Expats are included in Thailand’s vaccination plan
TotallyOz replied to TotallyOz's topic in Gay Thailand
https://www.khaosodenglish.com/news/crimecourtscalamity/2021/05/06/officials-say-foreigners-in-thailand-will-get-vaccine-jabs-someday/ Notice no dates are ever given for lowly expats. -
I listened to the live broadcast and heard this with my own ears. And, I know no one speaking from a government podium would ever lie to me. Article: Expats are included in Thailand’s vaccination plan, a spokesperson from the Centre for Covid-19 Situation Administration said today, clarifying recent reports that said Thais have priority in the first phase of inoculations. The spokesperson says comments were taken out of context and, in fact, foreigners have already been included in the first phase of vaccinations. We’d like to confirm that Thailand’s vaccination strategy is based on ensuring accessibility to all those who require it, regardless of their nationality. We’d like to reiterate that Thailand continues to include foreign residents in its vaccination program and some foreign residents have been inoculated in the first phase already. A Ministry for Public Health spokesperson had recently told the Bangkok Post that doses are currently reserved for Thais who are at high risk of infection or who are living in an area where there is a severe outbreak. He said foreigners need to wait until there is a clear vaccine policy announced by the government, according to the recent report in the Bangkok Post. The CCSA spokesperson says comments made on the vaccinations for foreigners were “taken out of context in the media.” https://thethaiger.com/news/national/expats-are-included-in-thailands-vaccination-plan-phuket-to-start-registration https://fb.watch/5jihvzZMcF/

I have had several people ask me where the information is from the old Male Escort Review site. They are all on this site. They are not visible to the public. You need to be a logged in member with at least 10 posts and they will magically appear. All were preserved and that forum can be added to by anyone at anytime.

The minister announced yesterday that there are no plans for expats to get jabs. Interesting that the day before this, I got a message from a friend who works at Parliament who said private hospitals could jab anything they want every soon. But, is this article a contradiction? https://www.bangkokpost.com/thailand/general/2110211/thais-not-expats-get-jab-priority?

Sāo Paulo and Rio Hotels Guest Policy
TotallyOz replied to DutchDork's topic in Latin America Men and Destinations
I always brought different guests every day. The JW in Rio was the only issue and it was when I was bringing in a group of 3 or more. I had forgotten that. They don't like group sex I think. -
I was testing you Lady Persephone.

Sāo Paulo and Rio Hotels Guest Policy
TotallyOz replied to DutchDork's topic in Latin America Men and Destinations
I stayed in the Intercontinental Hotel in both Rio and Sao Paulo (Rio now another brand) as well as the JW Marriott in Rio and the Renaissance in Sao Paulo and never any issues at all. -
Now, but his days in 24 were amazing. My Thai BF use to hear the music and say: Jack saves the world? to which I would say, YES.

Bread Machines and Coffee Makers in Thailand: Where and How Much?
TotallyOz replied to TotallyOz's topic in Gay Thailand
Villa Market seems to keep the bread machine mix. I bought about 20 of them and glad I did. -
Can't blame them.

Bread Machines and Coffee Makers in Thailand: Where and How Much?
TotallyOz replied to TotallyOz's topic in Gay Thailand
During Covid, I found the use of a bread machine wonderful. Every week I cook one or two loafs of fresh bread. I still love the Beer Cheese bread. But, I've also tried many other things. I found this great site for some flour and kitchen supplies. https://www.schmidt.co.th/en// -
Atlantico Copacabana is a favorite of so many on this board. It is located right in the heart of the city and in walking distance to one of the best saunas in the world. The rates are low and the breakfast is good. There was even a pool party there many years ago with many members here. https://www.gayguides.com/listing/atlantico-copacabana/

Olympia Dukakis, the self-assured, raspy-voiced actress who often played world-weary and worldly wise characters, and who won an Academy Award for her role as just such a woman in “Moonstruck,” died on Saturday at her home in Manhattan. She was 89. Her death was announced by her brother, the actor Apollo Dukakis, who said she had been in hospice care. Ms. Dukakis was 56 and an East Coast stage veteran of three decades when she starred in John Patrick Shanley’s “Moonstruck” (1987), a romantic comedy about a young Italian-American widow, Loretta Castorini (played by Cher), whose life is turned upside down when she falls in love with her fiancé’s brother (Nicolas Cage). Ms. Dukakis stole scene after scene as Rose, Loretta’s sardonic mother, who saw the world clearly and advised accordingly. Do you love him, Loretta?” she asks her daughter, referring to the dull fiancé. When Loretta says no, Rose replies: “Good. When you love them, they drive you crazy, because they know they c The role won Ms. Dukakis the Oscar for best supporting actress (Cher also won) and a host of other prizes in 1988 — the same year her cousin Michael Dukakis won the Democratic presidential nomination. The award led to more film roles. She played a catty Southern widow in the mostly female ensemble cast of “Steel Magnolias” (1989); the mother of Kirstie Alley’s character in the three “Look Who’s Talking” movies (1989-93); the pot-growing transgender San Francisco landlord Anna Madrigal, from 1993 to 2019, in the four television mini-series made from Armistead Maupin’s “Tales of the City” stories; and Frank Sinatra’s mother, Dolly, in the 1992 television movie “Sinatra.” https://www.nytimes.com/2021/05/01/movies/olympia-dukakis-dead.html?action=click&module=In Other News&pgtype=Homepage

Authorities are calling for immediate quarantine and Covid-19 testing for 157 passengers of 7 flights to and from Phuket in the last few weeks. Passengers on these 7 domestic flights, mostly between Phuket and Bangkok, are considered at risk after Covid-19 infections were found on each flight. Seating charts were released with seat numbers and rows where Covid-19 infections and at-risk passengers were seated on each Phuket flight, but they are urging anyone who was on these flights to report and get tested. They request passengers to go to the nearest hospital to their home for treatment. People are also urged to call 094-593-8875 or 062-243-5116 for more information or any questions. https://thethaiger.com/coronavirus/urgent-call-for-testing-covid-19-on-7-phuket-flights

Sriracha Tiger Zoo in Chonburi province posted on its Facebook page that it was closing down permanently from Friday, 24 years since it opened. The management will hold a meeting with employees next Monday to explain the reasons for going out of business as well as discuss other issues, said Wasan Temsiriphong, the zoo’s managing director. https://www.nationthailand.com/in-focus/40000443 I spent many a day here with boys from Pattaya. Some really good memories and one case of the worst food poisoning I have ever had (thanks to trying, crocodile food, tarantula, and some delicacies I never heard of). Here are a few photos from over the 20 years.

This is one of my favorite hotels. I have stayed there dozens of times and never had a problem bringing someone to my room. However, I do book for 2 and do not mind registering someone if needed. The rooms are small but the staff is excellent. https://www.gayguides.com/listing/jw-marriott-hotel/

The Sofitel Rio de Janeiro Ipanema is a luxury hotel directly overlooking Ipanema Beach. It is the center of gay life in Rio and is a beautiful hotel to stay at in Rio. The rates are a bit high, but well worth it for luxury. https://www.gayguides.com/listing/sofitel-rio-de-janeiro-ipanema/
