I think you said selling themselves to survive. Well, I don't know of one guy in Bangkok who could not go back to their village and survive working on the family farm or in a local store, or whatever. They choose this as the pay is better and it gives them better opportunities. I'd love to know your definition of survival. Because, I think mine might be different but mine is only based on the few thousand guys I have known over the years.

Wait a minute. I lived in NYC and know hundreds of escorts. They did it because they were desperate. They were actors, dancers, students, etc. and they wanted a job that was less hours for big money. That was desperate for them. Many said they would have to work 80 hours a week in a regular job to come close to working a few hours as an escort and it was worth it for them. Asia: Well, guess what? Same fucking thing. People always have options and many want the big draw that escorting brings to them. I don't know of any guys that I have met who could not do something else but while they are able, they choose to work for money with sex. Last week, I saw an ex who lived with me many many years ago and was an escort. He still is. But, now he sees women. He said the older he got, the more women wanted to hire him and he went with them now. But, was happy to go with either. I asked how long he would do this (he is in his 30's) and he said until he can't get work any more.

I have to say that I really enjoyed this series from beginning to end. Perhaps, too much of my childhood dreams were a part of the enjoyment as I grew up loving everything Star Wars. But, this show was good, has a nice story and was the most streamed show ever this week. It was truly delightful.

I was excited to see this movie. I liked Driver's performance. But, I didn't particularly enjoy the movie. ;(

This is on my to do list. I have it downloaded and ready to watch.

While I do have a few stories to tell, I think I'll take them to my grave and enjoy them on my own and with friends over nice dinner conversations.

Just so you are aware, people here may complain about the number of rubies I have on my slippers or the amount of pearls I wear on an evening out. My point, is that no matter what a board owner or moderator does, they will be those that complain about what he/she/they do or don't do.

I do think there is a market for many in Asia but not at high rates. You will get a few takers but that is all it takes to make a trip successful. I saw a guy from Australia recently and he was 5,000 baht per night. I wanted to see a cute white lad so I hired him.

Looks to be an overnight rate and for a visitor. I don't know of any locals that charge that. But, traveling companions can charge what they like and see if someone bites. The rates here are about 2000 for short time and 3000 baht for overnight and that is pretty consistent in the local bars and clubs. The guys from the apps may be more or less. The guys from Moonlight more as they have good PR. But, I don't know of many locals that will be 1500 USD for an hour or an overnight.

I have seen none asking for that in Bangkok. Maybe 1500 baht? When I meet those from outside Thailand, the most they have asked is 5000 baht which is less than 200 USD. BTW: I went out to 4 bars last night and cute guys in each one. Luckyboys and Screwboys had the most of my taste. The apps were also hopping last night. Being Xmas, I like seeing all the bars having decorations and outfits to match. Gay Bangkok and Gay Thailand is amazing and should not be counted out because Soi Twilight closed. It is still VERY much alive and well!

I notice you did not answer the question. You response reminds me of all the politicians on the Sunday AM talk shows who go on and answer question after question that is never an answer to the question. I understand for sure. There is no real answer for anything Trump other than just he is shaking things up or they are all the same. In reality, he has taken the country for a spin and our allies are now further away from us than ever and we are a laughing stock around the world. We have a dummy and asshole as President and that is defiantly something I do not remember having in my lifetime with any other President. Obama was pussy and wanted to play fair with all, George was not the smartest man around but he had smart people around him, Clinton was power hungry, and I could go on. But, none of them were an asshole and cared only about themselves.

IMHO, that is like calling someone who killed someone protecting his family a murderer and on the same level as Hitler. They are not the same in any way, shape or form. If you view all politicians as unfit, who do you think should lead?
