  1. Great reports, and photos @Latbear4blk . Thank you!
  2. Mexico for 2 weeks. Jersey Shore (USA) for 10 days. Rio de Janeiro for 10 days. None were better than the other.
  3. Ok. Send this beauty my way!
  4. I don't know why guys do that, because eventually we'll see who / what they really are. Maybe they find enough guys to have sex with them when they do that, anyway. BTW: I appreciate you adding the photos to your reports; they add context to what you write.
  5. Thank you!
  6. I doubt it. The clientele is stereotypical, IMO. The market price ... is what it is. We know that the rates are at the R150-200 level at 117 and 202. Asking prices might be R300 and quickly drop to R200, and oftentimes less, depending on sauna, day of week, time of day, activity at the sauna and how many GP are competing for attention.
  7. I think the vast majority of GPs will be working the saunas, not participating in Pride events other than what the sauna itself puts on.
  8. Thank you for the report, comments and particularly the photos! [not just the dick pics]
  9. Paragraphs, please.
  10. Thank you for the reports!
  11. Welcome to the forums!
  12. King.mp4
  13. Great report, love the photos!
  14. I don't think it's inappropriate to post the video to this forum, but I respect the decision of the Moderator to respond differently. The identity of the man alleged to be the perpetrator is not revealed. Let the report be a reminder that engaging in sex with underaged boys or girls is punishable - abroad and at home.
  15. Thanks for the excellent report, and photos!
  16. DAY 9 IN RIO – THE END I am still dealing with the cold or whatever and trouble sleeping. It being a Sunday I headed to Feira da Glória, wandered about, ventured over to Lapa then in the other direction through Glória, Catete and to Flamengo, and back to the apartment at Glória. At the apartment I packed for the trip home, slept a little and waited for 10:30 p.m. to summon an Uber for the ride to the airport. The airport was relatively quiet, no wait in line at the COPA ticket counter to check-in, moved to security and Immigration control, the long walk to the departure gate and the airplane left on time at 1:30 a.m. First flight segment of return home stopped at Panama City. Seemingly the entire passenger load was sneezing, coughing, etc. for 7+ hours. It was awful. I had a mask on, not knowing what good it was doing. Connection time in Panama City was about 3.5 hours. Tighter bag and document check and sequester pre-flight to Tampa. Flight left on time and arrived in Tampa 20 minutes early. Hardly a cough on the flight to Tampa. Remarkable difference. Aircraft was reasonably comfortable, but narrow seats. Legroom was sufficient. A friend met me at the airport and drove me home. Overall, it was a good trip. Not the trip I had planned, but it is essential to travel with back-up plans and I made the best of the situation. Not much more I could have done. No regrets. Thank you for reading the reports!
  17. I put in a rough date and that worked for my application.
  18. We'd have to be deaf, dumb and blind not to have noticed that President Donald J. Trump has been actively campaigning for a Nobel Peace Prize. It just dawned on me why the hard push on Israel and Hamas to announce a deal during the coming week. In remarks today he said such a deal would be the most significant peace accord in the region in the past 3,000 years. Not a word about the ongoing genocide or starvation of non-combatant Gaza residents. The President isn't known for exaggerating, is he? Well, I just read a notice saying the Nobel Committee is scheduled to announce the 2025 Peace Price honoree - October 10th. Ok, a real deal, the type that has eluded the President all year (with any issue he's dealt with) will be spectacular. But will the Nobel Committee take into consideration or overlook the President turning the US military on our own citizens and residents? I certainly hope so, and that would, hopefully, be a disqualifying factor.
  19. DAY 8 IN RIO Several observations from the travel and walk: Rio residents have been cordial, accommodating and respectful throughout my stay – especially so due to my inability to communicate in Portuguese. Each time I ride the Metro someone is standing up or motioning to me to sit in their seat. Maybe I am really looking my age or just worn out from all of the walking! It is everywhere, the cordiality, welcoming attitudes. Maybe I am naïve, but people working in businesses seem to take pride in their work, and they are working hard for what they earn. Beaches are clean. Very clean. Thank you in large part to the men and women who collect cans and plastic for recycling. Police presence has not seemed overbearing but they are out there: military police, municipal police, state police. Where I am seeing them is not deep into the city districts, but more or less in neighborhoods bordering the waterfront areas from Leblon to Centro. Today many officers from different jurisdictions were present on foot and in vehicles as I walked from Leblon through Copacabana beachfront, and inland the several blocks where I was walking. Outside a hotel next to my apartment building a Military Police car/officer has been parked there for the past week (obviously, knowing I am in town!). Having slept reasonably well, but I was up and down several times overnight. I relaxed in the apartment until Noon, going out for lunch once again at Rio Restaurant in Catete where I ate earlier in the week. After lunch I walked the short distance to the Catete Metro Station, boarded a train, and got off the train at the Jardim de Alah Metro Station in Leblon. From the station I walked a short distance to Praia do Leblon. I had forgotten how nicer this beach is, in comparison to those at Copacabana and Ipanema. From Leblon I walked the sidewalk through Praia do Ipanema, turned the corner and from Praia do Ipanema to Praia do Copacabana and all the way to the beach opposite Copacabana Palace Hotel, across Av. Atlantica to Cardeal Arcoverde Metro Station, on to the Gloria Metro Station and walked to my apartment. Whew! I do not know what the distance is in miles, but it was l-o-n-g! Stopping frequently as I walked, I observed most of the sidewalk restaurants were full, the beaches were crowded and the prices seemed reasonable. The crowds diminished markedly mid-way between Postos 9 and 8 in Ipanema and as the Copacabana beaches widened the crowds obviously seemed smaller than those closer to the transition from Ipanema. There is another marathon tomorrow, sponsored by or in recognition of the United Arab Republic. Go figure. There must be a strong trade relationship between the two countries. I did not return at night to visit, but part of the parkway between traffic lanes was being set for what I remember is a night market of some sort. Once, I rented an apartment overlooking Copacabana Beach and this particular market. Resting in the apartment for a few hours before walking outside again, I walked for a half hour, returned and am in for the night. No visit to the saunas because I am still not feeling 100%. Tomorrow is my last day. My flight leaves after Midnight Monday. Smartly, I have rented the apartment until mid-day Monday and will not have to sit around somewhere with luggage waiting to go to the airport. Likely, I will take an Uber to the airport. … to be continued. Praia do Leblon - Table Soccer Praia do Leblon - Cars for Sale Praia do Copacabana Praia do Copacabana - Sample of Prices at Beach
  20. Thank you for sharing your perspective. I always think about personal risk assessment and how I will react if I am confronted - because I have previously found myself in those situations when traveling. Usually, when we fall victim it is to a crime of opportunity. A wrong place at a wrong time. I have had it happen to me in Chicago; Mexico City (multiple times) and I came close to it happening to me in Rio during my first trip maybe 20 years ago. We should do our best to remain informed and aware. I do a fair amount of pre-trip research in local news sources, social media, etc. I walked extensively today along the beach avenues. Along the length of Copacabana there are military police and local police throughout both on foot, standing still and in vehicles - in groups of three. It is the weekend and a lot of people are out. Another marathon along the waterfront tomorrow, too (in honor of the UAE?). Travel behaviors are going to be individual decisions. For me, I am not going to travel mostly or only to ride in taxi's / uber at my destination; that is not me. If the overall risk is too great, I will not visit a destination. I am in Rio for more than the sex opportunities. I enjoy the city and its residents, and to enjoy it I have to see and feel it as close as practical. I respect the decisions of others that differ from my own. Wish us all well!
  21. That risk taken as a courier for the equivalent of 460 British Pounds.
  22. Sorry to learn of your victimization. Have you returned to Rio since? What then is your suggestion for persons intending to visit Rio, or many other popular destinations where visitors (and locals) have been victimized?
  23. I omitted photos I'd intended to include in my Day 7 report. Here they are:
