OK. Well, I guess I didn't realize that my DVD was more than that. It was a surround sound entertainment system as well and all connected in order to work. Once I got the DVD to working via a HDMI cord, I then had to buy a few other cable cords in order to connect the UBC to the Panasonic DVD player in order for the Surround Sound to work. Mahjongguy told me exactly what to get and I sent the boys to the Tuk Com to buy this. The cords cost 60 baht. Doing this, I have to use multiple remotes in order to get it work perfectly and that is OK with me. I wanted to pick up the surround sound for the election results tomorrow morning.

Tonight my electricity went out for only about 30 min. But, for me, that was an eternity sitting in the dark. I could not find the flashlight or anything else. The electricity going out in India was almost daily even in great hotels. But, now that I am a bit more settled, I am curious what others keep for their places in case of necessity. For sure items that I need to pick up and keep on hand: 1. Candles 2. Internet Sim Card that is fully loaded with money 3. Flashlight 4. Matches 5. Water 6. Cards to play poker with Anyone else have suggestions?

One of the things I love about Thailand is its beauty. There are luscious greens everywhere, beautiful blue skies, golden temples at every corner and vivid orchids and flowers. I love the color of the flowers that are everywhere. So much so, when I first would visit the country, I would go into a flower shop and order 10 or 20 baskets of flowers to be delivered to my hotel so I could smell them 24/7. When I had a house rental by the ocean a few years back, I redecorated the entire garden with some of the most beautiful flowers I had ever seen. Well, I have been here on and off for 10 years now and I still am in awe with the flowers that are always growing. I also love to go to the garden centers to view the new Orchids. Thailand is amazing to me for so many reasons, but I never leave out my love for their flowers.

I did not think about the Mac Mini as the "storage" system for the TV until now. Thanks. This is a great idea for me. I love to watch TV shows and movies and I travel a great deal and I hate tying up my system to download all the stuff I watch. But, dedicating one box to that makes sense and with the new HDMI output it makes it so easy. Why don't they have this for all computers?

I have a nice TV that has speakers throughout the apartment. However, they are not working and the DVD isn't working properly. I am looking for a Thai guy that is good at electronics. Does anyone have any recommendations? Suggestions?

I had a friend in town last month and we don't have the same tastes too often but occasionally we do. We can usually find guys we both like at Funny Boys or Toy Boy. But, he refused to go to Boyz Boyz Boyz with me. I tell him it is a good show. I tell him they have some great gogo boys. He refuses. So, tonight I thought I'd wander over and see the men at this famous showroom. All I have to say is wow, things have changed there since my first visit. It is not the same exciting show as Ms. Jim did and the routines are not as exciting either. While the place looks wonderful and is very comfortable to sit in, the show is just not up to what it once was. I really enjoy the show at Copa and think it is fantastic. I really enjoy the show at X Boys as it is super sexy. Where else in Pattaya can I go for a good show?

I grew up fishing in the Tennessee and the Mississippi River. I love Cat Fish more than just about any food on earth. I also enjoy fishing a bit in Thailand. The boys and I have taken a boat out to the sea several times to go fishing and always enjoy it. It is not quite the same as sitting on a boat with my Papaw in his overalls and chewing tobacco and chatting about where to throw my line. But, when I get to fish in Thailand, even for a short period of time, I always think back to my time with family and reeling in that big ole catfish and having my mom cook it up in a big back iron pot.
