Say what?

I went out too last Saturday. Some nice boys around in Jomtien and not many farangs. Winner I visited two weeks ago, but I couldn't stand it in there. Too hot for my liking. I told Paul when I left.

The sprikeling of water is not what i am seeing here in Pattaya. Whole buckets of water straight to the face while riding a motorbike. Dangerous stuff. Ohhh, almost over and back to low season. Lovely!

I arrived yesterday and they needed to get a captain to help me, but they got it done in 10 minutes.

I'm looking to rent an condo for a year. I have contacted Alan Bolton and East Coast. Does anyone have recommendations for other brokers in the Pattaya/Jomtien Area?

Did I say something funny?

If that picture is what you're judging Club Industry by, you're making a mistake. They have a very high-tech lighting system, very much comparable with clubs in western countries. The vibe of the place is as an industry, factory or warehouse club should be. Absolutely 10 out of 10. Where they fumble the ball is with their sound system, which is loud and distorted.

I don't think age is relevant because a lot of guys are into older. If you are on grinder you have to be very clear that you are not looking for a protitute.

Must be one of the biggest myths that Thai people do not raise their voices. "Losing face" is also not exclusive to Thailand or South East Asia, either. In the Middle East there is a lot going on in the name of honor and in the western countries people don't like to be punked or disrespected, so be careful how you talk to them etc. Add some Latin pride to that and you might have a worldwide phenomenon. I do agree that arguing doesn't make these situations any better.

I decided to get a Tourist visa, but was half regretting it afterward. My passport is good to next year, and I am requesting a new one tomorrow. This will probably render my online visa useless because it has been linked to my current passport. Maybe immigration will accept my new passport if I can show/bring my old passport and give me the visa on arrival. But the point is that it really doesn't matter that much because I arrive in 2.5 weeks. The difference is 15 days, and that makes it very acceptable in my case. So yeah, I hope they keep the scheme alive.

I planned to let a boy from Cuba visit me somewhere last year. I had arranged an invitation letter with the responsible government department here in Germany. They gave me an invitation letter from them to send to Cuba. The problem was that there has not been a single free slot at the embassy between June (when I saw last free dates but couldn't book because the invitation was not ready yet) and December, when I last checked. In hindsight, It might have been for the best.

If only the boy could walk down with you to pick up the other 🙂

Why are you waiting a week for Moses? Unless there is something that only he can do, I would contact my hosting support. If it was something that I couldn't handle myself, I would have a reputal person that know about these things handle it for me. there are many websites where you can hire a trustworthy (good references) IT guy. But again, I am talking without knowing your specifiek situation.

viejos I was surprised about this in Asia, but Colombia has this on steroids. Linking this to the "Old" topic, on Grindr, you will see many who are looking for maduros and those who don't like viejos.

There are a few variations of this Quote but I like this one: Every man desires to live long, but no man wishes to be old It might not be offensive ore meant as an insult, I'd rather be referred to as mature. I never suspected bad intend from OP, especially after Maup's post.

5226 is pretty bad. You should get at least 10% more. I am often paying with my American Express. Works perfectly and I get a 6% to 7% better rate than changing cash. I've never used an ATM, so can't comment on that. I honestly cannot even remember seeing an ATM here in Medellín. If you have a few hundred thousand in cash for the first day you should be good, but I would not exchange large sums of money.

He might wanna think about offering airport pickups, if he is not already doing so. I was looking for someone to pick-up my friend from the airport and decided to go with Booking.com. Myself, I had the airport porter bring me to a taxi in front of the entrance but it still was a scary ride I must say. It all felt dodgy.

I think you might have more success if you start referring to us as mature men 😎

Thanks for sharing. A paragraph here and there would make it an easier read, but beggars can't be choosers. 🥳

Well, I would have tried that option, but I found a (for this period with inflated flight prices) great round trip ticket which could very well match pre-covid prices. EVA Air €750 direct flight AMS-BKK including hand luggage and 2 checked bags 23 kg each. Even if I have to change my return flight, it will still be cheaper than buying one way tickets. I booked directly with EVA and the at checkout, they showed in big red letters that there was a €100 fuel fee. It seemed like a good idea to get the visa done too. The process for the e-visa is not that straight forward. I can imagine that people who are not as familiar with computers might be struggling with it. I'm very curious how they are going to handle it and in which time-frame.

I've been traveling to Thailand for 20 years now and I have NEVER seen a prostitute. What is the difference between a prostitute and an illegal prostitute in Thailand?
-
I saw someone write about that same issue with Cathay Pacific on Aseannow.com https://aseannow.com/topic/1282508-evisa-for-tourist-visa-another-bunch-of-questions/ I've yet to find anywhere that says it can't be a bus or train ticket.
-
That makes no sense. But yeah, it is Thailand so it doesn't have to make sense I guess. But the link that I proposed is a bus ticket that you can buy online that states that you travel from Bangkok to Siem Reap. I don't see why they will not accept it at check-in. Embassy might be a different story, indeed. I'll google it Turkish Air used to have a good solution. I got a visa with a Turkish Air reservation once. But that is a long time ago.

I just gave you one you can share if you LIKE.

I was thinking about this: https://www.checkmybus.com/search#departureDate=2023-04-27&origin=Bangkok%2C%20Thailand%2413.719408%2C100.585245%24undefined%24undefined%24false%24false&destination=Siem%20Reap%2C%20Cambodia%2413.362222%2C103.859722%24d2b38b1b-fcf9-46d7-8594-0aa9c43375de%2400000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000%24true%24false&sortValue=Relevance&sortOrder=ascending&radius=15&adults=1 Would that be accepted? 26 USD for a bus ticket I am never going to use. It takes the uncertainty away. Christian's suggestion might also be a good idea: https://onwardticket.com/ I tried to play around with the website a little, and it comes to 14 USD. Not sure how it works. But as you can see, they ask for travel booking confirmation. From that perspective the bus-ticket in hand might be best.
