Those are the only opening nights I think Visited twice years ago on 2 separate trips - pretty empty. Only one of the two nights has one okay-ish GP. Were there many GPs when you visited recently?

I will be in Brazil end of March till mid April 2026. Most days will be in SP and Rio. It has been a couple of years since I visited BH, so I'll sneak in a long weekend there. Now I am wondering if anyone has been to Brasilia, Curitiba or Porto Alegre recently. Last visit to either was years ago. Is it still worth a visit, or is it hit or miss? I still miss the old Sauna 520 in Curitiba. Used to house very good-looking GPs. Is Sauna Opiniao better nowadays? I also have fond memories of Soho and W3 in Brasilia. Never been to the new Sauna Lux in Porto Alegre. Is Mezanninu now closed?

@Latbear4blk There are quite a few saunas in Recife. According to the locals I talked to, all saunas in Recife are mixed. I have only been to three: Termas Boa Vista (TBV), Recife SPA Sauna (SPA), and Blue Termas. Personally, I would rank them in that order. Not sure you'll like Blue Termas, I did have fun the one time I visited but it was with another patron. But this was based on a visit, also I didn't stay long. Having said that, since it is so near, why not check it out at least 1 time? Fox is less crowded, but I find the GPs there more to my taste. I also like the live music at the bar (in front) area. I was there for two nights during my very brief Salvador visit last June: Friday and Sunday. Friday is definitely busier than Sunday, which is almost dead. I'm not sure about Saturday. I was in Clube 11 on Saturday. However, this was based on my short two-time visit during winter. I still think it's worth a visit at least.

Both 24 Hours (renamed Yes) and Kratos are open. I usually go to 24 Hours, as it is, well, 24 Hours. It is particularly busy during the weekends. However, now that Olimpo has opened late at weekends, I sometimes go there instead. It has a different crowd. Kratos is a bit run down, but it is easier to hook up there (similar to Yes).

With a CPF, you have several ways to get PIX as a foreigner. - Recargapay (you can apply for its credit card too, physical and/or virtual). You can link it to your foreign credit/debit card or top it up with Remitly. - Banco Rendimento (CDE). A monthly account fee might apply. I applied during a promotion, so it is free. - 99 pay. Unfortunately, with only CPF, there is a limit of R1000 per month (no limit if used towards ride, I think)

I have been using PIX to pay for GPs and other stuff for more than a year now. I haven't withdrawn cash from the ATM nor used cash since then. Brazilian Wise and Remitly do have PIX, but as far as I know, it is a 'bank/account' transfer (to PIX). Most of the time is quick but sometime it might take a while. PIX from bank/fintech's app is 'instant'.
