Boys on Dongtan Gay Beach some years ago. A common sight then

  • I'm pretty sure that then there were guys who were complaining how good it was in 1985. I'm not trying to be sarcastic but nostalgia for good  times past seems to be recurring  theme on gay forum

  • I wish I can agree with you but I don't. Years ago Pattaya have had 4 gay complexes Day Night coplex vanished,Sunee Plaza is bleeding( I doubt it can survive if the business will not improve soon),Boy

I experienced that in January. It was , apparently, a birthday  party. I was in Ambiance and so was able to look down from the balcony at about 0300; the performance was for four people. Falangs, as far as I could see.

A number of options there, both gay and and gay-friendly. Agate is our choice. Spick-and- span, some cute staff, quiet (ask for a room on the swimming pools side)  prices at about 1600 pn. Book direct rather than through Agoda etc.

We've stayed at many Thai hotels; my boyfriend reckons this to be his favourite, even if we've stayed at places a lot more expensive. Rooms  a bit small but each has a nice balcony .

1:30 AM first night at home in LCR. Barely noticed light bass thumping on third floor room but I am a very cheap drunk and slept very well considering

Busy “shopping” all night though. And the two nights preceding in BKK were alone also. Did have a very “Nice Boy” visit last night for a bit.

Update: As much as I had loved LCR in the past the noise until 3:00 am was unbearable. Had my credit card worked I would have tried Copa next door. Paid taxi to airport (1400)only to

be held up at airport - taxi driver wanted another 600bT. Finally got hope to cook some microwave meatloaf :)

Lady taxi driver a thief...

I miss Nai (LCR). He was saying he bought a lady bar by walking street but I walked the whole area

and didn't see him. Probably a side street east of walking street but it was very hot out walking.

Possibly the receptionist gets commission from the driver

I was on 3rd floor and it was detectable to say the least. Room 304 superior room?

The blue colored black light/ceiling lights get annoying after a week-I thought I was getting a tan though!

have the hotel arrange a taxi for you :)  (their gmail account isn't working)

LCR responded to the taxi issue of overcharging.

They will refund the extra 600 bT to me .

Unbelievable!

Refund is an unknown word in Thailand. I wait for your conformation it has arrived!

Could be difficult since I never scanned my credit card there.

It is unimportant - the thought is sweet. Just correct the procedure so it doesn't happen to the next taxi  customer.

They could credit the cute skinny daytime manager with a tip or even the nice heavier hotel maid with a tip

as far as I am concerned.
