I heard there is a ton of "ghost properties" due to overbuilding since Covid and that prices have been dropping.     Believe what you will, but if it was a simple "compliance issue" Grindr would have resolved it years ago to access the market in China. I agree - will spend my vacation money where I and my friends are welcome.

    Are you saying the CNN is wrong: the apps mentioned in the article are still available and gay pride events have not been cancelled? I am glad you had good experiences, but that does not mean it is universal.

    Yes, I have been to Shanghai and Beijing. My experience was sub-par, I have little motivation to return.

    Why would you think that? I had no problem finding willing companions on my trips to Africa, even less traveled locations and smaller cities.
