Actually, much of the Khmer Rouge leadership was ethnically Chinese, rather than Khmer/Cambodian. Pol Pot himself, Khieu Samphan, Nuon Cha, Son Sen etc. ...all Chinese. It is hardly surprising that this lot took their cue from Mao and China and received such strong backing from their ethnic cohort in China. It is hardly surprising that they had such hatred and contempt for 2,000 years of Khmer culture. After all, it wasn't their culture and the Khmer weren't really their people.
What was that saying that emanated from the Chinese Khmer Rouge leadership? "To keep you is no benefit, to destroy you is no loss.." Such was their contempt for the keepers of Khmer culture.
Also to be added to that list of Khmer Rouge Chinamen with Cambodian blood on their hands is the current dictator, the Khmer Rouge defector, Hun Sen. No surprise that he has turned Cambodia into a Chinese colony, a haven for Chinese scammers and, once again, the native Khmer/Cambodians are being suppressed.

People who are that old and suffering from mobility impairment should just stay home and have a wank, rather than fly around the world looking to get fucked and wanked at a discount That kind of behavior is quite distasteful.

Today I decided to try something a little different. My partner went to the sauna, which I didn’t realize used to beElegantz. Ii went to D’ Paradise SPA Seminyak. It is a little off the main road and the road leading to it seems a little sketch, but it opens up into a somewhat nicer little area. Very small place with a few massage beds and a few guys working.70 minutes. Start on stomach. Teasing. The guy placed his crotch in my hand. And all the typical gay stuff right off the bat. But when I turned over, I had a very very long edging session that seemed more like a lingnam massage might be like which I’ve never had before. It was great. The practitioner wasn’t particularly good looking but oh my God he had so many techniques to use on me. That was fun and worth it. This was my last erotic massage in Bali. The next morning I got up early and had a 4 massage at.Jari Menari before going to the airport for my flight on China Airlines back home

The classic pattern of retirement is the early Go Go years when people are healthiest. Then the Go Slow years as age starts to creep up on them, slowing them down. Then the No Go years when their mobility is compromised to the point of allowing very limited activity.
Jomtien, as a gay retirement area, would have plenty of people working through the stages of retirement.

    Day 18 , last full
Breakfast at Zing is very good value, for 200 baht we have selection of Asian and western offerings, fruits ,yoghurt, eggs made to the order, soup and dim sum style buns and other goodies . Tea is Dilmah, not some cheap stuff from dollar store.
I checked out at 10.30 and at 11 am bus started rolling toward Swampy. In reverse of yesterday situation, rain started as soon as  we pulled from the bay. What a luck again.
It looks that rain was sticking to the sea as  highway was mostly dry and in 1 hr 50 minutes we were back in civilisation. Since I had room already checking in was not my concern but what I noticed , cleaning lady was too smart.
Upon seeing nobody slept last night she did not replenish tea and water even if yesterday I left her double tip. Not that I missed either but rules are rules, whether I used bottle or not , there was always two new bottles  placed. So cruelly I decided not to leave tip tomorrow morning ( in hotels I tip maids daily , as it goes ) .
At 2.30 meeting with reader at Foodland, we spent good 2 hours talking.
BT from Goodboys  is messaging me daily with his ‘I miss you, when I can see you  “ messages  so I sent him message  from Foodland  that I will be in my room from 5 pm the latest but that was not read until after 6 and he did not show up until 8.
I like him and when he is here he is not a time waster but I could  use more of his company , specially after all that ‘ I miss you “ waxing. After about 1 hr he went to work ,  but not before requesting “ I want to sleep with you tonight “ , unfortunately I had other plans for my last night.
Waiting for BT I asked BOI  from Jupiter about LT tonight , he agreed immediately and commented “ why I must be always on your last night?”   ( always means in Aug he was my last guy indeed )  but , always diplomat I responded “ crown is always placed  last “ . He liked it a lot, not that I exaggerated. Our 1st meeting few trips ago was  so, so but after that each subsequent is better and better – I’m not giving that easy on guys I kind of like.
I told him I will pick him up from the bar after show  and went there at 10.30  entering exactly when walkabout started. Similarly like 2 days ago I tipped 3 guys (not the same three ) and two returned smile during next walk.
After show BOI suggested we go to 7/11 to buy something to eat likely sensing that at end of trip I may be low on cash , I had about 1000 still left    but 7/11 it was and stuff we bought was quite tasty.
Not sure it’s good idea to have such a hunk on my last night as before long trip I could use some sleep but damage  was done. I had only a hope that sleepless nigh means better sleep on the flight and was happy to learn I was not wrong.
We really hit it on, I think he appreciated repeat business and I cherished his personality , patience and first and foremost  massive body , as close to what I like as possible.
I mentioned crown and it was indeed proper crowning of very rewarding trip.

A side note to my post about the new house...we were having lunch at a restaurant in the older area of town, a place called White Rose (would not recommend or personally return), and seated at the table next to us were two female travelers and their Cambodian tour guide. The two ladies were from France, but their table conversation was in English. I assume the tour guide had good English skills, but no knowledge of French. In any event, the two ladies were asking many questions. Since they were sitting just beside us, it was easy to hear the conversation. The guide was explaining about the border conflict with Thailand and commented that before the conflict many people would travel from Cambodia to Thailand looking for work. The ladies asked if that was lucrative for the Cambodians and the guide laughed, and then responded that most of the time it was not the best decision. He went on to explain that most of the people who went to Thailand to work were not good stewards or managers of their money. Consequently, they would often return home with empty pockets having spent on their hard earned money on frivolous things instead of saving or sending it home for family. That was interesting to me, since Cam has obviously been very good about saving his earnings from both construction jobs, food service jobs, and the job at Hotmale...sending it home for his mother to safeguard or purchasing the gold. In that regard, I would say he must be the exception rather than the norm, and has definitely stayed focused on the end goal...building the new house. Gotta give the boy credit!!!

So it seems we will be going back to Cam’s parents to have a family get-together before we head to Siem Reap.  I am not exactly sure if this will only be overnight, or for a few days.  Since they are not good about planning in general, nor do they seem to share information with me…it will just be another go with the flow moment.
Speaking of his parents, I thought it was time to provide an update on the new house.  Yesterday afternoon, Cam had a rather lengthy conversation (over an hour) with his brother and father.  They were discussing some pretty specific details about the project.  After he had finished the call, I decided to insert myself into the discussion by asking some specific questions.  For example, I was curious if they planned to put pipes in the concrete slab for electrical and indoor plumbing. Affirmative.  Will the house be elevated like the current house (on stilts)?  The slab will be about a foot higher than ground level…that is all.  Will they do concrete posts, brick walls like the fence, and then do concrete stucco over the brick or build frames and pour concrete walls?  Same as the fence…concrete footers and posts, brick walls, then stucco over the brick.  Stucco will be tinted some color, but he hasn’t decided on color yet.  Tiles on roof…again unsure of color.  Do they plan to install any type of air conditioning.  Planning for it in the bedroom if possible, but will depend upon the cost at that time and the availability of funds.  They will just open windows and use fans in main living area.  Probably not of interest to most of you, but I get curious about the plans, and also have questions since my father was a stone mason and helped to build houses.  I would be his helper some summers, so picked up some general knowledge about building.  I asked if they have a concrete mixer truck deliver for the slab and he said ‘no’, they do it all mixing by hand from bags with sand and gravel.  It is cheaper that way.  Mixer truck is too expensive.  Even though the actual start date is December 8, they are doing some preliminary work in preparation.  During Cam’s absence, the family has been dismantling the old chicken coop and cleaning up the surrounding area.  Cam has ordered a load of dirt to be delivered and the family will work on distributing and leveling the dirt creating a pad or landing spot for the temporary housing.  They won’t actually begin to disassemble and reassemble the current house in the temporary location until that magic date of December 8.
I know many here have expressed concerns about the cost of building the house and where the money is coming from…namely…am I the foreign donor or ATM?!?  lol.  I have asked Cam before about the financial picture.  While he has never avoided my questions, his answers have always been general and not very detailed.  I was pretty pointed this time in my questions.  He and his brother have estimated the total cost, with family providing all of the labor, to be $15,000 USD.  Cam previously told me that he had saved $7000 USD and his mother was safeguarding that money.  That always made me a little nervous, since I had never met his family and only knew what little information he shared.  Not all family members are trustworthy.  In this case, mother was a safe choice and I have seen the bank account.  They do, in fact have $7000 USD.  Cam has also been buying and saving gold during his time working in Thailand and Cambodia.  Gold is usually a good, safe investment, so I thought this was very smart on his part.  He has accumulated enough gold over the last couple of years that if sold on today’s market would net him approximately $8000 USD.  He said his cost to buy the gold was probably around $6500 over time, so that would be a nice profit he made of $1500.  Not bad by my estimation.  He said he watches the gold market every single day and will sell off the gold when he can get the best possible price or maximum return on his investment.  Smart guy.  That gives him the estimated amount he and his brother think will be needed to purchase the materials needed to build the new house.  I am sure that incidental things may come up they hadn’t considered or planned for, so I still may be asked for some assistance in the future, but he seems to have this all figured out without any contribution from me at the present time.  They are actually very determined to do this on their own as a family.

    Day 16
Quick packing ,  tuk tuk to bus stop in front of train station ( 4000 ) , bus arrived quite soon (1500) and in 50 minutes I was in the new , shiny . Enough time for some breakfast ( USD are gone but credit card worked) and check -in.
They are introducing  automatic gates but for now available to certain nationalities only . I did not quality but there was no line to traditional immigration. No trace in passport that I was in Cambodia this time, no stamps and visa was just on piece of paper.
Flight  departed on time at 11 am and was not full  so my assigned aisle seat easily become window one, not that it made much of difference due to poor visibility but place where Chao Praya joins the sea looked impressive from above.
This time I used automatic gates, no issues , through in 1 minute. New SIM as previous one expired and soon I was on my way to Raya where again I got the same room I had  before. Nice to be home I thought on my way to Foodland to treat myself with chicken with cashews and French onion soup (200 total).
I did some walking  and around 7 pm I returned to Foodland for a meetup with our former contributor Reader who arrived in Bangkok few days ago. We had plenty to talk about and conversation was occasionally interrupted by sightings of bar boys going to work.
After  we split I returned to the hotel to catch up with computer stuff and at 10 pm I marched ( floridarob , did you hear that ?)    to my currently most favorite venue Jupiter. I was first customer tonight , warmly welcomed by Pooppy , the singer so promptly rewarded him with red not for good start. Soon bar started filling up.
My Boy Of Interest came to  welcome me  so I offered him a drink. He diplomatically did not press me for an off tonight but surely I found a message to this effect on my phone later on.
I tipped three guys during walkabout , just for good looks . two of them returned smile during next walk , one did not and that was one I like look of the most out of those 3 rewarded. After show  I went to Goodboys as I had some designs on BT . Unfortunately fortunately he was sitting with some couple, did not even notice me  until later but  another guy spotted me and came to ask for drink.
He  was absent for some time owing to sad family circumstances ( his sister died  I learned later from mamasan). Instead of drink I gave him 500 tip. He wanted me to off him and even mamasan intervened saying he did not have an off since retuning week ago.
I sensed desperation when tip he quoted for Long Time was well, well below norm so I came to my senses and  approved an idea. I told him he will get  my normal tip, I would feel bad if I took advantage of such situation.
I have soft spot for him as when he was in Jupiter few years ago he was first ever Jupiter boy who actually smiled at me on his own will . in a small sense , historical person. Of course as soon as we sealed the deal BT came and said he will go with client now but will be back in 30 minutes because ‘ I know him “ he said . Too late.
We went to Foodland where he ordered water and cheapest Thai dish they have on the menu and there home where I must say  I was greatly rewarded by his affection.
Almost real boyfriend experience, shocking considering age difference  but it was great encounter. What I’m saying ?  GREAT ENCOUNTER I should shout. It was easy to keep my tip promise.

A Trip to Alexandria with a Nice Guide. I was heading back to Cairo to spend another 5 days before returning to Brazil. I hadn’t been to Alexandria yet, so I booked a day tour. The guide arrived at my hotel right on time, and we set off with a driver—it was a private tour. The guide couldn’t have been any friendlier. He spoke Spanish, was slim, young (23 years old), and very charming—he had a great mustache and beard; he was just adorable. On the way there, he explained everything perfectly and we chatted about all sorts of things. We spent about 5 hours there, had lunch, and then headed back to Cairo. That evening, I invited him to join us out. He said he was still working but would meet us later at a Greek bar near my hotel in the city center. It’s a cool spot, frequented by locals—I noticed quite a few gay men there with other guys. He arrived around midnight. He doesn’t drink alcohol, smoke, or use drugs. We sat there talking until late. I went to the restroom, and suddenly, who do I see standing next to me at the urinal? It was him—the adorable guy. When I caught a glimpse of his cock, I saw it was beautiful and large. I got incredibly excited and wanted to do something right then and there. He mentioned having a girlfriend and certainly came across as completely heterosexual, but I noticed his cock starting to get hard, and he just smiled. Just then, some other guys walked into the restroom, so we left. Back at the table, I brought up what had happened in the restroom. He explained that he enjoys being with men because it’s very difficult to have sex with women there, whereas it’s much easier with men. We left the bar and went up to the rooftop of my hotel; it was dark and empty. We started kissing, and his cock was already rock-hard. I went down on him and began sucking that cock—it had the delicious, natural scent of a young man. He couldn’t hold back and came in my mouth—that warm, milky cum. It was wonderful. Afterward, we went downstairs to talk, and he mentioned that men enjoy sex and that things are tough for them over there. I helped him out with 50 dollars. He was absolutely thrilled, since tour guides earn very little. If you’re heading to Cairo and need assistance—whether it’s with hotels, Airbnbs, transfers, finding great places to stay, or hiring a guide—he’s definitely worth reaching out to. He can help you with everything, and perhaps a little something extra, too. Send me a private message, and I’ll pass along his contact info.
