I regard the boys tip as the cheapest part of the whole holiday. So why quibble about 500 Bt (1000 or 1500) which is what most of this discussion is about. Ignoring the outrageous requests. FFS it's only about GBP 11.50 and taking into account all the rest of the expenses it pails (pales?) into insignificance. Just pay and keep the peace.....

I had a look some time ago and it went like this Drink price. 220 Off fee 400 Room If u need one...500 Boy price ST 1500 As I say mainly for Chinese...but if you appear a newbie then you may get sucked in. Answer ...it's all negotiable. 1500 max. Off fee 400 (not negotiable). Boy Payments. If I like a boy and he is good and I want to see him again I have often paid him a bit extra. Wrong!! Problem is that you can never go down in price and you will end up paying the higher price all time. Can get costly and take the edge of it all. It also stops the " you give him more, why not me" discussions.

The more I think about this I believe I was ripped off. The chit for the boy drink didn't come on the usual small white form but on a small tear off type numbered sheet. I've decided to go in and talk to the manager tomorrow I will report further.... If I was ripped off it is even worse INHO.

Jasper, I don't know if waiter drinks are more expensive than boy drinks as I only bought a waiter a drink. The check bin did say " boy drink" though. Anyway, even if boy drinks are cheaper than a waiter drink, 450 Bt for a waiter drink is a fucking rip off. Although I saw the check bin clearly say 450 Bt I have been wondering if I was scammed somehow. You never know with BBB as they seem to make up prices for off etc as the evening goes on.

I bought a waiter a drink last night...450 fucking baht. Never again and NO TiIP either. Sod 'em. My drink still 280 Bt.

I arrived there at about 7.15 in the evening last Saturday and it was dead. Maybe I was too late.
