The Killing was cancelled and then brought back to wrap up the series for 6 episodes. I just started watching this. So far, as usual, it is great acting and very dark characters. But, a real treat to see.

No Steven, this is not manipulating anyone's opinion. There is a reason that you have gone off so oddly in the 2 threads in question. I do not know your reason. Only you do. But, it isn't fair to say that I tried to manipulate anything as I have not done so. By leaving this and other threads in tact, the record shows the history of the threads and intelligent readers can then determine what they think the intent is or was behind each post. They may decide that you were insane or that I was being a manipulating dickwad. But, that is up for them to determine based on the posts in question. I do not see evil in everything you post. In the two threads in question, I do see an agenda. Whether or not that agenda got what you wished or not, is only for you to determine. I found it all very odd myself. Hopefully, both threads will die down but it won't be because I stiffed the discussion. I am always happy to discuss anything in private with you. That being said. When I discuss things in private, I expect them to stay in private as opposed to bits and tidbits being posted on a message board and then saying I can't discuss them further as it was private. In other words, you saying that 2 posters left the site based on a discussion and then saying oh, I can't discuss that was that would violate privacy. I am not sure where you draw a privacy line but I would say the first mention of it crossed the line. Thus, why some conversations are often better kept in the public forum for others to see.

Actually Steven, you bring the discussion that was happening into another thread over to this one was the reason this thread was started. Let me explain the software. There is a button on Invision Forum (what this forum uses as code) that allows mods to split or delete topics or even move posts and threads to other forums. As you had gone off the original topic, it was decided that the best way to keep the posts that were off topic was to move all the ones that were not related to the original topic. When this was done, I think it was about 40 or so posts that were moved. Your post was the first post that went off topic. When a new thread was started with all of the off topic posts, a new title had to be named. Instead of calling it, Steven Draker Goes Off Topic to Reek Havoc, it was named venom and poop based on the contents in the thread. This gives reasonable people the ability to decide if they wish to wade through the shit inside the thread, many of which you and I piled on. While I realize that someone who has an agenda would not want his posts moved to a new thread. The fact is your posts were not deleted or manipulated in any way. They were left in tack for others to see and discuss. Isn't that a good thing? Perhaps, you would prefer the threads to be closed? Ain't going to happen no matter how much you or someone else hits throws up the red flag. At some point, they made be closed but the record will stay in tack. Why? We don't willy nilly go about closing and deleting posters content on this site. Even if that was the intent of the person who started a thread or the person who keeps trying to push things over the top to get them closed. Intentions are often wasted when adults are allowed to openly discuss things. I find the discussion childish. But, that is not a reason to close it or delete it. Be a child as much as you want. I find that even I got into the dirt box to play with you from time to time. Look, every time there is a meltdown on the other site, one escort or poster comes over here to decry how horrible we are to not be more supportive and to stir the pot. The first time this happened was when the site started. The escort in question revealed things on the site that he got from admins of another site. It may have just been coincidence that he decided to post them here but the ending result was new posters would see the passion that many on the site have about both sites. The same thing happened during the great meltdown. The same thing is happening now with one poster trying this darnedest to stir the pot and constantly keep bring up things so that the threads progress in a negative way. I honestly thought this tread was very kind in its treatment of the issues Daddy is having. I did see a few posts which pushed the boundaries but they were only a few. There were many posts which were silly and meant to be funny and I see no issue with those at all. This thread has gotten over 10 Reports and requests for me to close it based on: "we should not allow discussion of the other site here." That is absurd. As I have said, few threads here are ever deleted and they have to be over the top for anyone to delete them. This one does not broach that threshold yet. I realize that some see any discussion of Daddy as a negative discussion as he does not have his supporters here to blow sunshine up our ass. However, this thread is open. Blow sunshine away. I have praised Daddy in the past and I wish him well during his hospital stay and his server issues. I do find it all slightly comical that no one should be allowed to talk about it though. If that is the case, when issues happen, unless he has arrangements with the hosting company, he has to fix them on his own. Most companies do not do maintenance on other people's servers. This is not about Daddy. But, this is for anyone who has a website and wishes to host anywhere for anything whether business or private: Do not use your own servers. Rent them. Lease them. And, do so from a company that has outstanding tech support. I have had thousands of issues over the years and without a good tech support staff, I would have been dead in the water. This is no slam on Daddy or anyone else. It is simple business advice. This site is hosted in a place that is expensive and has great support staff. I have other Word Press sites that are hosted at GoDaddy or BlueHost or others and there is no comparison with regard to the level of support. When you have so many choices as we all do, choose the one that best takes care of you in the end. I often tell my family that if I get sick that I want to be transported to Thailand for surgery, recovery or my death bed. Why? The level of care is far superior to anything out there and I love being taken care of. The same is true with hosting. I want a company that takes care of issues as fast as possible. That does not mean things still cannot get fucked up really fast. They can. But, you can only prepare so much. I did not know where Daddy hosts. Who hosts his sites. If he owns his sites or anything else. And, honestly, I really don't care. But, I think when sites go down for days at time, that we all must look at the situation and say to ourselves, "why did this happen and how could be be resolved?" Why you ask? These are Daddy's sites you say. Yes, I know. But, the sites rely on content that is given by others and those others are your shareholders and they deserve to be in the loop. That is just my opinion and I know that opinions are like assholes and everyone has them. But, that is mine.

Oh, I didn't pick up on that post. So sorry. I am not sure why anyone would want to keep their own server these days. Most companies are moving to "cloud" servers. I lease servers but the cloud scares me as it is not something I know. Daddy is a bit older than me and he might feel the same way about having his server in another location not in his personal control. We all come to the table with different needs and preferences and I don't know Daddy's. I do know I would never trust my own sites not have a backup in a different location than the main server. I am sure that after this experience, he will most likely change things a bit. And, JKane, you are a sly one.
