September 18, 20188 yr Author Just an update on my tipping. Everything I said in this post is not working out the way I planned. I tip more than I planned to and it just seems natural. The guys in Phuket act extremely grateful for the slightest tip. Even in the bars, a 40 baht tip is graciously accepted as if they expected no tip at all.

Even in the bars, a 40 baht tip is graciously accepted as if they expected no tip at all. congratulations on successful ending on renovations of Bank of Bucknaway as you said in OP. 1000 baht is 25 40 baht tips - a lot of smiles can be created for just 30 USD.
