  1. Day 1: Monday Oct 18 I started a new diet today. Well, it is not really a diet as much as a way to track my weight loss progress. I don't like typical diets and never did really well with them. What I did well with was eating a balance of protein and carbs consistently throughout the day while eating little sugar. I would say it is kind of a zone approach. I'll try to eat 5 small meals per day. I'll also try to do exercise of some sort every day. I have a program called Perfect Diet Tracker. It keeps track of my calories for me and tells me where I stand each day on my goals. I will limit myself to 2100 calories per day. If I eat more, then I need to exercise more. In other words, if I eat an extra 1,000 calories, I need to exercise that off to keep on track. I have attached my first day today. It shows what I ate and when. It also shows my exercise. I did 40 minutes plus on the elliptical and stationary bike. I did keep within my goal today. Monday Oct 19th 2010.pdf
  2. The number of first-class cabins is shrinking. A small but growing list of airlines are eliminating or reducing rows in the most expensive part of their aircraft as customers increasingly look for cheaper seats. The global slowdown has put a damper on first-class flying as fewer corporate travelers can afford $15,000 seats. Premium traffic on international flights — which includes business and first class — fell 16% in 2009, the International Air Transport Association says. While demand has improved this year, premium traffic in August was still 11% down from the pre-downturn size in early 2008, it says. Here's what's going on: • AirTran (AAI), which is being bought by Southwest Airlines, will drop first-class seating once the merger is completed next year. Southwest (LUV), which has never had first- or business-class seats on its planes, says it'll phase out AirTran's first-class service. • United Airlines has been revamping its long-haul aircraft since 2007 to reduce and improve first- and business-class seating while installing more coach seats. United's (UAL) merger with Continental Airlines has also triggered speculation that United may abandon its first class after the merger and adopt Continental's simpler approach of flying only two cabins: business and economy. United "is evaluating which configuration or configurations make the most sense based on customer demand," United spokesman Rahsaan Johnson says. "Continental has fewer 13- and 14-hour flights than United does." • Australian carrier Qantas said earlier this year that it's eliminating first-class service on most of its long-haul flights except for a few flagship routes to Los Angeles and London from Australia. • British Airways received delivery on some Boeing 777s last year that didn't have first class for the first time but says it will invest $150 million to upgrade existing premium seats. "There's been a clear trend for long-haul international flights to reduce or eliminate first-class cabins on all but the most lucrative and competitive routes," says Bryan Saltzburg of TripAdvisor. Most aircraft flying in the U.S. typically have just two cabins: economy and a premium offering labeled business or first class. Demand for first class also has remained sluggish because airlines have dramatically improved business-class service in recent years, says Matt Daimler of SeatGuru. 3. No pics yet. However, I think you and Firecat are in Kahoots. I charged my camera battery and will be taking it from now on. However, I am more shy than TomCal and have never asked a boy from the sauna to take pics. I take the ones that come to my hotel but that is about it.
  4. LOL I'll try to do better tomorrow. I see the same boy for Lunch EVERYDAY I am in Sao Paulo. When I go to the saunas, if I find someone I like, I like to see them over and over. I'll look for a new boy tomorrow to add some spice to the routine. Or, if I can get Danilo to take me to the park tonight, I might have a story for later. I love the gay park at night. But, he doesn't like me to talk to all those thuggy boys. He thinks I am fragile.
  5. LOL Sorry, for the delay. Day 3: Sao Paulo I had my regular for lunch. No, I didn't eat him. Well, perhaps I did. He is tasty. Then, a good friend, Danilo picked me up and took me and his boyfriend for ice cream. We walked around Ave. Paulista. There is a great antiques fair there every Sunday that I love and I like to see all the things I would love to buy if I ever stopped living in hotels. I went to Fragata at night and had a nice time. I did not get there till late and found one boy I like that I met yesterday. I then returned to the hotel. Day 4: Sao Paulo I went to the mall this AM shopping and had lunch there. I was bad and had McDonalds. I ate a Quarter Pounder with NO cheese. Cheese adds about 110 calories to the meal and it is just not worth it to me. I have dinner plans with Danilo tonight and we are going to eat with his family. For those that don't know Danilo, he is the ultimate tour guide in Sao Paulo. I met him many years ago when he as a young lad. He has turned into a handsome muscle boy (believe it or not guys) and very stable and reliable. He has his own car and knows how to talk to the sauna boys and knows all the hot spots in Sao Paulo. He has always been great to me when in Rio or Sao Paulo. He has a review on this site! The eye candy at the mall is amazing. IMHO this is where the models go. I almost broke my neck twisting and turning.
  6. I am going to do this with you. My goal is 100 pounds but not by the end of the year. I hope to try to loose 3 pounds per week so it will take me about 34 weeks, give or take. I started today with a program to calculate my calories and my exercise. I'll be posting that later tonight or tomorrow. So, Here we go!
  7. Poor choice of words on my part! I know you do care!
  8. As I have been in correspondence with OneFinger about this statement, I needed to clear things up on this. The above statement is not true and not based on facts. I do believe that OneFinger believed this to be true as I am sure this was told to him by the escort in question. However, this escort was the most problematic escort we ever had to deal with on this site. OneFinger's review was not read by someone who then hired him and tried to blackmail the escort. The two had a preexisting relationship and they did not meet because of a review on MER but they met at a strip club in California. I don't know how much of the blackmail scenario to believe as the escort in question is someone I would not believe or trust in any situation. If the story of the boy who cried wolf means anything. Unlike TY, I do care if someone is unhappy with the board. But, to condemn the board because of something they believed to be true without ever consulting or talking to us is not really fair to the board. I am always willing to listen to complaints and try to mend the fences. But, there is only so much I can do with limited information. When the above statement was made, I spent over 10 hours trying to find information and piece together the puzzle even though no name was mentioned. That means I read through hundreds of reviews and even more e-mails. I did that only to get at the truth behind the statement and to try to let OneFinger know that we would have acted should his information have been correct. It was not correct. The statement that was made above is not accurate. I am sorry that OneFinger feels slighted by this situation. I am sure TY's comments above don't help. My commenting about this on the public board is probably not going to help either. But, I just could not let the statement stand.

  11. I think I would loose the weight I need if I had these boys for cooks. Or, I'll like to test this theory anyway.
  12. I do! I have cheap clothes. I rarely spend money on nice restaurants. I try to budget out everything I do. But, I MUST have the newest gadgets.
  13. Interesting side-note: I was checking my Marriott account today and noticed I was up over 50,000 points. That is almost half of what I spent for the week at my hotel. I looked around and it said Mega Bonus Points. I don't even remember what I registered for but my last stays at a Marriott (last week) apparently let me hit the jackpot and I went up 50k points. As stated in the first post in this thread, be sure to register for everything out there every-time. You never know what good stuff you will get.
  14. "Love is the flower of life, and blossoms unexpectedly and without law, and must be plucked where it is found, and enjoyed for the brief hour of its duration." -D. H. Lawrence This just came to me today. I'll let you guess why.
  15. I learned that when someone doesn't want to give you the time of day (diva reasons) that it is best to follow them and let them know you are REALLY into them. Some consider this stalking. But, for me it was at a sauna and it paid off 10 fold by me getting into the bed with a real charmer! PS I learned that 60R can make me happy!
  16. I think you may be right. I booked 2 rooms and got my 20 nights. I did pay for each separately at the end of the day and told them, "make sure my number is attached." I made Platinum already for next year by doing this. The nights took 2 weeks longer to credit to my room then my actual hotel room did. FWIW When I get back to USA, I may add a few more of these to add to my points as they roll over with Marriott. Easiest way I have seen to get Platinum with them.
  17. I guess I am a dog guy too. I love little puppies. I have only had one cat for a few years and while I enjoyed it a great deal, it just wasn't the same for me. While a kitten it was very fun but the older she got, the less playful she became.
  18. I ordered this a few weeks back and have been using it. It is really a joy! I love it. It is the most comfortable shave I have ever had with an electric shaver. It is wet / dry means you can use it in the shower. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001DKMYAK/ref=oss_product
  19. But, so true! Thanks. Don't worry about me. I'll enjoy it a great deal. Day 2 Sao Paulo I ate my free breakfast in the hotel lounge. I had eggs, bacon, sausage and a muffin. The coffee in Brazil is the best anywhere. I just love it and I had 3 cups (I never have more than one anywhere). I met my friend for Lunch and we walked around the Jardins today. I found a few lovely things for my niece that I bought and we returned to the hotel for a programa. He knows he can stay with me all day and night but when I come, I am ready for him to go. He is such a great date. I would bring him to the USA with me in a heartbeat if only he spoke one word of English. After he left, I went to Fragata. I have always had great luck at this sauna. Most of the people I know that visit here only go to Lagoa and I have never really understood that. Fragata is great and the boys are very easy to chat with and very down to earth. I was there REALLY early and there were few customers. There was the absolutely adorable blond twink there that I had to be with. He walked past me and did not acknowledge my presence. (hard to do when there are only 3 customers there). So I got up and followed him and chatted. He is gay, 19 years old from South of Brazil. I went with him for a programa and Oh My. He was just as yummy as I hoped. He is a bit of a diva and thinks he is "all that and more." Well, I agree with him. He is all that and more. I had a great time and will be back to see him again. He asked for 60R and I agreed without hesitation. Afterward, he brought a few friends over to say hi and they all tried to get me to do a programma. I said no as I had already been with two. But, the insisted and I said, "Ok, how about my friend fucking each of you?" They said OK and we were off for a 4 way. Well, it was really a 3 way as I didn't much participate except to direct. I had a good time. I am not really sure why my bill was over 160R. I had 2 rooms and lots of drinks but I didn't keep up with the drinks as he had about 5 friends at one point at the table. Loverboy got paid 2 times and was thrilled and as I was leaving, so was he. I tipped him well on both occasions. His friends were happy as well. The one thing I say about Brazil is that the boys never mind a 3 way. They seem to be OK with it with anyone. Money is money to them. In Thailand, many of the boys are very shy about this. Not here. I got back to my hotel around 8 or so and didn't want to go out again so I ordered room service. I'll not add the cost of that to my budget trip as I always feel I am getting fucked when I order hotel food and they don't wait for me to orgasm. Day 2 was a success. I have another date tomorrow at lunch with the same guys as today at lunch and we are headed to the mall. http://www.termasfragata.com.br/ Rua Francisco Leitao 71 Sao Paulo, Brazil Jardim Paulista +55 (11) 8537-061
  20. This is news to me. Have I forgotten about this? Did I know about this? If you would send a PM with more information, I would appreciate it as I don't think I've ever heard of an escort being blackmailed. Sorry to see you feel that way. I thought the tone of the board and it members is generally excellent. Perhaps I need to start reading more carefully. In all honestly, I have always thought this was a very friendly environment. I really do and am surprised to hear this.
