Back on topic: I have a couple questions (as I've never been, but planning on going) Are these places actually sauna/bathhouses in the more North Americans/European sense (steam rooms, dark rooms, mazes, whatever)? It seems they are mostly bars with a show and small cabins for rent. Also, I'm a massage addict - how are the massages in the saunas? I like 80% a good massage and 20% extra, but if was 100% amazing massage I'm good with that too. One of the best (non-sexual) massages I ever got was a very built ex-ballarino (male ballet dancer). It was a very relaxing massage and he whispered sweet nothings in my ear. It was such a mind-fuck I tipped him 120%.

I had NO idea what this term was also. I was using the football meaning of kicking the ball to the other team to control your team's position on the field an trying to apply this to the topic at hand. And yes, this is a horrible term.

It is a deep swab yes. We call it 'The Brain Tickler', it is uncomfortable but not painful. As I noted above why are you hesitant to just wait a little longer for vaccines to roll out? They plan to approve the first vaccine in Brazil on January 15th. Get a cheap fare now for a trip in April or May. I'm going in July for Carnival (rescheduled from February).

The vaccine is rolling out, Rio is mostly shut down. It's smart to wait. Why take the risk over the difference of a couple months.

I mean I kinda see what they are attempting to do, but that looks awful. Not just from they failure to prevent spread, but just being boxed in behind metal barricades. That being said I miss people and can't wait to pry myself through crowds to get an over priced weak drink from disinterested shirtless bartender!

I'm more a kick-the-tires sorta guy. I don't like surprises. That being said I do love to window shop the sites!

If ya can't tell they are doing a good job. My thought was real actor that was CGI enhanced during dialog.
