night, Monday, and only offering free cabin nights on Wednesday. Sometime thereafter, crowds on Mondays decreased sharply, almost disappearing on Fridays, and Wednesday became its only busy night. Recently, free cabins on Mondays have been reinstated and crowds have returned somewhat, but not to that of its glory days. Wednesday remains the busiest night as of now.
  17. It’s on Saturday, December 7 and his Birthday Party always has a big crowd, with garotos who might not ordinarily show up as well as lots of local and tourist clients.
  18. Monday is now comparably much slower than Wednesday at 202. It’s been that way for over a year now. But it’s still better than the alternative, which is nothing — because 117 is closed on Mondays, and Meio Mundo in Centro which does get a slight crowd, has the D lister garotos.
  19. That’s not exactly true. That’s a little bit of revisionist history there. Junior started out as a garoto and was the boyfriend / partner of one of the owners of the clubs in discussion. Junior started managing / co-managing afterwards, and after that, gained the majority ownership interest in the club. He is also not the sole owner, although he is the face. There’s a silent investor who now has (some) ownership interest. Junior has definitely turned Point 202 into the miniature gay discotheque payboy sauna of his fever dreams — for better or for worse.
  20. To answer your question about the reason for the differences in the types of garotos who frequent the two main saunas in Rio, 117 and 202: it’s a combination of club management and club reputation. 117 has been for years and is still currently known as the sauna most likely to have garotos that are more muscular (“mais forte”), while 202 over the last decade, due to its Junior takeover, has become more of the sauna for twinkier, slimmer garotos (“magrinhos”, “novinhos”). Although these descriptions aren’t mutually exclusive, and you can find exceptions at both places, the clients who regularly attend either of these places are generally attracted to the types described that regularly go to those saunas. Regarding the “mulatto” description, since almost every Brazilian is mixed with something, it’s hard to understand what you were getting at. I think the percentages of brown, black, white or indigenous looking garotos is about the same at both saunas. The observedly marked differences between the garotos at the two clubs seem to be more in body builds (skewing skinnier at 202 than at 117) and in ages (skewing younger at 202 than at 117). 10 or so years ago at 202, under different management, 202 had a different crowd of garotos, and was more known for more muscular guys. Not the case at all now.
  21. You two would be a good match.
  22. His name is Narciso. His house (not really a ranch) is on a quiet street on the outskirts of Santo Domingo, about 5-7 minutes outside of Haina.
  23. I almost didn’t respond to help, because the photo in your post is not flattering and hard to take seriously, to say the least. Francisco has been working for years around Paco’s as a general helper, which means he (like many of the chronically underemployed in the DR) just makes his money doing small favors and chore for tips and compensation. Just go to Paco’s and discreetly ask the workers there for him. He most likely will be working somewhere nearby, especially if it’s during the daytime. But don’t get your hopes up about him successfully pulling off something as elaborate as a prison visit for you — especially if you’re going solo. That poster in the original post several years ago seemed to have gone to the prison with a large group. A prison visit by one person where sex with inmates is the expectation would be virtually impossible if not very dangerous to pull off — and Francisco is certainly in now economic standing to ensure anyone’s safety or protection.
