  1. As for supporting sports players, I would have thought God would have more pressing concerns to deal with. Controlling his latest creation - the corona virus- would be a good start!
  2. I know I'm biased, but Japan is the only place where I feel totally safe no matter where I am or what time it is.
  3. I looked in the mirror.

I never ask. What's important to me is what he will do in bed. As I prefer straight-acting masculine guys I guess most of my offs have not been gay. Some may have been bi. If I were after a long - term partner, he would have to be gay. And versatile in bed.
  5. The box jellyfish can kill within 2 minutes as its venom causes the heart to stop. Vinegar is no longer used to treat stings as research has shown it makes things worse - it increases the absorbency of the venom into the skin by up to 60 times! The only effective treatment is an anti-venom but by the time you make it to hospital you are well and truly dead. I certainly wouldn't go swimming in the warm waters of the tropics, as the box jellyfish is just one of many deadly animals lurking in the water, especially in Australia.

You are spot on, vessey! Although I tend to stick with 2 regular guys -1 in Pattaya and 1 in Bangkok - we all know they are actually working - tham gan. I sometimes mention this to them so that we are all on the same page. They are lovely guys and very friendly and we have lots of fun times outside of bed as well as in, but they are not my friends in the real sense. They have their own friends and don't need me.
  7. Anyone game enough to appear in public with a bejewelled top like that must surely be gay. No "discussion" needed!
  8. In the lead-up to the games, and in the first few days of competition, I was very sceptical as to whether or not the games could outrun Covid. But somehow Japan managed to keep the virus at bay inside the Olympic bubble even as it was threatening to run rampant outside. Well done, Japan! So sorry I doubted you. I really should have known better.
  9. As I posted on another site, "The Escape Bar is named after those potential customers who fled the premises after seeing the prices." Some of the prices quoted were so ridiculous that I got the impressing the guys did not want to be taken, preferring to earn their money through tips and participating in the naked shows. Apart from the bar star, and one guy I took, I never saw any of the regular guys taken, nor did I see anyone going into the back room for a private session with what was probably a limp dick.
  10. Not particularly healthy. The make-up contained zinc and lead and caused all kinds of health problems for the geisha. To me, milky white caucasian skin does not look healthy at all- it looks decidedly sickly. I much prefer a skin with a bit of colour.
  11. It probably won't. It will ravage through the population of old people so quickly that it will not have time to mutate.
  12. I also spent an inordinate amount of time planning trips to various places - Slovakia, Holland, Japan and, of course, Thailand but had to cancel each one as the virus quickly took hold all over the world. It was extremely frustrating. I have since given up all hope of travelling overseas until 2023 and so don't worry about it any more. And I can tell you, I feel a lot better for having let go! Reality sucks!

Guys I know in Pattaya pay on average around 3500 per month - of course, less if they are sharing.
  14. I agree. They were fantastic. However, the other parts were disappointing, as I expected Japan to use the ceremony to highlight its technology. But it's the Japanese way to take a sombre approach to things in times of crisis so I guess I'm not really all that surprised. Friends there tell me that although most people didn't want the games to go ahead, everyone is now watching. And isn't Yuto Horigame gorgeous! So "kawaii". Sponsors in Japan will be lining up to throw money at him and his face will be everywhere. One medal and his whole life has changed forever.
  15. That is common procedure for all commercial airliners. It's called the D check and is carried out every 6 ~10 years, depending on the aircraft type.
  16. Then there's the case of the Air France demonstration flight at an air show where the plane took off and crashed into the forest at the end of the runway.
  17. The bars in Thailand all have CCTV, so if they really wanted to I guess the authorities could see what some of us get up to.
  18. Unfortunately, those gates will slam shut as soon as another variant emerges. I think it's a case of a dog chasing its tail.
  19. This comment does not only apply to Thailand. You could be talking about Australia here, too!
  20. But also a good source of protein!
  21. At the moment hotels would be desperate for clients so they would allow just about anything just to get some business. They'd probably even turn a blind eye if you decided to have sex at the breakfast table! A fat sausage and a couple of eggs, anyone?
  22. The Montien Hotel near the old Soi Twilight in Bangkok didn't allow joiners at all, if memory serves me correctly. In CM I stayed at the Lotus opposite Adams Apple and there wasn't any problem as it was a "gay" hotel. The Meridien Hotel is close to the gay bars inside the night market area so it's very convenient but it's a little bit more expensive than most so you would need to check with them to see if they allow joiners. Obviously some hotels don't want customers bringing prostitutes onto the premises.
  23. I don't think us Aussies will be able to travel to Thailand for at least 18 months to 2 years. I've given up on the idea of a trip bring possible in the near future so sadly bar openings and alcohol prices remain irrelevant. Travel to other destinations such as Singapore may be possible, but Thailand? Forget it!
  24. Unfortunately, whenever I visited (not all that often) that was my experience, too.
