Updating my old February for June's Pride week.. So far, it has been a blast! Now resting in bed, trying to muster the energy to head out and enjoy the spring-like weather, but I’m totally wiped out. Last night, I visited Phyton, which, by the way, was closed on Tuesday (not sure if that was a one-time thing). When I went yesterday, it was surprisingly quiet. By 4:30 PM, there were only two of us, though a few more GP started trickling in as the evening went on. I’m not sure if it was because of Bingo night, but the GPs crowd was younger than usual. A couple of really hot ones, a few regulars, and some others who were just... okay. I had one great program with this hot young gp, though. Python is a little off for me, though—it's kind of chilly inside, and the layout doesn't work in its favor. Then I decided to head over to Lagoa. OH. BOY Lagoa was packed—like, wall-to-wall packed. It was almost hard to move around. There were all kinds of GPs, for all tastes. It felt like a candy shop. There were so many options that I didn’t know where to start. There was something for every taste—new GPs, at least for me, regulars, one massive guy with tons of muscles, and some simpler options, too. Then, of course, it was Bingo time, which doubled the crowd—both clients and GPs. There was also a guy celebrating what seemed like his anniversary, and he looked like someone who was well-known, so that probably helped boost the energy. Oh, and there were some GPs that I recognized from Garotolandia/Garotolocal—sites that, by the way, I am giving a try, but still no luck. Overall, it was a fantastic night. I wish I had a better memory to recall the names of the boys I was with or how everything went, but I’m really terrible at that kind of thing. And honestly, what worked for me might not be what works for you. But all my Wednesdays at Lagoa have been the best nights; going tonight, to both, I wish Python was closer to Lagoa, but I will check them out. Daytime in Republica... During the day, I decided to check out Republica. It was interesting, to say the least! Almost every porn movie theater I passed had a rainbow flag flying, even the worst and dirtiest ones. I mean, even they had signs welcoming Pride Week visitors. Oh boy, I really hope visitours check the reviews before walking into one of those places. My advice? Bring masks and gloves—heck, maybe even a full Hazmat suit. 😂 Then, maybe it was just me being clueless, but I finally realized that Republica, with all its sketchiness, actually has a pretty big gay area. The neighborhood around Dedalos Bar is packed with gay-friendly spots, and since some of these places are trying to capitalize on Pride, there were a bunch of new ones I hadn’t seen before. I’ve seen a lot in my time, but even I wouldn’t have dared to step inside some of these places. Some were... well, for the filthiest sex, both figuratively and literally. But it was only noon, and I wasn’t planning on visiting them after dark when Lagoa and Phyton were more than enough for me. Still, it was amazing to see so many gay flags flying around Aurora and Arocha Street. Next to the Arocha cinema is a little café/bar that isn't technically listed as a gay venue, but everyone there was definitely gay. There were a lot of trans girls too, especially around the entrances of the sketchier cinemas. I just kept walking, trying not to stand out too much as the only gringo in sight. It was certainly an adventure. I’ll check it out again over the weekend to see if it's any different once the sun goes down. Until next time, please don’t mind my spelling or clarity. I found all the information I needed about this year's São Paulo Pride on this gay Brazilian YouTuber's channel. He has also made vlogs about cruising and gay life in different countries. Despite being Brazilian, he doesn’t mention or even suggest any information about GP not a big deal. I'll check the GPs myself,. Here’s the link: By the way, I’ll be in São Paulo next week. Yes, I remember. I always use Uber to get around, so I don’t wander off. In any of those places at night or day. In that one I’m with you, there’s nothing for me to do on the premises. As I did, when I went to Upgrade and Dedalos, which, by the way, is in a pretty sketchy area. I won’t ever stop being amazed at how Brazil has so many sex clubs and how comfortable they are with sex. I was watching some videos of previous events, and it is incredible how they enjoy the sex and nudity with no problems. Almost all the places having a party during Pride have live sex shows in front of everyone. So it will be an interesting experience to say the least.

Absolutely, it makes total sense to be cautious about hanging out with GPs or trying to hook up with straight guys outside a sauna after midnight. There are a few things to keep in mind. Those places for cruising are for gay men, and while they may not be outright dangerous, they can sometimes—often—be rude and unpleasant. I’m not too worried about safety, at least not in the physical sense. My bigger concern is that I might get too tired or even decide to leave because I’m exhausted. I’ve been to most of the gay cruising spots in São Paulo and Rio, and honestly, the experience was far less traumatic than anything I’ve encountered in the United States or other countries. *cough* Boy Bar in Barcelona—absolutely dreadful. So, if I can make it through Chill Hotel, which is like a Babel tower filled with sex and techno music, I’m sure I can handle anything else. I’m not sure if you’ve had the chance to visit, but I can tell you it’s not really a hotel in the traditional sense. I think they call it a hotel because it’s similar to our saunas here in the U.S., where you can rent a room with a bed. Other than that, it’s pretty wild, with sex everywhere and lots of jacuzzis. I’ll report back. Anyway, the São Paulo Pride parade on Avenida Paulista looks huge—it’s even bigger than the one here in NYC, and that one’s during the day! I’ll definitely be more careful there. Hello. I'm ready fo SP Pride and hope to bring him to my room! It's going to be a packed event, especially for the big club. I usually stay away from these big Pride parties, but I'm making an exception for Brazil this time. I'll give it a try and keep my expectations low. I found a party called "Fck Party - Pride Edition" on Saturday the 21st that was supposed to be more about sex than dancing. Tickets started at just 100 reais, which is great! There were cheaper options, but unfortunately, they're sold out. I'm getting the VIP ticket, which gives me immediate entry to the party without waiting in line, and some type of bus that I will see . I'm waiting to bring one of my GPs with me so I have support. I think I know one or two of them who have been to parties for the past two years, and they are cool. The VIP ticket is only R$200, which is really reasonable! I'm not in a position to wait in line. There's supposed to be a bus that will take you around. Honestly, it's a bit intimidating for someone my age. I'm shy, and I'm not in the best shape to walk. I will definitely be cautious when getting on it and when getting drinks. Glad you got it. @Canadianbtmguy maybe today was the day 🙃 Guess what? I just got my Brazil visa today! I was a bit stressed because my credit card payment sent the code to one of my work phones. I have no clue why, but I figured it out. I updated my credit card profile to receive the codes in my personal phone. I took the picture with my iPhone because it was digital, which made it easier. But I double-checked that it looked how they want me to, with a white background. I cropped the picture twice, but here’s something no one has mentioned: the Brazilian site actually crops the picture for you. You just have to scroll up and down until it looks good. I added the dates that I was planning for June 16. And just put my income I didn’t have to submit anything. So I’m all set to travel! I submitted my application on Friday, the 23rd, and I just received the email confirmation. I’m so excited! I’ll print out plenty of copies, just in case. So, I’m getting ready for SP Pride! It’s a bit of a last-minute decision, as most Pride events aren’t really my thing or for my type . But hey, it can be have more GP plus the eye candy The $ still in good shape, so I’ve canceled my Montreal trip and instead heading to SP. Can’t wait

Thanks for the info! I submitted mine on Thursday, and things are looking good so far. The site didn’t ask for proof of travel or income, but I did enter the flights departure and exit for my next trip to the Pride week.

I’m hoping there will be more GPs to meet the demand of 1.5 million gays. 🤣 My only downside is the visa. Hi everyone, I’m trying to satisfy my nostalgic longing for Brazil, but unfortunately, I won’t be able to travel until after July. So, I’m considering visiting Montreal instead. I’ve already booked my flights: September entry in São Paulo and departure from Rio one week in each city. However, I’m still exploring the possibility of venturing into another Brazilian city with tourist facilities. So, I agree with all the previous posters about SP: the best GPs rarely hang out in the bar. Since climbing or using the stairs is quite a hassle for me, I usually sit at the small table in front of the clothing store, which is number 11 table That way, I can see who arrives from their changing room. or sit at the 3rd or 4th floor, but I take it easy between the 2nd and 3rd floor. However, my experience has shown me that those who hang out too much on either floor are not the ones I’m looking for. My type? If it walks, is in their mid-20s, has a handsome face, and is I ly top, but is also a good kisser and cuddler, I’m all for it. Then, the second preference l is their body and how hung they are. And yes, I’ve noticed that SP has more city, pretty muscular boys, while Rio has more mulatto guys, and I love them equally Most of my regulars in Lagoa are either blonde, muscular guys with pretty faces. They’re regular sizes, but they have great kissers. Nothing like kissing such pretty faces. Also, those guys prepared me for the big boys. I didn’t visit 555, but I went to Phyton twice when it was recently opened. It was quite new at the time, so there weren’t many GPs, and unfortunately, none of them impressed me. The service was extremely slow, so I reached out to one of my regulars from Lagoa, and we met there instead. We had a fantastic time without the pressure of missing out on any good GPs. On Friday night, I returned to Phyton, and it was much better. There was also an additional area downstairs with dancers, where I met this beautiful blond 19-year-old guy who was very affectionate. We spent the entire night holding hands in a BFE. I bought us a bottle of champagne, and we went to the room twice before returning to the bar where I parade my trophy bf. He was, nice but cocky with most of the locals (both GPs and clients) he had what it takes to be that good Overall, it was a fantastic experience that totally hit the mark! As they say, it takes one to make your day or night. I had already shared my Phyton experience in previous posts. So, I left SP and headed to Rio on Sunday. Since Lagoa is very slow on Sundays, I didn’t visit any sex clubs in SP. Unfortunately, I didn’t find any of the non-GP patrons attractive, and my taste has been spoiled with hot guys from the saunas in Rio and SP. Now, I’m looking into some options to visit another city with GP.

To be honest, it’s relative. What may be hot for me might not be for you, and vice versa. In my opinion, a 5 to 7pm seems like a reasonable time to go. However, I will say that you should go as far as you feel comfortable and take it from there. For instance, today, there were a lot of guys, but I didn’t see any hotter ones that I hadn’t seen before.

No, I was wondering to use it for the programas with garotos since some of them have mentioned that they take PIX. For the saunas I always paid with CC. I have never paid the tab with cash since cash can be hard to get if you run out of it. In 117 and in 202 there is one of those ATMs that works with every major debit card. And there are at least one Bradesco within walking distance. The only one that is a pain if you run out of cash is Lagoa, there is mo atm near.
