Salt and Pepper has been open most of the week. They did close for Saturday and Sunday this week but will reopen on Monday. The owners are great people and they did suffer a tragedy and trying to cope with that the best they can. They are amazing people who run a great place.

I totally agree. Firecat and I were having breakfast this AM and we were actually talking about the show. We both love it and think it has great potential. Plus, the lead actor is hot! We were talking about "super powers" and I don't think he has any. I think he was taught to be extraordinary and nothing is "special" that someone can't learn. Am I wrong?

I am speaking of USA. I am a Socialist at heart and I believe in supporting many things. But, I don't like the tax code or those trying to play with it. I would love to see fully funded programs for art and music from the government and from individuals. But, I do not like to see people's taxes lowered based on their gifts to charity. I'd love to do away with the tax code completely and base everything on a flat rate. No exemptions. No exceptions if you make over a certain amount of income. Sorry, but that does include art and music as well as churches. There are too many ways to gain the system in the USA and I'd love to see it all disappear.

There is an app on the Apple App Store called IPS Buddy. I use it to log into many sites online. I think it is free and I use the info for boytoy.com/forums and log in and tested this. I also tested with Safari and it worked for me. Be sure you use the right URL for the forums and you log in from the main page and it should work. If you are accessing a different way, please let me know exactly what you are using to view the site and I'll try to figure this out.

The election is very close and IMHO, a true toss up. I have predicted Romney would win with my friends as I know how much big money he has behind him but I also know both camps have spent near 1 billion each on this election. INSANE. It kills me to see this. I am hoping for an Electoral tie and a Constitutional crisis so we can get enough support to do away with the Electoral College. And, this is possible with the make up of this election. As an American, my vote is not important as I don't live in one of the few swing states.

I am in love!

One of the things I really love about Thailand is the ability to drive my motorcycle. It feels like freedom to drive in the wind by the sea. Of course, I have a scooter and in Thailand there are many kinds of motorbikes on the streets. I saw this one and could really picture myself riding it. LOL

A good friend heard that I was seeking the best breakfast in Pattaya and he offered to introduce me to a place that he likes. The place is called Tara Court and it is in the Pratumnak area of Pattaya. It is very easy to find if you are headed from Pattaya to Jomtien, you turn right at the red light and go down a few soi’s and it is on the left hand side and right on the main road after Soi 5. The place was busy and they seem to attract a nice crowd. They have a nice menu and part of it included pancakes that I heard were good so I wanted to try them. The pancakes were yummy. They cost 100 baht and they come in a plate of 2 large pancakes. If you are with a friend, you may want to share this. I also ordered the small breakfast and that had some ham, sausage, eggs, toast, juice and coffee. It was 110 baht. So, the prices were very reasonable. The food was very good and I really enjoyed the place. I also thought the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The prices are great and you do get a nice cup of coffee. It was nice to sit and chat with friends over a nice cup of coffee and they never rushed us out and bothered us. I definitely recommend the pancakes. Good food at good rates. I give this a 3.7 out of 5. My highest grade to date! Today, the boys and I made our way to the Rich Man Poor Man Restaurant in Jomtien. It is right off of the beach at Soi 9. It is a great place to eat and I have enjoyed my food there every time. The owner is American and he has some great offerings including meatloaf and spaghetti with meatballs. He has daily specials until they run out. I don't often love places in Thailand that "try" to serve American cuisine. Some people on this board do not like when I cuss or use bad language. So, please don't read any further. This place is fucking fantastic. The food is great. The desserts are great. You can't go wrong with this place. I had a cheeseburger and it was very tasty. The boys had the pork chops and spaghetti with meatballs. Both loved it. We were in the accompaniment of a friend and he had the meat loaf. It was great. We all tasted their soups and between the 4 of us we ordered 4 and loved them. The boys normally do not like farang food and they loved it. Apple Pie to die for! Pumpkin Pie is so tasty. All in all, this was just a great meal and I love going to this place. Prices are reasonable and the soups were about 110 baht each and the pork chops were about 230 baht. If you are in Pattaya and you crave American Food, this place is great. Highly recommended. The only downside for some is that they allow smoking. We go at lunch and it has never been an issue. However, if you can't stand any smoke inside don't go there. If you are OK with a little smoke, you are crazy to miss the fine food here! Expected post from Bkkguy: Well, you obviously don’t know what Thais think about animals as you post only about this one animal your BF fed. Does he help the stray dogs in the street? I didn’t think so. So, you should know what the Thais think of animals before you post. Why would you not learn what the ancient texts say about animals before you post? Just because the weeds he is feeding the buffalo is green does not make it grass. It just means you were duped again you ignorant farang. It is people like you that visit this country and spoils it for us, the intellectually elite. A buffalo? Can you show me where the dictionary calls this animal a buffalo? It has 2 horns, but that is not definitive. Come on Michael, get off you ass and research this shit before you post it here. Jk bkkguy. I mean it only in joking.

As usual, HeyGay, you were right. I should just place you on speed dial when I go to a bar to check the status. We'll call it the LMTU Hotline for Horny Farangs Look for Hot Alpha Males.

One of the things I love about Thai people is that they love their animals. I have seen too many times a snake near the beach and I tell the boyfriend to kill it and he walks over, picks it up and walks back a few hundred feet and lets it go. OMG I say. But, they are kind to animals and they love to feed the elephants and water buffalo. This pretty creature looked hungry so the BF purchased some grass to give to it. All I could think was, “damn, this would make for a great dinner.” But, I guess that did not even cross his mind.

Sorry for the Pick Me. Pick Me. above. It was a bit rude. First welcome to the site. I see you are from Italy. I love the country and I am sure you will love Thailand. There is so much to see and do in Thailand and it totally depends on your budget and your desires. If you like gay areas, the big cities are full of nightlife. However, you are cute and will be fine anywhere. If you are an adventurer, you should look into Chiang Mai, Hua Hin and the Islands. If you have time, you must go to Cambodia to see Siam Reap. It is amazing. We are most happy to help you in anyway you want. Please tell us what you are looking for and we will advice you on what to see. And, please forgive me for drooling in the beginning. I don't think there should be any tax exemption for anyone unless they are totally non profit and even then I would love to see this disappear.

Pick me! Pick me! I'll be happy to show you around Thailand if the pic is legit. Lets talk. PM me here!

Why do most boys from Sunee never move to Boyztown?
TotallyOz replied to TotallyOz's topic in Gay Thailand
I am not sure the off fees are less in Sunee now. Drinks are about the same in the gogo bars at 130-160 bath and off fees for the bars are 300-350 in Sunee. I say this only to say that I don't think the cost of the gogo bars in Sunee are less now. Maybe I am wrong but I just don't see it. I do think many good points were brought up. But, the truth is many tourists will not go to Sunee and there is money to be made there. Most expats will go to both areas but not the 1 and 2 week tourists. They may venture into most areas but they spend most of their time in Boyztown. Am I wrong? I do think Sunee has a bad reputation but I find the boys there just as sweet and amazing as other ones in Boyztown or beyond. However, they are a bit tougher for the most part and they don't take as much shit and they may be prone to fight a bit more. -
I think this is a great idea but agree with you that the traffic in Bangkok is pretty dangerous. I have ridden in Bangkok many times and even on a trip from Chiang Mai to Phuket and the only day I felt scarred for my life was in Bangkok and there were several hundred riders that day. Still we had big trucks in and out of us and the madness was crazy. I do know of many groups that do bike tours of the city and friends who have been on these rides loved them but I don't think those rides are for the beginning riders. However, I give them props for making a step in the right direction.

I have yet to see when it is so slow in Pattaya, and esp. Sunee, why many of the boys never move over to the bars in Boyztown. On every night I have been here, Boyztown has a bit more customers and more offs then the bars in Sunee. It would seem like a logical move for many of the boys to move to the area that has more business for them. Yet, it rarely happens. Why? In Rio De Janerio, there is a sauna called Meio Mundo and it is in the central location of the city where all the boats come in from other areas. Most guys from some areas start working at that sauna and they charge there lower rates. The place is not as nice as other saunas and they seem to have a good amount of customers but not ones that pay the big money. Most boys work there until they get some good information on where to make more money and they then move over to Club 117 or another larger sauna. Past this, the really smart ones then end up going to Barcelona or somewhere else in Europe. They tend to go as far as they can do in order to maximize their profits. However, this type of process happens very little with the guys in Sunee. Why? What is it about this area that keeps the boys there and not moving forward? (forward meaning to an area where they can make more money)

I had drinks at 4 gogo bars in Sunee last night and stepped into 2 others. All were pretty slow. I was told it may have been a Buddha holiday but not sure. What I do know for sure was that the night was slow for the bars. Crazy Dragon was really quite with only 2 guys on stage and 3 sitting with one customer. I was there before 10PM so perhaps things picked up a little after I left but usually by 9:30 in this area, you get some good action.

Today, I went to my favorite place in Pattaya. It is a bar called Nice Boys. The boys are typically on the rougher side and Firecat doesn't like the place too much. So, when he told me he was going to stay in tonight, I headed right over. I went to about 4 or so bars before I got to Nice Boys and I had a drink. I really wanted a massage tonight and I took 2 guys for the massage. The drinks cost us 150 baht and the off fee was 350 baht. The tip was a minimum of 1k baht. Both boys were sweet and friendly and gave a great massage and a very happy ending. It was a great way to end a night in Thailand. Sexy boys, a great massage and a release that felt like a volcano errupting. The boy on the left is 20 years old and the one on the right is 22 years old.
