Jakarta was my first stop, 5 nights, arriving from Tokyo on ANA business class after a 9 hour layover there. Arrived in Surabaya in the afternoon, about 30 minutes late, which seems to be standard for Batik Air. I flew business class, which is not exactly glamorous, but for these short domestic flights in Indonesia I still think it is worth it. I was not even planning to come back to Surabaya. It is another big, ugly city, maybe even less visually appealing than Jakarta, with an even more religious feel, and it is Indonesia’s second largest city, so it is not exactly some hidden gem. I just came back from a short trip to Bali and thought I'd share my experience. Just a head's up - this will be less of a sex trip report (I was with a regular paid guy) and more of a general overall report 😅.
 
Arrival
I arrived to a not-so-crowded airport (compared to a previous trip). For first timers, a couple of forms you can fill online even before your departure to Bali:

Weather
The weather was good during the time I was there. It was sunny all day, so perfect for outdoor activities.
In places like Ubud, there is a nice chill to the breeze but in the beach areas (Seminyak, Legian etc.) the weather was way too hot for my liking in the afternoons.
 
Apps
