I have done good with Delta/NWA but I am moving away from them as I always used miles to upgrade to First Class and now it is costing almost 4k to use the miles for International travel. I have told too many agents they must be joking. I am a lost puppy now and not sure what airline I'll spend money on other than Thai. However, my friend is Concierge Key with American and they pick him up in a limo at EVERY airport in the world and shuffle him to his gate, past security and checks. It is quite a nice life he has.

It is always fun to go back to Pattaya for an evening now that I am staying in Bangkok for a bit. The boys and I decided to go there yesterday for the evening to do some shopping, eat and go to a birthday bash at Nice Boys. I promised the BF a new cell phone for his birthday and I only buy my cell phones from New Wave in Tuk Com shopping center. The reason is I have a good relationship with them and I know should anything happen to the phone, they will stand behind it. Having purchased far more phones in Thailand than I can count, I feel that the extra ride to Pattaya is worth it for me to get good service, good prices and guaranteed support. After that we went to Mr. Z's Salt and Pepper restaurant. The food there is great and the prices are reasonable. The service is always great and I just love the entire experience. When the boys and I headed there yesterday, I asked them where they wanted to eat and all of us were unanimous, Salt and Pepper in Day Night 2. For those that visit Pattaya, this place is a must visit for everyday fast service served with a smile. The party as Nice Boys was fun and enjoyable. I always like a party and Beer's parties are always fun. The boys had at least 5 beers there and then another beer from one more bar. So, on the way back to Bangkok, a few stops were necessary for them to relieve their need to pee. All in all, a great evening spent with good friends and good company!

Nice Boys has a nice crowd in Sunee Plaza last night. I got there a little after 8 and it was slow but the music got louder as the night went by and the stage kept getting oodles of sexy boys. Lesson 4: Gay Thailand is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you are going to get. When you are in a bar and the special boy makes eye contact with you and you have fallen for the sexy smile, the sweet lips and the 6 pack abs, many will ask what they are able to do in bed. Most boys will say "up to you" and leave it at that. I always delve deeper to know exactly what they will and will not do in bed. If the entire package turns you on, and you take him off, don't get upset if he dresses a bit more feminine that you expected or a bit more thuggy. You will most likely have a good time with the boy and if you just give it a shot, it will be OK. It is easy to get caught up in the gay, straight, ladyboy, etc terminology. In the end, don't worry about what they are. All you need to know is if they make you happy and that is it. My first trip to Bangkok, I met a boy at Future Boys in Bangkok. He was the right look for me and he was 19. I took him off for a month for traveling with me and a friend from the USA. My friend was a bottom. Lesson 3: Don't be upset Boy Special lies to you, be upset you can't trust him any longer. The relationships that starts when money is involved usually entails lies. Most boys will tell you what they think you want to hear. Rule 1: Forget all the BS lies for the first 6 months and make sure each time you tell them that you like them for who they are and they can trust you. The first time you ask me for money for them, you are gone. " If someone that you have proven your loyalty to keeps lying to you, they will lie to you forever and about anything. The more lies that happen, the more you are going to be unable to trust them. When these lies happen, you need to decide if you can deal with living with someone you can't trust or perhaps you decide that trusting him is not that important to you. In either case, you need to come to terms with what the future will hold and lies will be a part of it. How you handle those lies is totally up to you. I tell every boy I am with long term that I'll never lie to them. If they always tell me the truth, I'll never be angry. While I'd like to say this works, it doesn't. Lies still creep in. There is always an excuse about how their mother made them, their friends told them or they didn't want to hurt me. But, in the end, the lies always hurt more. Decide in advance how you will deal with it. I have been saying that for a long time. Boyztown has been on the decline for years and only 2 bars I have seen are willing to try new things to change: Wild West and Happy Bar. If they can't change, they are going to die and they seem unwilling to change. I agree with you on Sunee and we have discussed this in the past. Sunee is full of expats and that is a steady flow and Boyztown is more tourists. But, there are groups in Pattaya that will only go to one area and not the other. On my recent stay in Pattaya, I went to Boyztown several times and was disappointed every time. They have too many bars and not enough boys. As LMTU would say, fill a bar with sexy boys and the customers will come. Have reasonable prices and a fun atmosphere and the bar will be successful. I can't count the number of times I have been to Boyztown where the boys looked like they hated being on stage and had rather be anywhere else on earth.

Brazil is a country that has vast resources: oil, gas, ethanol, bio diesel and uranium. They have one of the largest economies in the world and the land mass is also one of the largest. They have made great strides in the last 15 years and they seem to keep going. They were not as affected by the world economic crisis as most countries (but they are going to start doing home loans with low collateral which will create issues). The thing they lack the most is a good military which seems to be required to be a "superpower". I don't see this happening anytime soon. They have alliances with many powerful nations and they have not had the need for a large military. However, I would not rule them out. If they keep going forward for the next 20 years, they will overtake most countries above them in many ways. Beyond that, the guys there at HOT. So, IMHO, that makes them a superpower like no other!
