If you go into Toyboys they have a large card with the prices printed on it (mainly for non-english speakers). It clearly states... 400 Bt Off fee; 1500 Bt Short time; and 500 Bt for a room (short time)... probably at the Serene Hotel. So there's the precedent. Whilst the boys may accept less than 1500 Bt, this does seem to be the norm in BT nowadays.

Whats all this with Eva Air? Ive used them from the UK numerous times and, apart from their timings, they are nothing special. AND all the attendants are girls. All of them. Well I have tried everything from getting totally smashed in the terminal before I even get on, to starting on board, to taking a bottle on board form Duty free, to having nothing at all. Thats normal. I think you were too early. They have a parade outside at 9 pm then they boys start to strut their stuff on stage afterwards. Again too early. Toyboys (opposite Funny Boys) is the same, not many boys until after 10.30 or 11 pm. Lord know why. TiT

Give Baht bus drivers in Pattaya 10 baht coins ONLY (the correct fare). They will just drive away with anything else.... Count your change EVERYWHERE.

1moRussian... I suspect you were not in the Ambiance but in Serene Hotel which is connected to the back of Toyboys.

They usually have a free tuktuk waiting at the Main road during the early hours and waiting outside the sauna at later times.

Refurbished. No Gogo boys any more (well there were hardly any before). Now a beer bar with a show. Nothing special anymore, compared with the old days when it was called Throb.

Funny how this bar survives. Mostly empty. Strange it is still in business.
