Thanks @Lonnie I moved it here.

He has his own show about organized crime. This episode was his introduction to the new show. I thought he was a good character and I really liked him. I am impressed the show continues this long. It has had a very long shelf life.

It is sad that only the flight attendant was the one outed and fired. What a double standard. (clearly, neither should have been fired) I have been to many places in China and love the gay guys there. There are also tons of them that visit Bangkok. I wish this guy the best. I am not sure how far this will go but I hope he wins and creates more change in that society.

I am very amused!

Probably not a suprise to anyone! I love this guy! When it comes on anywhere (and I mean anywhere) I stand up and ride a pony around the room. Depending on the situation, it can be funny, annoying, or sad. I always find it funny though.

And, his Satan shoes. He said: "I spent my entire teenage years hating myself because of the s**t y'all preached would happen to me because i was gay," he wrote. "So i hope u are mad, stay mad, feel the same anger you teach us to have towards ourselves." https://edition.cnn.com/style/article/lil-nas-x-mschf-satan-nike-shoes/index.html

It looks like this site is down. Has anyone else been able to use this recently?

In NYC, the West Side Club and the East Side Club were always busy when I lived there. There was one on Wall Street but I forgot the name.

I agree. I would not have even known they were cops.

@Tomcal is most of Sao Paulo shut down? I was reading in the NY Times today about the President of Brazil and how he really botched up Covid19. It was a fascinating read. -
Where is Kate and Leo when you need them?

That is very sad news. RIP

To be clear, this is a forum to learn and share and experience life (esp gay life). It is not a place for multiple banned users to try to return. Patience is abundant but once we determine that a user is a returned banned member, we remove all content from that user. It has been that way in the past, it is that way in the present, and it will continue to be that way in the future. We have ZERO interest in banned users returning. People cannot be something other than themselves and when we see the similarity, or a common IP (yes, we look often), it will be time to say goodbye. This message board is free for all. We will always keep it that way. But, the price for admission is decency and treating others with respect.

The Bar at the Follies Bergere
TotallyOz replied to PeterRS's topic in Theater, Movies, Art and Literature
I do love that painting. I had an art history professor in the 1980's share it with me and I thought it was fabulous. He sparked an interest in art for me and I have been a lover ever since. Growing up in Alabama the biggest art thing we had was a bluegrass festival. When I went away to college, I was immersed in art from the the museums of Washington, D.C., New York, Boston, Baltimore, Philly, London, Paris. I was able to tour London on a literary tour with my college and was first introduced to musicals. But, in the day, we spent time on museum scavenger hunts. My professor was an art historian and British Literature professor. She shared 3 weeks of music, art, and literature with us. One of the nights, we saw Ian McClellan in Richard III and he went to a pub with us as they were friends. This was shortly after he was knighted and was the first openly gay actor I knew. I believe this was the early 90s. On that trip, I saw this painting by Manet. I do not remember where I saw it at but we went to a different museum each day for 3 weeks and then musicals at night. I think this was the trip I saw the roller skating musical. I know it was the trip I saw Miss Saigon (more than once) before it came to USA. Thank you for bringing up this amazing painting and so many wonderful memories. One quick one: I shared a room with a girl for the trip. We were best friends. And, she was happy I didn't try to take advantage of her. LOL If she could only see me now. -
Falcon And The Winter Soldier Is Great!
TotallyOz replied to BiBottomBoy's topic in Theater, Movies, Art and Literature
Well, I certainly enjoyed the show. I think it is going to be really good. Of the actors, I liked Danny Ramirez. BTW: thanks for the heads up about this. I didn't know about it and glad I now know. -
Yes, odd policy. But, the way things seem to play out in LOS is that they take a dart and throw at the dart board and see what sticks. Will this stick?

He was impressive. I saw him perform in NYC many times and loved listing to him. RIP

One of the victims sons started a Gofundme page and raised a lot of money. Just reading through it, it seems the Asian American community is rallying behind them. I don't quiet get why anyone who disclosed they used marijuana in the past is an issue? Do they want people to lie? Why is this even an issue today? Biden's camp needs to move into 2021. https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/2021/03/19/jen-psaki-says-5-staffers-no-longer-employed-over-marijuana-use-policy/4764283001/
