What is typical in Sunee is you buy a shop and pay "good will" to the owner of the lease. You then get a 3 year lease with Miss Sunee. The "upfront" money is the right to have that business. So, in other words, if you luck into a shop with no upfront money, you may ask 1 million baht down the road to turn your lease over to someone else. I enjoy Sunee and I don't think it will close in 18 months. But, I don't think it will stand the test of time with the Arabs surrounding it and the lack of tourists visiting.

Do you honestly think they will give their views? Come on, if true, they will deny it as they won't be able to sell. If not true, they will still deny it. IMHO, there is no other answer they can give that would benefit them.

Totally agree! I was almost suckered into this condo with big promised. I am glad I had the common sense not to trust those I met who promised me I could trust them. I'd be out hundreds of thousands of dollars and I'd never live next to Elton. IMHO, this thread has gone way off topic. We had a few recent questions about this on member's profiles. I thought I'd bring it up to the top again so others can comment.

I have been working out every day for a bit trying to get in shape for an event this fall. I work at the same gym and usually early morning. There is one guy that is obviously gay (as I am) and we flirt with out eyes every day. This has been going on for 6 weeks. Today, I was in the jacuzzi and he came in and we chatted. The gym is REALLY dead in the AM's and I am usually in the jacuzzi by myself. He asked about my boyfriend as he sees him with me from time to time. We chatted a long time and then went to the steam room. One thing led to another and we ended up having sex. It was great and it was a much needed release but this gym is kind of high end and I'd be thrown out of the place if they found us. Passion hits when passion hits and we did the dirty. I didn't think much about the door opening until..... Well, it didn't. We were able to have fun and no one disturbed us but it was risky. If you were in the same position, would you get down to business with a cute young guy in the sauna of your gym?

I have many but I guess this is the one that brings a tear to my eye every time.

I have been strung out on the beach in a hammock and I sleep like a baby. I always just thought it was the comfort of being on the beach, sun blazing and the wind rocking me. Peace. Scientists have now said that the gentle sway of the hammock kick starts our brain and induces us to better sleep. I am sure new swaying beds are coming soon. I just hope they are better than the vibrating bed I once got in a cheap hotel when I was 16 looking to hook up with another guy. A man in North Carolina robbed a bank in order to get medical coverage. He handed the teller a note asking for 1.00 US. He then sat on a sofa waiting for the police to arrive. Sad that it takes something so drastic for someone to get the medical help they need. Also sad the prisoners have better coverage than the majority of Americans. I saw this a while ago. IMHO, the best way to spice up a gogo bar is to teach the boys how to dance and tell them they need to move their body when on stage. I hate to watch a dead fish on stage and that is so often the case at many bars now.

I have agreed with you on many levels. I too think Pattaya is good for short stays. But, even when in Bangkok, I think of Pattaya. What about Chiang Mai? I love it there and think it would be a nice middle ground.

I always have Thai guys I know say that Thai food is similar to Mexican food. Being a lover of all things Mexican, I tell them that is not the case. But, I can't seem to explain the difference other than Mexican food is more peppers and Thai food is not. Anyone have a better way to explain the difference?

There was a recent thread about the prices in the grocery store in Siam Paragon. I go there weekly to buy food and I always buy an assortment of natural organic nuts. The prices for these things are horrible. I went to Emporium this week and they were the same. In fact, the ladies from both places dress the same and seem to all look like they are from the same country. If you go to these places: 1. Where are these ladies from? I assume an Arab country but not sure. 2. Why are these prices to crazy? I buy Almonds and Walnuts and can't find Walnuts many places.
