From Texas to Kentucky I have been a bit absent for the last 2 weeks and I apologize for this. I helped my family move from Texas to Kentucky. Between the packing, the movers, the driving and 2 kids and 4 dogs, it was a hell of a 2 weeks. LOL We had many little issues along the way including hotel problems, driving issues, allergic reactions, all night driving, dropping furniture on my feet, and a few other scrapes and bruises. While I did enjoy my time in Texas when I was there with family, I am now excited to spend some time in Kentucky. It is a beautiful state and while I won't be here long on this trip, I will be returning in the coming months and years. Goodbye Texas. I enjoyed you while I was there but now my heart is in Kentucky! (actually, it is in Thailand but my family is now in Kentucky so part of my heart is there)

Also, please remember that many people come to the site through search engines and they often find the site through them. I remember a few years back that I did a thread on Ping Pong Pussy Shows in Bangkok and after about a week or two, I saw there were over a few hundred people reading the thread at one time and then I did a good search for Ping Pong Pussy and it was number 1 in Google for a few weeks. That brought in tons of traffic. I agree with FH that the front page listings get a lot of views and I have been told by more than one person that if they want to find a gay place in Thailand, they first look at the front of this site. That is great for the site and for the community. IMHO

I think I would enjoy eating fake meat about as much as I do sucking a dick that has silicone inserted in it. (NOT at all) Show me the Beef! and, let it be real and large.

Willie: I am not so sure that the reason he was turned down is because he is big. I am a large man myself and can't think of the last time I was turned down. But, if your friend was an asshole or had a bad reputation or was known to be cheap, I have seen many boys turn guys down. For all: I think so much of this has to do with personality and perception. I know that many boys often perceive I am a big tipper. I guess I am and thus why most vie for my attention. I do remember a wise man once told me that during slow season the boys go with the expat farangs more as they get little work but when the big money guys come into town they are often ignored. Christian, I can't wait to get to Bangkok and find this guy that everyone is in awe of. Enchanter, merchandise is merchandise. Some are more precious than others but we must remember that it is a transaction for financial gain. For all: I had a very very dear friend who once ran the largest escort service in the USA for gay men. He told me that his boys were pros and went with anyone that hired them. But, there was one man who was so obese and smelly that even the finest and most professional of his boys could not be with him. Finally, my friend had to tell the man that he was sorry but that the service he was offering was not for him. When the client questioned this, over and over, my friend finally had to tell the man that the boys didn't mind the size but they could not stand the smell and the personality. You see, one must find something attractive in order to get aroused.

I love air travel but for me, there is no place on earth like landing at LaGuardia in NYC.

When My Son Met His 'Boyfriend,' Darren Criss
TotallyOz replied to TotallyOz's topic in The Beer Bar
Yeah, I think when I was 5 or so, it was a bit of fooling around but mostly silly stuff. The older we got, the more things progressed. It is funny, that we both grew up in Alabama (bastion of hatred) and yet we are both gay and living with BF's. Of course, I am out to my family but he is just "living with" his business partner for 20 years. LOL -
Me too. But, hitoallusa, are you polyamorous? You seem to want a lot of husbands. (me too)

Sorry guys, but this dickwad may run for POTUS in 2016 and the battle lines are drawn. He hates gays and we need to be sure he stays in Florida where he belongs.

ThinkProgress spoke with the Florida Senator at the opening luncheon of the annual Faith and Freedom Forum on Thursday and asked him about the Employment Non-Discrimination Act (ENDA), a bill to make discrimination against LGBT individuals illegal across the country. Though Rubio bristles at the notion of being called a “bigot,” he showed no willingness to help protect LGBT workers from discrimination. “I’m not for any special protections based on orientation,” Rubio told ThinkProgress. KEYES: The Senate this summer is going to be taking up the Employment Non-Discrimination Act which makes it illegal to fire someone for being gay. Do you know if you’ll be supporting that? RUBIO: I haven’t read the legislation. By and large I think all Americans should be protected but I’m not for any special protections based on orientation. KEYES: What about on race or gender? RUBIO: Well that’s established law. KEYES: But not for sexual orientation?

It is obvious that Marco Rubio does not like gays. Here is what he said about the Immigration bill that Leahy has filed an amendment that would give gays and lesbians immigration rights. "If this bill has in it something that gives gay couples immigration rights and so forth, it kills the bill. I'm gone. I'm off it," he said. "I've said that repeatedly. I don't think that's going to happen, and it shouldn't happen. This is already a difficult enough issue as it is." Now, may I ask why on earth he is such a douchebag?

Starbucks Plans to Double Number of Stores in Thailand

I would say Brazil and other Latin American Countries. It is where I always get the best coffee and I always take a bag back on the plane with me when I return. -
When My Son Met His 'Boyfriend,' Darren Criss
TotallyOz replied to TotallyOz's topic in The Beer Bar
I had my first "boyfriend" when I was 5 and he was 7. It lasted over 10 years. I did know at an early age I was not attracted to women. BTW: I do love Darren Criss too and want him to be my boyfriend. -
I will be returning to Bangkok soon and spending several months there. I talked to the boys that stay with me in LOS and we have decided this time we want to know which restaurant has the best pizza. We will head to at last 10 or 15 places while I am there to test them. Any suggestions you have for us to include in our Pizza roundup?

Study Shows Pill Prevents H.I.V. Among Drug Addicts In a very interesting NYT article, the effects of taking drugs before infection is a good sign in the fight against HIV. It is also interesting that this study was done in Thailand and the participants were paid. http://www.nytimes.com/2013/06/13/health/pill-prevents-hiv-among-drug-addicts-in-a-study.html?hp&_r=0

I have let the programmers know of this thread. The only change that was done on the site was a security patch to the forum. It was not major and should not have affected login but often things don't work as expected. We will try to fix the issues as we understand them.

For some reason, I tend to watch 24 every few years. Not just a show or two but the entire season. It still holds my interests as does Boston Legal. I loved Married with Children but have never gotten into the reruns. The two shows I NEVER tire of are Golden Girls and Sex in the City. Love them to death.

Smugglers drive Thailand's grim trade in dog meat
TotallyOz replied to TotallyOz's topic in Gay Thailand
I grew up on a farm. We raised cows, pigs, chickens, ducks, geese, etc. We feed them, cared for them and then we ate them. As a child it seemed normal to me but we also had pets that were part of our lives (dogs) that we would never dream of eating. I grew up in a dog family. We always had them in our lives and more than once, a dog has saved a member of my family from harm. I never had any other of those animals save us. -
I'm sold!

I think it is very funny and witty. But, I do have my niece and nephew who love it as well and they were merchandise from the show all the time.

Smugglers drive Thailand's grim trade in dog meat
TotallyOz replied to TotallyOz's topic in Gay Thailand
Really? You see no difference in eating an animal that is smart and can be trained to help the blind, etc and eating a farm animal? So, I guess it would be OK to also eat chimpanzees? -
My heart broke reading this on CNN today. CNN: Packed tight into wire baskets -- sometimes 20 or more to a cage -- animal rights activists say as many as 200,000 live dogs every year are smuggled from northeast Thailand across the Mekong River destined for restaurants in Vietnam. Dehydrated, stressed, some even dying of suffocation on the trip, the dogs are often stacked 1,000 to a truck on a journey that lasts for days. "Obviously when you've got dogs stacked on top of each other they start biting each other because they are so uncomfortable, any kind of movement then the dog next to the one that's being crushed is going to bite back," said Tuan Bendixsen, director of Animals Asia Foundation Vietnam, a Hanoi-based animal welfare group. When they arrive in Vietnam, the suffering doesn't end there. A common belief is that stress and fear releases hormones that improve the taste of the meat, so the dogs are placed in stress cages that restrict their movement. Eventually, the dogs are either bludgeoned to death or have their throats cut in front of other dogs who are awaiting the same fate. In some cases, they've been known to be skinned alive. "Dogs are highly intelligent animals so if you kill a dog and you have a whole cage of dogs next to the one that's being killed, those dogs that are going to be killed next know what's going on," Bendixsen said. According to animal rights groups, dog smugglers round up everything from family pets to Thailand's ubiquitous strays -- known as soi dogs -- to sell the animals in Vietnam, or even as far away as China where a pedigree dog can fetch a premium price. John Dalley of the Phuket-based Soi Dog Foundation estimates 98% of the dogs are domesticated and that some are even still wearing collars and have been trained and respond to commands. http://www.cnn.com/2013/06/02/world/asia/thailand-dogs/?iref=obnetwork

Vacationland: Movie Review
TotallyOz replied to TotallyOz's topic in Theater, Movies, Art and Literature
If you have never seen the movie, just give it a try. It is not porn but it is sexy. -
Vacationland Vacationland is a truly odd film. You'll either love it or hate it, depending on your basic preferences. It is certainly unique in its genre. The best way to describe it is to imagine if Wes Anderson made a film about lower-class gay teenagers. Nothing really happens in the film in any linear sense; we simply get to see snapshots of what life would be like as a gay teen in northern Maine 20 years ago. It is set in the slums of Bangor, Maine, and they seem as bleak and desperate as any housing project anywhere. Everyone in town is poor, and no one seems to have much hope for the future. The main characters are Joe, who is popular because he's very good looking and an artist; and Andrew, who is popular because he is the quarterback of the football team. The two at first are dating the two most popular girls in school and neither realizes that they are in love with one another. Joe's mom is the town slut, and Andrew is a kleptomaniac. They've been best friends forever, and we see many images of both of them jerking off thinking about the other, but neither twigs the other's gaydar at all. Finally, their girlfriends figure out they are gay and in love, and point it out to them. They tell them that if they don't fuck each other and let them watch, they will out them to the whole school. So, Joe and Andrew finally fuck, and the girls get turned on and make out with each other. We never see the girls again, but it seems reasonable that they are in some secret lesbian relationship. Joe and Andrew then start dating, and for a while not much happens. They have lots of sex, they discover the local gay bar, they have more sex, and Joe plans how to get out of Bangor. First he becomes a houseboy for a disabled older gay man. Then he seduces his high school French teacher in order to blackmail him into giving him a great recommendation for art school. He also gets a job at the local grocery store. Not much else happens until Joe sees a guy at the gay bar he recognizes and freaks out. It turns out the dude molested him when he was a child. Joe gets his number, and decides to get revenge later on. Eventually Joe gets into the art school, but has no money to be able to afford to go. He tells this to the man he is staying with. The man sends him out on an errand and when Joe gets back, he finds out that the dude has killed himself and left everything to Joe so he can go to school. Before heading off to art school, however, Joe and Andrew lure the child molester over to the dude's place, beat the living shit out of him, write the word fag on his face, and drop him on a beach where a known homeless gay basher lives presumably hoping the dude will kill him for them. Then the movie ends. It's beautiful in its bleakness, even though there isn't much plot. If you want to see an interesting slice of life about two very good-looking young gay men, you'll love this film. If you are looking for something with a bit more plot, it might not be for you. But the people who love it and you know who you are should download it again right away. cc boytoy.com 2013
