At what time do you normally set out for a night on the town?
TMax replied to mauRICE's topic in Gay Thailand
I usually go for dinner about 6pm to avoid the crowds then move around a bit after that, not a big gogo or show bar person (small beer bars are more my liking) or a night owl really so back at the hotel by 10 / 10:30pm either with or without company. Most of my activities are done during the daytime, exercise and touristy stuff in the morning, massage and happy time in the afternoon. -
Thanks @jimmie50 for the report especially about Ganymede, was a rather nice description of the masseur (Ben) who sounds very nice indeed βΊοΈ

Nice report, thanks for posting and reaffirming my thoughts on Ganymede. Ganymede has always been high on my list of massage shops (along with Arena, Senso and Prince) and can't wait to get back there. @vinapu his advice is the best and works the best for me "go and see for yourself", I find it part of the adventure and discovery, sure sometimes there is disappointment but more often than not a very enjoyable experience π

First Time exploring Massage/Bar in Bangkok

I had this experience with one of the masseurs at Nine Spa and it was his idea that we connect after hours, his service in the massage shop was very good but his after hours service was exceptional π To top it off he had the perfect body and cock for my tastes π

Third floor - trip to SE Asia in Jan/Feb 2026
-
My go to place in Vietnam was Nha Trang but it has been a long time since my last visit, I will get back there one day and it will be interesting to see the changes. One of which is the nice hotel I used to stay at (directly opposite the best beach there) has been knocked down and some ugly multi story thing built in its place. Heading down to breakfast in the mornings you could look out over the bay and the water was like a millpond, it was so flat and inviting for the morning swim.

The Current General Election - Another Shinawatra On The Horizon?
TMax replied to PeterRS's topic in Gay Thailand
I was just reading yesterday that Anutin isn't ruling out a coalition with Pheu Thai, now that would be nuts and dare I say it, going by the voting numbers it's not what the Thai voters want. -
The Current General Election - Another Shinawatra On The Horizon?
TMax replied to PeterRS's topic in Gay Thailand
Looking at the numbers I have a feeling that an awful lot of Thai voters have had enough of that clan being in politics. Now comes the fun part, if Anutins party doesn't get the required numbers for an outright majority to form government on its own just who will he choose for a coalition partner? If he looks at what happend to the parties that went to bed with Pheu Thai previously he should see they can't be trusted and just in my view would turn on him real quick. Either The People's Party or Klatham are the only logical ones to choose from but anything is possible there. -
The Current General Election - Another Shinawatra On The Horizon?
TMax replied to PeterRS's topic in Gay Thailand
My view is there will be a coalition of sorts formed after the election as no single party will win a clear majority and after what happened last time, any party thinking of forming a coalition with a certain party (of a particular clan) had better watch their backs. I truly hate dynasty politics (where families want to keep power through their generations) and just wish people in the Asia region would wake up to it and vote accordingly. -
I read about this recently and the article I read also mentioned that some were stuffing clay in their underwear, people will do just about anything for a moment of glory

Only good thing about starbucks is the free wifi if and when needed during the day which is not that often, I don't mind their cheesecakes so will have some when using the wifi
-
I've been there a couple of times and it is worth a visit, a nice way to use up a couple of spare hours.

I have never had any problems with the Raya and found the hotel quite nice, I always took the breakfast option and being a light eater at that time of day always had a decent breakfast (maybe if they put the english language papers back it would be even better). It would be great if they had a small gym there but it's not a deal breaker, Lumphini Park is nearby and a good morning walk after breakfast always went down well and proved a good start to the day. Now that the green mile has reopened and Lumphini is now linked to Benjakitti Park it would make for an extended morning walk. The staff have always been great and whenever I had a visitor to the room there was never any problems at all.

Don't worry about it, the admin / moderators will most likely take care of it for you, one of the quirks of the forums software unfortunately π
