Here are some of the racist and homophobic comments Aaryn Gries has made on Big Brother 15: -- "They (referring to two African-american contestants) are going to stick together because of the black thing" -- "Learn how to talk, it's asked, not aksed," while talking to another African-american contestant. -- "Shut up and go and make some rice," referring to an Asian contestant -- "He could get MVP (a privilege given by viewers to the favorite contestant every week) because everyone loves the queers," referring to a gay contestant -- "She is the first Asian I know who doesn't do nails," referring to an Asian contestant.

The blond guy is gone. Still some cuties in there. I like the gay guy but he is a bit too much in the clothes department. I do expect that he will get nominated this week.

We made the vegetable chili recipe I gave earlier in this thread. The boys loved it and thought it tasted great except next time, they want a bit more chili powder. It did turn our delicious and we make a double dose to have some for freezer for the next week. Yummy!

I always love the summer show Big Brother. I had friends in NYC when I ran an escort agency that would show up at my apartment for every episode and we would make it a Big Brother night. I have kept that tradition and still love the show. For those that have missed the controversy, one of the sexy blond bimbos has been spouting off racist and homophobic comments and they have gotten her dumped from her modeling agency. Her new nickname is the Paula Dean of Big Brother. http://www.tmz.com/2013/07/03/big-brother-aaryn-gries-modeling-agency-zephyr/

Gay Bangkok vs. Gay Pattaya: A Gay Man's Adventures in Thailand
TotallyOz replied to TotallyOz's topic in Gay Thailand
There is noise there? So sorry, I have never noticed as my vision is usually in overload. -
Well, while I love John Keats and Percy Booth Shelly, I am not much of a poet so I won't write a beautiful ode for him as it would be silly. (Lookin: if you read this, feel free to chime in) But, I saw a post from Lucky in the Lurkerspeaks thread and then he deleted it to remind us he is retired. I just wanted to remind Lucky that being retired is not the same as being dead. You can retire from posting and just post here and there and it will be appreciated. But, to completely remove yourself is more than retirement; it is desertion. We hope that when you feel the urge, that you will post even while you sip margaritas in PS. You too are very missed as a presence on this site and we hope you drop by a bit more in between your shuffleboard to entertain us from time to time.

I have thought about commenting once more on this thread or stopping it or just letting it go. I still have mixed feelings but I have also met both lurker and Tom and like them both a great deal. No one should ever participate in a forum if they feel unsafe or in fear. We all have different triggers that cause us to think a particular way. I did not agree with lurker's assessment of a threat being sent to him. If I had agreed with him I would have banned the other member immediately. In hindsight I should have spent more time with lurker and try to understand the issue more. For that, I do apologize. I am happy he is still here and seems to have decided to participate. I have always enjoyed his posts and have missed them in the past few months. I feel just horrible that I did not make him feel more comfortable on the site. I failed in my job as an Admin and my sincere apologies for this. As for Tom I did not know an issue existed. As for the threads being altered by means of him deleting the images, well that was very destructive. I, for one, would not have been so active with the photo threads had I known my posts would be rendered irrelevant. Like a few others here, I think that removal was extremely inconsiderate of all who did participate on those threads. For me, it was a PITA as I didn't know what happened to them and I spent a great deal of time and money trying to fix the issue. And, for years to come if someone reads those threads they will make no sense. I may just delete all those threads as they now make no sense (I can't tell you how much time that will take). That is a conversation TY and I will have to have and any input from the members is appreciated. While Tom was well in his right to do this, it really does mean his legacy of promoting Brazil and the boys he knew there over the last 10 years is now mute. I always saw Tom's postings as art. I just can't imagine an artist destroying all their art but I know it happens. Sadly, for those future visitors to Brazil that would have benefited from his marvelous contribution to that forum, they now will read post after post and say, "WTF". I do think firecat summed it up nicely. The site will go on but it is much better with both of these guys on the site. Both add such great content and wonderful conversation to the site and both are valued here. Both are welcome and appreciated as seen by this thread. My sincere apologies to both if I have said anything offensive in this post but I did feel I had to express my opinion after having a day to think about this, cry just a bit and then get drunk (now sober). Please no one tell me to "man up" or tears are "for sissies". I am as much a man today as I was yesterday wearing my high hills and boa.

I thought this was despicable. To stop the president of another country to make sure someone we were hunting was not on board is a true slap in the face for not only Bolivia but for all other countries as well. When will we ever learn?

That is quite low for the Atlantico. Although, I would not stay there, I guess I can see why others would. I would think renting an apartment would be better quality for the same price though. As for the 100R, I have heard boys asking for that for years. They do need some cost of living increase.

To ignore someone: Click on your name at the top of this screen. A pop down will appear with many choices. One of them is Manage Ignore Preference. Click that and then follow the directions to add someone to your ignore list.

Thanks for the great report firecat! I have to say, that you picked my favorite 3 bars in Pattaya. I do wonder how the loss of Madam Jim from Boyz will make the soi different? I heard she had retired and only taking care of her resort. Perhaps that will bring new blood into Boyz Boyz Boyz?

When I am in Thailand, I use ITunes and torrents to get my shows. They are pretty much instant on torrents. For the shows that ITunes carry, I do that first but if they don't have it, I just download them. I never can find So you Think you Can Dance on ITunes so I get it anyway I can.

I think they are all adorable but I love Alan and Fik-Shun. This is season after season one of my favorite shows. Never a disappointed. Well, I didn't like the way the guys got the boot early in the show last night. I much prefer that at the end.

This makes me want to get back into photography so I can shoot some of these! Very fucking hot. All 4 of them. Adorable.

Gay Bangkok vs. Gay Pattaya: A Gay Man's Adventures in Thailand
TotallyOz replied to TotallyOz's topic in Gay Thailand
Having spent some time yesterday in Siam Paragon, I can tell you that this statement is still true. I don't know of any place on earth (except the beach in Rio) where I find more hot guys walking and cruising. It is lovely to go there and spend time to see the cute guys. Eye Candy is everywhere and I just love it there. -
I also plan to visit a few more places for Burgers and to sample some of the old ones on this trip. Any suggestions on new places to test and try?

Or, anyone else interested in amazing food like Paula Dean would bake. If you were born in the South in the USA, you most likely had the divine experience to taste Pecan Pie. I grew up with this and I love it beyond words but it is really high calorie and very sweet. But, yesterday while at the grocery store in Siam Paragon, I found a vendor that sells these. I purchased a piece with full knowledge it would not tastes like my families recipe. I was so surprised when I tasted this. It was delicious and tasted just like the pies I grew up with in Alabama. Yumm!

The Front Page was never Thai Massage for Men in Pattaya by Men as that is too long and the system was not built for character phrase that long. It was always Thai Massage ONLY. Of this, I am 99.9 percent sure.

Bring all those hot Brazilian Boys and Thai Guys over to the USA. You can now legally do this if you are married in a place that allows gay marriage. http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2013/07/02/napolitano-confirms-gay-couples-can-apply-visa-for-foreign-spouse/?test=latestnews#ixzz2XvcG4FyU The Obama administration confirmed that gay citizens can apply for a visa for a foreign spouse now that the Supreme Court has struck down part of the Defense of Marriage Act that limited such privileges to heterosexual couples. Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano said Monday that same-sex visa petitions must be processed in the same manner as those filed by opposite-sex couples, one day after a lawyer for an American man and his Bulgarian male spouse said his clients became the first gay couple in the United States to have their application approved. Even gay couples living in states that dont recognize same-sex marriages can apply for the visa as long as they were married in a state (or foreign country) that recognizes such marriages. Well, that is good to know. I had a few members email me about the photos and I thought it was a board malfunction and have had my programmers, the hosting company and the Invision staff trying to figure out what happened. After over 500 USD spent, we decided that someone had deleted photos but I didn't know who, now I do. Thanks for the heads up. After I first heard you were upset I went back and read and reread tons of posts to try to determine where the nastiness was but I could not. We live in an online world where some people are more sensitive than others. I am not the most sensitive I know but I also have a pretty thick skin. That said, when I saw the posts in question, I did not see them the way you did and I read them multiple times. Do you think that possible history plays a role in your decision or was it so blatant that the board rules were violated and I didn't see it? I am seriously asking as we hate to loose members but to this date, I have not see posts which violate our rules. And, if they do not violate the rules, should we then just start banning others when a member complains? My Mom told me the same thing and I try my best to live that way but when you are dealing with an adult community of men, they will often speak their minds even if it is hard for others to hear or not the nice thing to say. IMHO, that encourages debate and as long as the debate is done is a gentlemanly manner, that should be good for the community. I don't learn very much from someone who agrees with me all the time. I learn from someone disagreeing with me. Likewise, we are not all going to like the same type of guy. I love Asian guys but I know others don't. To me, that is a preference and I have created threads where people said some unkind things about the guys I post about. I chalk it up to a difference in tastes. But, I also can find some good things about any group of sexy men in a thread. I may not be into muscle guys, but I do love looking at them. As I have said in the past, we do value each and everyone of our members and we do appreciate them all. As adults, do we really need an admin or moderator to step in when someone says they don't like a guy that someone else likes or when someone disagrees. Again, perhaps I missed those threads but if it has caused you and Tomcal to be that upset, please post links to those threads here so we can view them. I grew up with a large family and we fought often but we never held grudges for too long. I hope that is true here and that everyone who is upset with speak up and let us know how we can achieve the kind of board where all feel comfortable.

Reading this thread, I looked at your post and see it is not changed at all. The post is the same as always. What changed is the front page of the site and it says, Ef's Thai Massage. Nothing in the forum has changed.

I have a Business Visa which allows me to stay for 3 months and then leave and come back immediately. However, a tourist visa gives you 30 days upon entry. You can get extensions, etc on that but not too many 30 days in a row. I have done 4 or 5 before but that is always scrutinized a bit more. If you are 50 and up, you can get a retirement visa which allows you to stay here permanently and come and go as you please. But, I have a few years to go before I get that so I just get the Business Visa which is a real PITA. Lucky, I'll try to post some good stories for you.

My sister sent this to me. I have fallen in love with this meal. It tastes great and is great for you. Give it a try if you have time. Root vegetables (with the exception of potatoes and carrots) are some of the most overlooked and under-appreciated foodstuffs around. But these nutritional storehouses are hidden treasures worthy of your notice. Not only are they available in winter when other vegetables are hard to find, they are also very inexpensive. Experiment with turnips, rutabagas, beets and parsnips, and learn what they have to offer in taste and versatility. Rutabaga (also known as swede) is an accidental vegetable - the result of a chance hybridization of turnips and cabbage. Like carrots, they're low in sodium and high in vitamin C. The flavor of all root vegetables will be enhanced by selecting fresh, firm produce (preferably organically grown) and storing it carefully. Turnips and potatoes should be stored in a cool, dark place out of the refrigerator. The rest of these roots will keep well in the refrigerator for at least a week. Ingredients 2 pounds root vegetables (use potatoes, carrots, parsnips, turnips, rutabagas, beets), peeled and cut into 1-inch pieces 1 medium onion, peeled and cut into 1/3-inch wedges 1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil Salt to taste 1 head garlic, separated into cloves and peeled Chopped fresh herbs like rosemary or balsamic vinegar (optional) Instructions 1. Heat oven to 400 degrees. Place the root vegetables and onion in a roasting pan. 2. Toss the vegetables with the olive oil and salt to taste. Do not crowd the vegetables. 3. Roast the mixture for a total of 45-50 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes. After 30 minutes, scatter the garlic cloves in with the vegetables. Continue stirring every 15 minutes until the vegetables are tender and evenly browned. 4. Before serving, add a sprinkling of fresh chopped herbs or balsamic vinegar, if you like for additional flavor.
