But, in Brazil, the boys do not work for the sauna and they are independent contractors and what happens at all stages is between the two parties. I bet most sauna owners do not want problems. But, at the same time, as a foreigner, I do not want an issue in a country that is not my own.

I agree with most of what you say. But, i have met plenty of effeminate Brazilian guys. Most of the saunas do not allow them in as they think their class base is offended but they are there. I forget the name of the sauna but there was one on the outskirts of Sao Paulo that was mostly local guys and they had some fem boys there. I also met some in Fortaleza at the saunas. I am curious how many people that live in Bangkok actually live near Soi Twilight or have to commute to get there. My point is that as the gay men move out of the center of the city, much like Chelsea in NYC, other areas popped up that housed gay bars and gay areas. Do you know the place that houses B and N massage? Well, that would be a good place IMHO as it is convenient for BTS and some of the major hotels and not that close to the city to need fast redevelopment. If you look at how much will be spent on the Dusit, you know that the entire area around there will be gone soon as well.

Why would a business that is successful in Bangkok move to Pattaya and think it would be successful? I am genuinely curious. Many hate Pattaya (I'm not one of them) but I don't see this as a possible action. Too many of these bars are successful because they are in Bangkok. Would you go see a Dream Boys show in Pattaya at 500 baht a drink? On a regular basis?
