The governor of one of the six provinces comprising metropolitan Bangkok late Tuesday afternoon imposed a curfew on all citizens to stem the spread of the coronavirus. All of Nonthaburi province, which sprawls northwest of downtown, will observe an 11pm to 5am curfew starting tomorrow under order of Gov. Suchin Chaichumsak. In his signed order, Suchin exempted cargo carriers. At one point, yes. But, in April, May or June? Worth the risk? IMHO, not in the least. It is a developing situation but I would not be making plans to travel anywhere till I see where this is in 30 days, 60 days, 90 days. My plans for the USA this summer have already been cancelled as I don't want to risk it at this point.

So, I tried the 90 day reporting via Online today for TM.47. It worked fine and I got the receipt for the approval. Firefox did not work. However, Chrome worked perfectly. Be sure to hit Print on the last page as that is what gives you the receipt that you need that says approved and the date and code. If you get bored during your self-isolation, Ozark staring Jason Bateman and Laura Linney is excellent. Each season gets better and Season three just popped on Netflix and I would not stop watching it. Great acting and great story. They really do develop these characters and it is enjoyable to watch the family struggle through so many roadblocks.

Season 3 just finished and it stared Bill Pullman and Matt Bomer. Matt was amazing and did a fantastic job. Both of them are great actors but it was so good to see Matt on screen in such a good role. He is truly talented. The season was one of the best shows on TV. If you have not watched, this, start from Season 1 and go all the way through and let Matt be the icing on the cake.

IMHO, the borders need to be closed and this requirement was the way to do it without directly stating it. A good start. As for the Thais abroad, I don't get that either and it should not happen. I have many friends in Thailand who are considering moving back to USA now but the situation there is worse. Again, just me, but everyone that can needs to stay put and wait this out. No travel for fun.

Do not plan on it for March and wait and see for April. New rules just came out making it harder to get into the country. Right now, bars are supposed to be closed. We are at Level 2 and friends in the gov't have said we are near Level 3. If that happens, everything closes. Not a good time to travel anywhere IMHO.

Great ad. Loved it. But, I do worry this may get the opposite reaction than needed. That said, it may be better to have all out find every crack and exploit it. This is great to a certain segment and as one of those liberals, I like it. But, it doesn't change my mind. I doubt it changes the mind of those that love him. I'll also predict that Donald refuses to debate Biden. No gain for him.

I don't really care about this one event. However, I do not understand why anyone in their right mind would travel or get into a gathering with people who do travel. I am not a doom and gloom kind of guy. But, I have no desire to go to a party, event, etc. in the USA or abroad right now. I have not been to a mall in 6 weeks or so and all my shopping is done online. I love movies but will not be going for the immediate future. There are precautions that we all must either take or know the risks. If others want to meet and play, that is their call as an adult. I just prefer not to be a part of it.

Some bars have started to voluntarily close. There were rumors that all bars would be forced to close as it was a recommendation by the Health Ministry. The General has not agreed to do this. Yet. However, I would suspect that it is coming. I have not been going out and letting people into my apartment. There is just too much unknown right now and I'm not willing to put myself at risk. I predict that all schools will be asked to close. I predict all bars will be asked to close. I predict all non-essential visitors will be barred entry. I also predict Trump is defeated in November so just take all of my predictions with the value of one man's opinion.

I have not been to the bars recently and will not go. I do not wish to put myself or others at risk. It would make perfect sense to close all the bars and IMHO a good move to help contain things. This is not going away and to not minimize the risks seems reckless. It is the role of government to protect. I do think more stringent measures will be placed on all entering Thailand in the coming days and more closures will be announced.
