  1. Phuket leads all of Thailand in the amount of land held by foreigners, with up to 90 per cent of prime beachfront land being illegally held through Thai nominees, claims one of the country
  2. Thank you so much for sharing this. Jim was a great guy and he lived a fine life. He told me stories about riding his motorbike around Utah many years ago. I have some land not too far from where he lived most of his life and his stories were always interesting.
  3. I don't want to answer for Jason, but I will chime in with my own thoughts. Gossip is not only in Pattaya but everywhere. However, I have been to almost 100 countries and travel over 200,000 miles every year. I always get involved in the gay scene where I go. There is no place I have ever been (including Palm Springs, PTown, WeHo and Fire Island) which the gossip is as prevalent at Pattaya. Pattaya beats them all but about 5000 percent.
  4. It seems like this case is nearing the gutter. If that is the case, and I am not sure at this point in time, I am very disappointed in NYC's District Attorney's office. Having went to law school in NYC and most of my friend still practice there and some are DA's, I honestly would have thought they would have done due diligence with this case. He is very high profile. If this does not pan out, IMHO, heads need to roll!
  5. Yes, that is what I meant. Sorry.
  6. I have always enjoyed reading Dodger's trip reports on various sites. They are not appearing on our friend GayButton's site. Take time and read it when you have time. This is Dodger's latest trip report from a long visit to Thailand and his experiences in gay Pattaya! http://gaybuttonthai.com/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=3098
  7. A few more Brazilian lads! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BkBqCCXVAqM
  8. "Presidents lead. They take principled stands, based on their values and convictions, and then they work to create a better world. And this president promised his LGBT supporters on the campaign trail that he would be their "fierce advocate." We took him at his word." http://www.huffingtonpost.com/robin-mcgehee/fierce-from-the-sidelines_b_886695.html?ref=fb&src=sp#sb=1064502,b=facebook
  9. Every cinema at Siam has different seating and different prices. It is important to know these if you want a good seat. I go there often and will start to make a list of all the options. Today: I went to Theater 6. It is a large theater that has 3 different kinds of seats. Paragon Chair - The back row is loveseats that are VERY comfortable. Privilege Chair - Rows A-C are VIP leather seats that have their own armrests. Premium Chair -The rest are comfortable and nice as well. These are the smaller of the 3 types in this theater and are regular USA type chairs.
  10. Have you seen the line at Krispy Kreme every day? It is crazy!
  11. haha. No rescue needed. Took 2 of my boys today to see Transformers and we all enjoyed it. Great action and visual effects. The movie took over 9 of the halls in a 14 hall theater.
  12. Great question. Wow. Really interesting. I do love my job and I enjoy it. When I was a young kid, my minister told me to do what you love and the money will follow. He said people that love their job tend to be successful in it and then they move up fast and make money. I don't think he thought I'd be a porn guy, but hey, it was 35 years ago!
  13. They actually want us down there. This is from their tourism board. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uV_y3v6SJRg

  15. LOL Thanks. You made my day!

    GAY BLOGS

Khun BaoBao, I have always enjoyed your blog and think it is excellent! I hope that you continue for a long time! I also hope that Shamless Mack's returns soon.
  17. Another great NYT article on the New York law as well as the impact this may have on national laws and Constitutional challenges. http://www.nytimes.com/2011/06/28/us/politics/28doma.html?_r=1
  18. I heard one bar in Chiang Mai had a customer named Bob that went for a drink at the bar one night. He got so drunk that he ended up banging the bartender right on the bar. The bartender did not want to loose his job so he continued mixing drinks while the pounding was underway. (Health officials have declined comment on whether or not any unforeseen liquids were mixed with the expected liquids) Bob, being a rambunctious character then took on the entire waiter crew on the stage. This infuriated the gogo boys when then joined in on the shenanigans. Needless to say, all hell broke loose (not the only thing loose that night). The end result was the owner of the bar closed for the night and decided he was done with Thailand and customers who feel they had a right to do whatever they wanted in his bar. Bob (not his real name according to my spies) then bought the bar and lived happily ever after. At least that is the way I heard the story the other night sitting at the Corner Bar in Pattaya!
  19. A good article in the NYT about what this means for the Defense of Marriage Act and the problems that have now been brought to the forefront. http://www.nytimes.com/2011/06/28/us/politics/28doma.html?_r=1
  20. I think I was pretty clear in my posts in the other thread. No posting of gossip is acceptable. It may well be posted within the board rules but I hope that posters take it upon themselves to keep it to themselves.
  21. The Green Lantern - while getting panned by almost all, I enjoyed it. I like the lead actor and thought the movie was pretty to watch. Not a great movie but fun to watch. Super 8 - I wasn't sure what this was about until I saw it. I did like the movie and it was intense a few times. I thought the ending was great and the love story (young kids) was sweet. X Men: First Class - Well, I love the X Men series. I liked this one as well and was glad I went to see it. Remember, I am currently in Thailand so it is hard to find really good independent films here. The only thing that seems to come to Thailand are the big pictures. When I was in NYC, I love the variety of good movies. I don't get that here.
  22. Nice. I have only heard amazing things about Sao Paulo's pride parade. In Brazil today: Brazil judge OKs country's first gay marriage http://www.miamiherald.com/2011/06/27/2287957/brazil-judge-approves-countrys.html I wonder if Tomcal has his sights on someone down there?
  23. I love quotes. I especially love sexy ones. Have any to share with the other members at Male Escort Review? “Fuck me badly once, shame on you. Fuck me badly twice, shame on me.” Samatha Jones - Sex in the City and "I believe that sex is one of the most beautiful, natural, wholesome things that money can buy." -Steve Martin
  24. Looks like she is ready to take on Obama. What do you think? Has she got what it takes to get the Republican nomination? http://edition.cnn.com/2011/POLITICS/06/27/bachmann.2012/index.html?hpt=hp_t2
  25. Perhaps it is I don't make fun of people or their names when posting. You do. Sorry Bob, I guess it went over my head. I thought Geezer was stating that the only things he has heard in his group is positive comments about Mike. I stated that Heyday didn't write anything negative. His comments were also positive about Mike and what a good guy he was. Perhaps I just missed something and if that is the case, I do apologize. Sometimes I get a "blond" complex and have a brain fart. Bob: And my guess is he would absolutely bristle at your "birds of a feather" comment. Geezer: I only smile at Michael's gentle needling. Glad I was able to bring a smile to your face. You realizing I had no malicious intent and was only having fun brought a smile to my face. Some people love to dish things out but can't take it. You seem to be gracious in both. Kudos! And, for the last time (I hope and everyone else hopes) this will be my last comment here. (I know I said that before but I really really mean it now).
