Hello again...after my November trip to Rio (which is the fourth and last for this year) I can tell you my opinion about the best and worst days to go to saunas in Rio.

MM is not included in the following table due to the lack of personal experience since the few times i've been there, i really didn't like the place.

As you can see I've found a better selection of guys on Saturdays on 202, in the last times since Pointe has recovered from its crisis.

To prepare the table i've only taken in consideration the variety of garotos present each day (sauna facilities and special days are not taken into account even if reported for convenience). The table is inevitably affected by my personal tastes. I do not like next-door type guys.

While 117 is always pretty consistent (apart from wednesdays), incredibly I have made some of the best discoveries in Rio in 202 during saturdays (117 is still good). And while there's no bad day at 202 apart from Thursday, I can tell you that even if good, Fridays and Sundays are way better at 117.

Pnt 202 is open Tues. This can be determined by: attending (I have and do), google (it indicates open today terca 5th), or FB where marquees and post-show images confirm it.

I can tell you that until last Wednesday, there was a paper inside the locker room stating that the sauna was open all the days until 24h except on tuesdays (closed). That's why I have never considered the idea of going on Tuesday (I would not go in any case).

I don't know if this has changed. From the FB page I can see that probably the Tuesdays have been resumed the 14th of November.

I do not have information about the quality of that day, which is in direct competition with the best day of the week at 117.

For those that are visiting and are here this weekend, there's an event this Saturday (December 9th) at Pointe 202 for Junior's Birthday. There were flyers all over the place when I visited yesterday.

I suspect the rivalry among the sauna clubs may not be as great as some of us might think, or perhaps it is healthy competition. The rivalry related to determining, and vying for, the most superior set of objective criteria about when and what is best seems to be a potentially fiercer and contentious one, about which I don't see much point.
