  1. This is the exact same wording that has been used for all the years the site has been in operation. I know as I wrote it. It has always been the same and never changed. Private messages are private and not readable by mods or admins. However, if a subpoena came to the site for access to an account, I can't imagine how that would be denied. That said, it has never happened. The only thing I think would ever cause this is the posting of underage porn on the site which is not allowed. When that happens, the FBI often gets involved and asks for IP information from the offender. Also, this has never happened on this site.
  2. Dear European Union, You want Amanda Knox? Give us Roman Polanski. Love, America
  3. Fantastic photos and report. Thanks so much. You are a true adventurer!
  4. I have a very fun few days. My friend tomcal left yesterday and before he left, I met him in Ipsnema for lunch and then we headed to Point 202 for his last night. Point is nowhere near as busy as it was a few years back. IMHO, management really let things slide. The facilities and the location is fantastic but the boys are no longer there and neither are the customers. Tom likes it from time to time but on this trip, I found nothing I liked about it. It is also notorious for padding the bill. It is so very common that I have refused to even step food in the place in years gone by. I had my regular over for an overnighter and it was fun. On Sunday afternoon, the hotel Internet hotel went out completely. It was just dead. I was livid and I made my feelings known. On Monday, the first thing I did was go to Sugar Loaf Mountain. I have been many times in the past but I love the view. The entire week has been horrible for photos. There has been no sun and it has been very grey and rainy. Today was no exception. I was going to take the helicopter ride with 2 other guys I met on the way up but they told us that the Christo was not visible in the clouds. The ride was going to cost us 1200 each and I didn't want to pay that and not have some good photos of the Christ the Redeemer Statue. I wanted to see a few boys from Meio Mundo and I went there today. I got there early and I went to see them. I had the one guy tomcal took nightly 2-3 times for groups and had a great time with him. I then had the massage guy I had a few days back. I thought I was done for the night but I saw this young dark hair twink that I thought was adorable and chatted with him. He had a few piercings that I like and I asked 2 of the other guys I have been with a few times if they wanted a 4 way and they all jumped at the chance. It was a fun 4 way but the one boy (left in photo) was a bit Sadomasochistic. The other guys were a bit taken aback by this. I think they would have been OK with it had the boy not been so unbelievably new to it and not really great at reading signs. LOL That said, I still had fun with them. As the 4 way made the 6th guy in the sauna and my money was drawing to a close, I headed to the hotel early. I had a friend waiting for me at 9PM that will stay all night and celebrate my midnight birthday with me. I just love a good midnight sexcapade.

  6. I post on 2 message boards. I own one of them. I once owned this one and it is a topic which I love and I continue to post. When I am in Thailand, I post much more often as I think others like to know what is going on there. When I am not in LOS, I love to read posts about others experiences there. For example, my friend firecat is posting his adventures for the month. I check in each day to see if he has added something. I also love reading commentary from members on this board as there are some really intelligent members who have a different way of looking at issues. I have never been the smartest guy around but I do love many of the discussions on this board. For example, the ones about the emperor of Japan recently. I learn a great deal from members on this board. I once posted on all the gay Thailand boards but I have given that up as I was blocked on 2 of them after not logging in for long time and I don't have time to keep up with all of them. So, I chose this one and love reading the threads here. Addictive? No, it doesn't take time away from things I need to be doing. That said, I did not have Internet the last 20 hours and I hated I could not check in with things.
  7. I concur with Khun Firecat. K Bank is the best IMHO and I have one with it, Bangkok Bank and one other bank.
  8. I don't think that is fair as the majority of porn that is made is NOT gay porn and it is mostly all bareback.
  9. I was chatting with my friend tomcal the a few days back about Prague and Barcelona. I love the areas and want to go back and visit this year. I had a bit of free time last night so I thought I'd share some of my thoughts about EU with you guys. The Official Boy Toy Guide To Vising Europe One of the great things about being gay is that we have a lot more disposable income than our breeder buddies. After all, we don't have to worry about buying diapers for years every time a condom breaks! And, we don't have wives who insist on spending money on curtains instead of cock rings. Which means that we get to travel much more often than they do. And we get to travel on our own, which means we get to have great sexcations. Now, there are tons of guides out there for guys who are traveling to Asia about how to deal with their customs so you don't come off as a Western imperialist dog. But, there aren't that many guides about how to fit into European culture. Many people think that because most Americans are descended from Europeans, they have similar customs to ours and we can just do what we normally do. But, that's simply not the case. There is more than just a language difference between Americans and Europeans. There are also cultural differences and getting to understand them will help you fit in and make sure you are not perceived as an ugly American. With that in mind, get ready for the Boy Toy Guide To Visiting Europe! The first thing you need to do is lower your voice. Americans speak much, much more loudly than European people do, and speaking in your normal voice will both single you out as an American and make you seem very rude. So, keep your voice down. The second thing to be aware of is that there are topics of conversation that are fully acceptable in America, but not at all acceptable in Europe, the first being that people don't like to talk about their jobs or how much money they make. Asking someone what they do for a living is incredibly rude. Asking them if it pays well is even ruder. Politics and religion are also things to be avoided. Most people in Europe are secular. They already think America is Jesusland, so don't give them any more ammunition. And, most of them are anti-capitalism and anti-imperialism for them, even Obama is far more right wing than any serious political figure in their countries - so anything you say about politics is going to come out as offensively right-wing. Personal body space is also very different in Europe than in America. We Americans tend to assume that we should put several inches of space between us and the people around us. In Europe, they don't have those problems. So, if someone is sitting very close to you in a bar or walking very close to you on the street, they are not being rude; they simply don't have the body distance issues that we have. Everything also moves more slowly in Europe. If you are at a cafe or a restaurant and it seems like it is taking forever for you to be served, that's not laziness or bad service. It's just that nobody is in a rush. Just relax and remember that you are on vacation. The good side of this is that unlike in America, they will not be trying to rush you out the door. If you order a coffee in a cafe, you can stay at your table for two hours reading a book if you'd like you won't be pressured to either order something else or leave. One conversation that you can have safely and that will get cute guys talking to you is football. Not the NFL, but real football, otherwise known as soccer. There are three teams that nearly every male in Europe is willing to talk about Manchester United, Arsenal, and Real Madrid. Just go to the Wikipedia entry for any of those teams, memorize a few details, and you can get any dude in Europe to talk to you. There is a myth that you don't tip in Europe. This is simply not true. You don't tip as much as you would in the United States, but you still should leave something after you get a drink or a meal. Leaving five euros after dinner is fine. Leaving 50 cents after you get a drink is also fine. Neither will break the bank and both will make you look like a good dude. People tend to be much more open about sex and sexuality in Europe than in America. In several countries, infidelity is not only accepted but somewhat expected, as long as everyone is discreet. This means that just because a dude is wearing a wedding ring doesn't mean he won't be up for a little bump and grind if you charm him the right way. And, a dude who just got finished telling you he has a boyfriend may still be very interested in you. You'll find that people tend to eat much later in Europe than in America. In France most restaurants don't open until 8 p.m., and rarely have anyone in them until 9. In Spain people don't really eat dinner until 10 p.m. or later. So, if you are used to eating around 6 or 7, try snacking during the day instead. People in Europe are also much less judgmental about drinking and smoking than we are in America. Making comments about how you hate smoking will get you singled out as a puritan. And, don't be surprised if the people you hang out with drink more than you are used to. Speaking of drinking, if you end up hanging out with anyone from Ireland, Wales or England, there is a round buying system. Generally, if more than two people are hanging out in a bar, one of them will buy a round of drinks. Then, it is expected that at some point in the evening you will buy a round of drinks as well if you don't, you will be considered an asshole. This is true even if there are eight or nine people at the table buy one round for everyone. It will balance out because you'll have eight or nine people buying drinks for you as well. These are just a few tips, but keeping them in mind will help you avoid making the most common cultural blunders, which will make you look good, and, more importantly, more attractive to the boy toy of your choice. So, remember them the next time you visit the old country!
  10. You know my dear, I let you out of my sight for one minute and all the boys that I haven't met come out of the woodwork. LOL I Love Washington. Very sexy! Can't wait to hear about the rest of your night. You already did more by 6PM than most of us do in a month.
  11. You are so eloquent in your choice of words. Today I am headed to the Hippie Faire in Ipanema. It is an arts and crafts festival that has been going on since the 60's. I have often found some great pieces of art there. There is one lady in particular that I have bought about 20 pieces from over the years and if she is there, I'll see if she has some new pieces. Weekends in Brazil are vibrant and fun and exciting! Can't wait.
  12. That is the hotel I am in now. Nice hotel. Great views. Good rooftop pool. Safe area. Lots of little places to eat in the area and it is an easy walk to subway and one of the saunas.
  13. In that case, Rio is definitely the place for you! If you get more questions, please ask. I also suggest you look at vbro.com and some of the other apartment rental places. They are much cheaper than the hotels. However, if you have points, Marriott and Sheraton have hotels here. The easier area is Copacabana or Ipanema. If you go to Barra, it will be too much travel for you first trip. Good luck in your planning and please let me know if I can assist in any way!
  14. My friend Marco and I spent the day at the gay beach in Ipanema and we had a good time. We had lunch at Debassa in Ipanema with my friend tomcal and his date and watched all the boys go to the beach and then we joined them. Tomcal returned to his place for what I guess was more guys. LOL I just relaxed at the beach with Marco. He had several friends at the beach and some of them gave him a few buds of happy smokes and we lit up. We just chilled, relaxed and smoked a bit while enjoying the scenery and the "tranquility" of Rio!

  16. So glad you are enjoying the posts and are intrigued by Brazil. If you have never been to Brazil I have to ask a question. Is you desire to mostly visit the saunas or is it to see and do other things as well? How much culture do you want on your visit? If you want to see really amazing sites, Rio is the city. There are so many things to see and do around the city that will keep you a full schedule. If you prefer the beaches, I'd recommend a few other cites as well. If you want the best sauna experience, I would say you must go to Porto Alegre on a weekend. It is fabulous but not M-T. The sauna there is Thermas Mezzaninu | Rua São Salvador 108 | 51 32737776 | http://www.mezzaninu.net/ Where the boys are beautiful, beautiful boys, every color of the rainbow. The big scene here is the bar area, which I comfortable and big enough that some serious scoping and flirting can happen. The video room isn't the most comfortable but who's here to watch a movie? Decent theme parties as well. This sauna with all the sexy twinky moneyboys has become a favorite of so many. The place is well decorated, clean and very comfortable to spend the afternoon and evening. http://www.boytoy.com/forums/index.php?/topic/13415-porto-alegre-gay-listings/ I would stay F-M there and then Monday - a week or so in Rio. For Rio, there are sauna specials each day so you need to check to see which ones are busy and which ones are not. Ex: Club 117 is closed on Mondays and better not to waste time there. Rio's beaches are amazing and I spent the day with my Brazil overnight guy today and we had a great time. With Ipanema Beach, gay area, you must be careful with ID's as many under 18 will be there and try to get you to take them as they can't get into the saunas. It is not something anyone should ever do in Brazil as legal age is 18 for all. If I would doing a trip, I would fly into Porto Alegre and then Rio. I might even hire a boy to stay with me day and night that speaks the language and that you enjoy. Offer him 250 R (125 USD) per day and he will be thrilled and he will take great care of you. It will also help you find everything you want to see much easier. I would be sure to see some of the sights of the area if you are in Rio as there are many day trips you should do. If you are only coming down for a quick trip, Porto Alegre and Rio are great. If you have more time to spend, try other cities as well. Let me know what you like to do and I'll try to be a bit more specific. Also, I would advise you to ask the question on Boytoy as there are so many there do that quick trips to Rio 10 times a year from USA and I have friends that do this 2 weekends every month. I can't travel that much, but they do it often. Hope this helps.
  17. The Westboro Baptist Church is about to get a big surprise in the form of a new neighbor who plans to give the notoriously anti-gay group a taste of its own medicine. Aaron Jackson, one of the founders of Planting Peace, a multi-pronged charity that has in the past concentrated on rainforest conservation, opening orphanages and deworming programs, bought a house that sits directly across from the church's compound six months ago. On Tuesday, March 19, he and a team of volunteers are painting it to match the gay pride flag. The project -- which the nonprofit is calling the "Equality House" -- is the first in a new campaign Planting Peace plans to wage against the group. Westboro is known for its intimidating tactics of protesting (or threatening to protest) what they refer to as America's pro-gay, anti-God agenda, in close proximity to pride parades, soldier funerals and other events like the Sandy Hook memorial services. "I read a story about Josef Miles, a 10-year-old kid who counter-protested the Westboro Baptist Church by holding the sign that says 'God Hates No One,'" Jackson told The Huffington Post. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/03/19/westboro-equality-house-aaron-jackson-rainbow_n_2906337.html
  18. There is no work going on that should cause any issues. My apologies if things are slow. I did open a ticket at our Hosting company and they can't see any issues. However, to better diagnose the issue, if you have this again, please post in this thread your time you were having the issue and what part of the site. This will help the company find any issues. Thanks for your help with this and again my apologies for any inconvenience.
  19. At the meeting yesterday a shareholder questioned the profitability of Starbucks marriage equality stance by bringing up a boycott being levied against the coffee company by the National Organization for Marriage (NOM), a group adamantly opposed to equal marriage rights. The shareholder referred to NOMs boycott, and said: In the first full quarter after this boycott was announced, our sales and our earringsshall we say politelywere a bit disappointing. CEO Howard Schultz replied that not every decision is an economic decision, and went on to suggest that if shareholders thought their return was not strong enough in the face of opposition for supporting such issues, they could sell their shares. Mr Schultz said: If you feel, respectfully, that you can get a higher return than the 38% you got last year, its a free country. You can sell your shares of Starbucks and buy shares in another company. http://www.pinknews.co.uk/2013/03/22/starbucks-ceo-defends-equal-marriage-backing-and-tells-unhappy-shareholder-to-sell-stock/

  21. This is an excellent question and it is one I don't know the answer to. I have NEVER understood the need for anyone to have more than one handle on a board. I have been running message boards for over 20 years and it is still one thing I don't understand.
  22. Yes, it is the term for short time for sex that is paid. You can even ask a waiter in a regular bar and they understand the word and often are willing to go with you. Sex is very liberal in Brazil and the Club 117 Sauna is next door to a Catholic school. They don't have hang ups about sex or prostitution here. Prostitution is legal as long as between 2 people and a pimp is not involved.
  23. Songkran alcohol ban mulled in a move to reduce deaths during holiday The Alcoholic Beverage Control Committee will on Monday consider whether to issue a ban on the sale of alcohol during the Songkran holiday period, Songkran Pakchokdee, director of the Anti-Alcohol Organisations Network, told The Nation. A ban, aimed at reducing deaths from road accidents over the period, will be proposed by Dr Saman Futrakul, director of the Disease Control Department's Office of Alcoholic Beverage and Tobacco Consumption Control Committee. http://www.nationmultimedia.com/national/Roads-in-Thailand-the-sixth-most-dangerous-30202575.html There is also a great chart on this page. check it out. Makes you wonder about driving during certain holidays and I have known at least 5 Thai boys personally killed in motorcycle accidents.
  24. Well, the word is sauna but there are many places to gather in the sauna. Most clients will wait in a bar area. There are chairs and waiters and food, etc. It is like sitting at Dick's Cafe watching the boys go by but they are all in towels. Most of the saunas also have dark rooms, saunas, showers, etc. Tonight, inside the sauna, there is a big drag show on the stage with gogo boys, etc. It is really hard to describe except that you will feel comfortable in a towel or in street clothes. Last night, there was also a drag show and there were about 10 TS that came in in full attire. They were part of the late night group as after 9PM, they have shows and dancing. It is a sauna but it is also a place to sit and chill. Many order food while they are there and drink lots of booze all night and not even go with the boys. Some will come only for a quick programma. and, you will find everything in between. Does this make sense?
  25. I have enjoyed him a few times. He is quite the personality. Actually, when my overnight guy Marco was coming to the place, he said, "hey, I want you to meet my friend" and he pointed to Diogo. LOL I told him I knew Diogo already. I think he is quiet the popular boy. He is really an amazing programma. I was not going to go with him as he is not the young twinky type I like but he sat down next to me and we chatted and his body is rock hard and he convinced me he would be good. He was excellent and as you said, a real special guy! He is someone I'll go with again as I really had a fantastic time with him!
