    4 a.m.

That is one of the advantages of Thailand and any other country in the vicinity. It is always 5 to 6 hours earlier back home. Even when I go out till 5 am, it would still be around midnight back home. Never a jet lag. Traveling to South America is a different story. 😴
  2. What is wrong with Klook? I bought fast lane access. I'm arriving at 12PM, and that seems like a busy time. I prefer wasting 30 some bucks over standing in line for an hour. BTW, I don't believe that they were able to get people through within an hour from the back of the line.
  3. This could become an interesting thread if all new arrivals would share their airport experience. The waiting time for immigration discussed in the video looks dreadful: If it is like this, I'd be happy to pay for the VIP service. https://www.klook.com/en-US/activity/11690-suvarnabhumi-airport-immigration-fast-track-service-bangkok/?spm=SearchResult.SearchResult_LIST&clickId=59dcdb7aa3 Please share your experience!
  4. Do you mean the type of boy or the goings-on?
  5. I stayed there exactly a year ago, and I had a daily order of Pad krapow. God, it looks good in that picture. The hotel is great value for money.
  6. My travel mate found a club in Lima last weekend. That is to say, a boy told him about it. It seems to be around for a while, but I have not seen it in my search results. Very strange. It is called Babylon, and it seems to be open 7 days a week. It looked like a real mix in there. From trannies to muscle boys to twinkies. 🥳
  7. I don't see any problem with instructing certain customers (based on ethnicity) if there are many that don't know the rules. But that is as far as you can go, I think. Having said that, there are many bars Pattaya where Thais are not welcome. For example, Windmill.
  8. did you mean this park: Parque Simon Bolivar Itagüí
  9. There is a big Indian entertainment industry in Pattaya. I've seen some videos featuring clubs such as Nashaa.
  10. Unlike the Ukrainians, the Russians have no chance in countries where they can get government support. In Turkey, Serbia and of course Thailand they are on their own. I read on Wikipedia that around 900,000 of them fled so far this year. It is hard to imagine that they all have bank accounts that would support them for longer periods. I would not be surprised that there is an influx of boys for pay in most of the countries where Russians have fled to.
  11. I can also be bought...just buy me a drink for eternal dips 😂
  12. Ill be there from the last week of November. Stay away from my Twinkies 😇
  13. 3 USD doesn't sound like much, but it is, especially for a host bar in Thailand. I guess the fewer customers, the higher the prices. Paul from Winner got it right a few years ago. He charged 100 THB per drink, and that would already been cheap 10 years ago. But yes, I'll be on holiday and will not worry about a dollar more or less. I can see that the expats don't like it.
  14. Racist towards which race/ethnicity, or to foreigners in general? It is difficult to find information that is current. Just like you, many talk about Peru before covid. I do think that Miraflores a good candidate is for an apartment.
  15. I'm searching for a city where I can spend 4 to 6 months. Current options are Pattaya, Medellín and Mexico City. Instead of extending my holiday in Pattaya next month, I might go to Lima for a few weeks to see if it might be a destination for longer term stay. How does Lima compare with the above-mentioned destinations? I would want to book an apartment that doesn't have joiner restrictions. It should also be at walking distance from restaurants and the gay area, if something like that exists. Any information or stories are welcome. I'm going to start doing some research via Google today, but I do trust you guys the most. 🙏
  16. Has this not been always the case? I always used my card at Kasikorn, but that is not to say it wasn't possible without.
  17. I was hoping to read the actual prices in the thread but they are not mentioned. I'm ready to be shocked 🙂
  18. Geez, if only we knew who started this thread 😗 😂
  19. My Credit card company just refunded me, with the stipulation that they could charge me again in the future. Still no answer from Lufthansa. 🤮
  20. I don't think so. I'll have a look next month.
  21. check-mig was a drama. If I remember correctly, if you tried to complete it on the website, you couldn't choose a date. It would always chose the present day. That forced you to the app, with all the above named issues 🤪
  22. Does gay nightlife only mean GoGobars to you? I have lots of places that I frequent which are not "expensive." Bangkok: DJ Station and the rest of the bars in the Soi. God Balcony, Circus etc. Pattaya: Tamnan kon E-san, not 100% gay but a very good percentage. Dave Man Club (not sure if it is still there) Jomtien Complex There are many other places that I visit that are inexpensive. However, because I like Twinks, even GoGo bar visits are reasonably inexpensive for me.
  23. I just checked my phone and I called them 13 times in two days. Customer Service is a mess! In the end, I decided to take the refund. I triple checked I would get the whole booking back. But of course, SIR... And you get the confirmation in ten minutes. After 30 minutes, still no confirmation. Call again, and asked to wait an hour. Two hours later, still no confirmation, so I call again. This time something had to change, and I asked them to send it to another email address. You can see the result. And here is my refund: Yeah, this really happened. Are they crazy? And of course, customer service is useless. I disputed the creditcard charge and I have sent Lufthanse a letter drafted by the ECC https://www.eccnederland.nl/ I am going to hit them with everything I've got, but what good is it? All this stress because they are incompotent.
  24. Wow, Where is that place? I cannot find it on Google. The guys seems to have a number, are they offable?
  25. I lived in Vietnam a good part of my life; love the country, the people, the food and the culture. I can give you a long list of what I consider to be flaws in Vietnamese boys, but being violent is not one of them.
