Recommendations for Manila please
I found a decent fare with Gulf Air from Athens- 2300 euros in business return. It seems a sensible way to travel to SE Asia so I’m burning some Avios on BA froM London tomorrow for a six or seven week holiday. I also booked a coupon nights in a decent 5 * hotel in Bahrain - Gulf something or other hotel. I’d welcome recommendations on hotels in Manila. I stayed there 20 years ago at the Peninsula but prefer to keep budget more modest - last visit was $400 usd a night for a large but shabby suite. My only memory is of the dozens of boys in lobby looking for hookups Shangrila? Dusit? A decent pool for swimming. Maybe cruisy hotel spa and a bar where I can sit and soak with a well made martini. Cocks and vodka. I have simple tastes would welcome suggestions and will do full report on Bahrain, Manila, Pnom penh and kl when I return inn 6/7 weeks. Thank you

HIV/AIDS Generation Survivors
Something to do with mucous membranes. The only positive thing I remember from the experience was I was paid (well - allowed to claim if id completed the paperwork) £10 for a sperm sample. I was told to use the toilet in the corridor for the purpose…. The other caveat was that it had to be 24 hours since last coming. As I was paying £350 a night to be in a hotel, I’d planned hiring an escort for an hour or two later that evening. That ruled out giving the sample the next day. Anyway, jerking off into a pot in a hospital lab was not easy. Thank heavens for 5g porn on my phone. When I returned to the doctor room after I felt a little self concious. so I made an off the cuff quip - “I haven’t been paid ten quid to do that in a public toilet since I was 14”. Oh dear. Wrong thing to say. Next thing I’m being offered counselling as a survivor of abuse. FFS. Anyway the evening was a disaster too turns out coming twice in six hours is too much for me and I ended up alone in my hotel with a large brandy

HIV/AIDS Generation Survivors
I lost my partner to AIDS in 1992. It seemed like the world had ended. I was fortunate and was negative, despite literally thousands of contacts, many unprotected A few years ago I joined a volunteer study for HIV research in Paddington, London. It cost me £1000 in hotel and travel for the two day visit , staying in a nice 4 star hotel. The trial offered £40 towards expenses, although I didn’t bother filling out the paperwork to claim it I never heard back from the trial organisers afterwards. A couple of years later I followed up and was told that the trial had paused and all the samples I’d given were in a freezer somewhere.

Where have all the numbers gone?
I always used to think that given the age of the clientele they’d have made the numbers bigger.
