  1. I love Ultimate Fighting. This guy is pretty damn bold!
  2. The error on the Contact Us page is an issue with code. The programmers have been told about it and it will be fixed. I don't know about the phone number working or not.
  3. The Federal Count struck down the Virginia ban on gay marriage. The numbers are piling up on our site and this pretty much ensures a Supreme Court decision on the final resolution to this issue. Congrats Virginia!
  4. Until this week, I thought it might be Zach. But, he turned crazy. Not sure he will make it after the shit he has pulled. Frankie is too much for me. Donnie reminds me of family. The Church Lady is sweet but if I hear ore more Praise God, I'm going to throw up. The little Jewish American Princess I am rooting for but she will have to stand alone as they don't like her for some reason. I agree the detective will be in the end. With who? I don't know yet. But, those girls are really stupid! 4 of them put up this week and they don't realize they are being picked off one by one?
  5. The only thing I keep there that belongs to me is some stuff for the kitchen and a bicycle and motorcycle. My BF has those things and keeps, uses and sometimes sells or modifies the motorbike. Funny, the kitchen stuff is always in pristine condition and untouched.
  6. I go to Thailand for months at a time. I do stay in nice hotels and have been often chastised because of this. I guess it is hard for me to see any of my trips as bragging when often the total cost of my hotels is often less than 100 USD per night. IMHO, that is good business and not "flaunting ones money." I am in the USA right now and visiting family for one month. I am staying in a Holiday Inn Express and the cost is 143.00 per night. Based on my last stay in Bangkok of 90,000 per month (less than 100 per night), I was saving nearly 1/3 per night staying at The Ascott. And, while saving money, I also had a 2 bedroom / 2 bathroom apartment with kitchen. In other words, I didn't think spending 100 a night is boastful or rubbing anything in someone's face. I think staying for less than 100 per night is a really sweet deal. As for me taking too many bags with me, I live in hotels year round. Thus, I have most of everything I own to travel with me. I am sure if most of you packed up everything you own, it would be more than 7 bags of stuff. I learned a long time back to try my best to save money when traveling and thus why I use miles to upgrade to business class. I can think of only one time in 5 years that I paid full price for a business class fare. I watch the message boards, forums, etc related to travel and I try to find good deals. I really do never mean to sound like I am bragging when I travel, I do think that good information about travel costs is important. It is relevant to me when I read it and I hope relevant to others when they read some. Bob, I really do not mean to sound like I live a glamorous life. I life a life where I am constantly trying to find good deals for long stays. I have done this for years and years and I'll keep doing it as long as I can. If I come across as anything other than trying to give information, then I do apologize for that. I am sure that your friends that don't talk about these things are much more entertaining than I am. But, I grew up poor white trailer trash and for me to stay in a 5 star hotel for 100 USD per night, makes me feel like I won the lottery! I try not to leave my beer cans on the sofa when I travel but from time to time, I forget my manners.
  7. Anyone watching this show? So far I think it is pretty darn good. I like the storyline. It is about a cop in LA who has been raised by a Latin gang. He is nurtured throughout his life to be their undercover guy in the police department. Interesting story.
  8. vinapu, I agree with your comments. The sad thing is that while the boys wages are not going in the money boy venues, their cost of living still increases. Rents have gone up. Food has gone up. Taxes have gone up. It takes more to pull yourself out of poverty than it did for me. I grew up very poor and knew that the only way out of poverty was an education. I was lucky that I was able to pick a good school, get scholarships and work 60 hours a week to pay for school to help me in my future. I don't know many who can do that these days. Esp. in the USA. But, even in Thailand, if you look at the boys in the bars, they are not going to get rich off of their jobs. They may make better if they are offed multiple times per week but heck, if a boy makes 15k per month and then pays all his expenses, he is left with very little.
  9. LOL If your friends don't travel with 15 bags perhaps you are hanging out with the wrong wealthy friends.
  10. I do know that you are not alone in your opinion. Like you, I just happen to disagree. When I read a travel report, I like to get the details. It is not about how much or how little someone spends, but it does give others a good idea of what someone who wishes to plan a trip that is similar will spend. I don't expect everyone that reads any of my reports to stay in the same hotels, etc. but I do find value in that information. You, being an expat that lives in Thailand, do not find the information relevant for yourself. That is OK. But, for those that might want to make a similar trip, I think some will find the details interesting. Since I have been posting on this board, I have tried my best not to give details of how much I pay or tip for boys services. I do however give hotels, restaurants, bar fees, etc. You may find all of that info useless. I am not offended by anyone who finds it useless. However, I know there are some that find the information relevant to them. And, regardless of how it may come across, I keep posting and contributing.
  11. I tell everyone I know. I do not hid the fact I love Thailand and visit it often. When asked why, I always say they welcome gays better than any place on earth. When asked about the sex scene, I tell them it is great. When asked about the temples, I say "what is that?" (jk on the last one)
  12. Would that not be great?
  13. Your opinion only. I have been hiring for many years. 10 years ago in NYC, the average is still about the same as today. 10 years in Thailand and the average paid is about the same. Brazil, more than 10 years and it is about the same in most places or maybe 5 or 10 USD more. I am not sure what kind of job you have, but I would not be working in any job that does not have good pay increases over the years. I think the rates are about the same as they were years ago. That does not change based on a few over the top tippers. In face, it has the opposite effect. It allows those like you who do not wish to tip as much the luxury of having the boys available as they can eat and pay rent. Good for you. Good for me. Good for the boys. No?
  14. Let me see here: If I were in Paris, a billionaire (or millionaire) and was ousted from power by a coup and charged with crimes by those who are in charge and the trial would be by those that want me in jail, I don't think I would return. Paris must be sounding good to her. She should stay IMHO. But, I hope she returns and fights.
  15. You made me interested as well. I took a look at one yesterday and it was light and comfortable and very cheap. I liked it a great deal. Very smart for Google to make something that works so perfectly with all of their stuff!
  16. The Bangkok Post today said that the speculation is that Yingluck will not return to Thailand as she and her son left Thailand for France and that they had 15 bags with them. My first thought was, "wow, how can they travel so light." But, it will be interesting to see if she returns to face those trumped up charges where those that made them are the judge, jury and executioner. http://www.bangkokpost.com/learning/learning-from-news/422323/yingluck-trip-hugs-in-paris-speculation-in-thailand
  17. Thailand's new temporary constitution that gives the military government sweeping powers in the run-up to a planned October 2015 election also allows the leader of the current ruling junta to become interim prime minister, a senior army official said Wednesday. The document adopted Tuesday is the first step toward restoring electoral democracy in Thailand, two months after the army took power in a coup, but the junta will continue to hold substantial power even after an interim Cabinet and legislature take office in September. Although the interim charter is supposed to pave the way for civilian rule, it gives the junta — officially called the National Council for Peace and Order — what amounts to supreme power over political developments. It also legalizes all actions the junta has taken since the coup, as well as the takeover itself. The members of the National Legislative Assembly will be appointed by the junta, and in turn will nominate a prime minister. The prime minister will then pick a Cabinet, which must be confirmed by the assembly. The 48-article charter also lays out the process by which a permanent constitution will be drafted and adopted. http://abcnews.go.com/International/wireStory/thailands-junta-adopts-interim-constitution-24661761
  18. Have you been there before? Are you interested in seeing the sites more or the bars more?
  19. Honestly, I am not sure. I don't keep anything questionable on mine. The only thing I can think of that might be problematic is torrents. And, I would never put them in any cloud device. They are too big of files IMHO. That said, as with everything on the net, if it is illegal, do not put it online. Anywhere. EVER. And, I think that includes torrents. As for porn, I put it there all the time with no issue. But, I also have the legal right to the photos I put online. I use AEBN to download movies and I keep all of them on cloud devices. I also have porn photos I own and store there. It is never a worry for me. But, they are all legal and nothing questionable. I would be leery about torrents.
  20. I don't disagree with you. But, I keep backups of photos, videos, ect on the cloud. If someone at MS wants to look, they can go for it. I have no highly classified information so for me, it works well.
  21. If you are a total size queen when it comes to online data drop box accounts, you need to read the latest offerings from Microsoft's One Drive. I was a bit shocked when I saw my storage on my computer showing 1TB possible so I had to research. I have the 9.99 Office Package as it is worth it for me to get the updates, plus free Skype minutes plus free storage. Now, storage is drastically bigger, longer and uncut and no extra price increase. Love it! https://blog.onedrive.com/your-onedrive-just-got-bigger/

  23. A judge in the Florida Keys today overturned Florida's ban on gay marriage. Circuit Judge Luis Garcia in Monroe County made history, ruling that a provision in the Florida Constitution that outlaws same-sex marriage violates the U.S. Constitution. His ruling, if enacted, would make Florida the 20th state to allow same-sex marriage. http://www.orlandosentinel.com/news/local/breakingnews/os-gay-marriage-ban-overturned-florida-20140717,0,5016096.story
  24. Global Entry is great to get through. But, it is always the secondary stop that gets me when they see how many bags I have.
  25. I have lived some time in 5 of those. LOL I think that may say pretty bad things about me.
