Personally, I don't care. I believe the acceptance of gays in mainstream society took place so fast because of Hollywood and the TV industry. They kept showing loveable gay characters and their ratings didn't go down so they kept pushing the envelop. I think the more ads the world sees the better. I think the more gay characters on TV, the better. I think Ellen has done a lot for the gay rights movement. I wish I had more gay characters on TV when I was a kid. I do remember Dynasty and the gay son. I thought, "wow, there are others." Honestly, I wasn't so sure there were others till I saw him. I remember watching the show and just dying to see a scene with him in it. They disappointed as he wasn't a big character on there and his gay life was not discussed very much. But, I loved seeing him.

I am glad that more and more companies are catering to us gays. However, does this feel at all like overnight to anyone else? It seems like this "acceptance" just happened overnight. Was it slower than I think? Has this been a build up? Was this part of the recent SCOUTUS decision aftermath?

My boys stayed up to watch this and were very disappointed as they love Spain. I have been telling them the whole time that Brazil would win and they did not believe me. Well, we both may be wrong but at least their team went out quicker than my favorite team does.

You can go to a news site without seeing Amazon's new phone. It looks great and I am sure for many people, it will be a wonderful phone. I liked the 3D imaging and the camera system. What do others think about this phone? And, with the big media giants making and developing phones, etc. do you see a change in the marketplace? I mean I buy all my books at Amazon. I buy most gifts at Amazon. I buy all my clothes there. About the only thing I don't buy there is my fresh food but I am sure they will find a way to sell that to me as well.

I guess I am low so as they say in Thailand. I grew up in the south and McD was a real treat. I still love the taste of the food. OK, so it may not be as good as other places in the taste department but I still prefer it over all the other places on that list. Most of the time, given a choice, I would choose McD over Wendy's even though I like the Wendy's burger better. Maybe I am brainwashed. I don't know. But, I enjoy McD.

The season finale of Game of Thrones is Sunday night. I know where my ass will be. I love this show. Great season. Great acting and great story. I read the books (yes, they are LONG and they took me more time than any series I have read). But, the HBO series is fantabulous! I am excited the the author has said it would take yet another book to come to wrap up the series.

God, I hope so! I did not know he had written anything about me at all. Even if he called me the worst most horrible things on earth, I would still feel the same way about talking bad about him after his death. It is just the way a good Southern boy is raised. I did read the old Pattaya Bitch Board I think 4 or 5 times when links were posted on this site. I found it very distasteful and it gave me ulcers. And, I felt bad for GayButton as he was really spoken horribly about on that board and I consider him a friend. Thus, I never returned to that site. Very wise words KhorTose and I totally agree.

Thank goodness Pattaya is finally rid of those compulsive liars and those that savagely attack others. I was always in fear when I went there as I was worried about those vicious wolves. I met Neal personally only a few times at his bar. He was always nice and cordial and friendly to me. I never had an issue with him that I know of. If he is really gone, which no one really knows for sure, then I do hope he is able to rest in peace. I do know for a fact that many Thai boys loved him and regardless of what shit he pulled on the boards, he does have those that love and care for him. Their pain is much more important to me than the need for some to piss on his grave. I am in no way saying that this pissing is undeserved. I am only saying I find it distasteful. What I do find interesting is that when others in the community have died, most boards refused to allow negative discussions about them. I can think of one many years back that died who was very well respected in the community and when his death notice was published, even the slightest, "I didn't care for him" was deleted and removed. But, with LMTU and now Neal, the tide has turned. To me, that is sad. While I do think every board should be free and open to discuss any topic ad nauseam, I do find negative discussion of people who have died distasteful.

Most child stars turn out really fucked up. Michael Jackson - love him but he did some really crazy shit. That is only one that really fucked up but there is a slew of others. I don't think his behavior is hot in the least. I think he is arrogant and acts entitles and silly and stupid at times. I just don't think he is a racist and don't think that something that happened when he was 14 should determine his fate.
