December 27, 20169 yr October 2016 Arial photo above Qatar on the way to Thailand. In Bangkok. I visited a friend that lives at the MET near downtown Bangkok I've been to Thailand so many times that I don't take many pics and this trip I tried to change that but I still didn't take many pics in Bangkok.
December 27, 20169 yr Author Onward to Phuket. I met up with a guy from Planet romeo and he drove me around Phuket to all the different beaches. I had no idea just how beautiful some of the beaches were. One beach we drove to had a very nice stainless steel gym near the road. I wonder how hot that metal gets in the hot sun?
December 27, 20169 yr Author Below is a large buddah they are building at the top of a mountain on the island of Phuket. The figure is so large that it is often hiddend by either fog or clouds. On the plane from Phuket to Chiang Mai. This is a pic of the snack they provided.
December 27, 20169 yr Author In Chiangmai, I met a different friend from Planet Romeo who drove me to see the salt-water springs. It was worth the drive.
December 27, 20169 yr Author Popular Post Selfie!!! I stayed at PJ's place. The place is just as nice as it was when I first stayed there years ago. I find it useful to take a picture of my hotel card to show to the taxi should I lose or forget it in my room. This is just a walking around picture and a cooking school I may try next trip.
December 27, 20169 yr Author Popular Post From Chiang mai, I flew to bangkok and took and Uber car to Pattaya. The driver was a cute young guy and his car was new and very nice. On the way I heard him mumble.. So far.... So far.... I arrived in Pattaya and checked into the Ambiance hotel and mad my way to walking street and the pier to take pictures.
December 27, 20169 yr Author It was the start of my night in Pattaya and I was looking for the fun to begin. I was sitting at Oscars bar when the word came of the Kings passing. Not long after that the bars went dark. Even walking street. Then everything went dark.....
December 27, 20169 yr Author Then there was the beach. I took a walk just to walk and see what I could see.
December 27, 20169 yr Author When I was walking to the beach I came to a stop when I thought I saw Neal's scooter. Then there was the food. I love the fish at BonChon so I included the pic! We don't have this on the menu in the USA so I had to snap a pic.
December 27, 20169 yr Author This was a Wednesday stroll along the beach During my time there they gutted the 7/11 at the corner. I wonder if it is open now?
December 27, 20169 yr Author Last day in Thailand so I did what anyone in their right mind would do. I went out to eat some of my favorite foods.
December 27, 20169 yr very interesting photo-story, different from our usual boy-infused narratives. I don't take any offence for you considering me stupid but on last day in Thailand which is usually long one since I fly out past midnight food is probably last thing coming to my mind.
December 27, 20169 yr Very nice pics How much did you have to pay for the Uber between Bangkok and Pattaya ?
December 27, 20169 yr Great report!!!! Pictures as part of a report really do make a difference, thanks.
December 27, 20169 yr Ha I too have stopped in my tracks before and had to take a good second look when I came up upon that very same "Neals Scooter" situation as it is parked in almost exactly the same position as where he always left his heavy duty machine. Thankfully I did see someone else driving off on it later on so no, definitely not his nor him returning to haunt and harass the lady owner of "his" beach concession ( or so he seemed to think merely as he'd sponsored the wifi there for a while). That is until the lady owner there well and truly handed him his ass in a sling one day over him being just a bit too bossy for her liking and quickly put him in his place and put him right on that score once and for all from what I remember - leading to him then throwing a tantrum, moving sections and calling her for everything for weeks thereafter I seem to recall - much to the delight of a few of her other regulars who later posted same I recall :-) Nice pics too - although ( through no fault of yours or your pics) they more sort of reminded me of just what I'm "not" missing there just now perhaps, which is kind of sad as of late to me same same ( which used to bring a smile to my face is now "actually" just more a case of absolutely same same now perhaps and not in a good way :-( But thanks for taking the time to post for us all anyway - including your very own selfie no less ! Wow, aren't we getting the brave boy who obviously doesn't give a shit who sees or knows you there or not, good for you !
December 27, 20169 yr Author Very nice pics How much did you have to pay for the Uber between Bangkok and Pattaya ? It ran me 1,310 baht. When I tried to hire a taxi from the stand, the driver refused to use the meter and demanded 1500 baht. His taxi was old and I didn't mind telling him no and having him remove my bags from the trunk. I then fired up my uber app and saw the uber was cheaper and there were many cars at the airport.

I grew tired of the sex. There is only so much that the lips and butt can take Hahaha!
December 27, 20169 yr I shocked to the 7-11 gutted. I stop off there every time I go to jomtien. I hope its returns soon.
December 27, 20169 yr thanks bucknaway for the nice photos btw the 7-11 on the corner was re-opened middle of November, so i think the photos were made earlier?
December 27, 20169 yr Author thanks bucknaway for the nice photos btw the 7-11 on the corner was re-opened middle of November, so i think the photos were made earlier? I took the pictures when I was there in October and you say the store re-opened in November? Damn those Cambodian workers work fast!
December 28, 20169 yr Great photo story. I love looking at pictures and it really does give the viewer a chance to see things from your eyes. And, it also tells a great story. I love PJ's Place. I have stayed there several times over the years and find the owners charming. How as the cooking school?
