garotAs ?

Featured Replies

Hi Guys,

A straight friend - shocked to hear from me about the garotos scene - wants to join me on my July trip to Brazil.
Are there any saunas with garotAs for our unfortunate straight brethrens?
Any guidance would be appreciated.

Thx

I’m in the same situation 12is12!   I took my buddy to Thailand a decade ago and it was nirvana for him!   His first time leaving the country and needless to say he returned many times after and eventually bought a girlie bar in Phuket.        Now I’m trying to get him to come to Rio with me.   I’m betting if the boy scene is so large down there that the girl scene must be through the roof.

there are many more straight saunas then there are gay ones although 2 in Rio closed down recently and one of those became the new gay sauna near Santos Dumont Airport! Straight saunas are nicer from a aesthetic sense then gay ones! there used to be one around the corner from the infamous Corujinhas restaurant and when navy ships would be in port you would see a line of guys out the door!

There are tons of places where a straight guy can get laid....Take him to Villa Mimosa...that will be an experience he wont ever forget...

When you are in Brazil in July, it is the height of winter there...just FYI

Also, July is the month that schools are out in Brazil and Brazilians take vacations.  usually the slowest month at the saunas as many of the guys are with their familites

Believe it or not, I know many of the sauna guys go to the girl saunas and pay for sex.

The old owner of Corujinhas use to tell me if you think the gay saunas make money, you need to see a female sauna, there are lots more of them and make about 10 times more. Straight guys are less frugal than gays, I know this from listening to stories of straight friends that go to Rio and I hear what they spend ....and that's when I think how lucky I am to be gay, lol

Not only that, but also gay men — for some reason — on average tend to be much more psychologically invested than straight men in the belief that they can attract a much better looking or much better physically built guy without having to pay for it. It might be because straight men are raised to believe that a man pays for the woman when he is interested (drinks, dinner dates, expensive engagement ring, gifts, trips, etc), whereas that dynamic for gay men as members of the same gender is only determined by who one is attracted to (or who is the more desirable or attractive). Some gay men I have encountered believe that paying for sex, dates or companionship is only for those who cannot get those things on their own, and so they won’t do it because to them, that would mean acknowledging defeat. But most straight men aren’t caught up in that dynamic, so to them, going to bordellos and paying for sex is just an easier way to meet some hot lounge lizard at a bar, pay for her drinks and dinner, and pretend not to be bored with her conversation so that he can get some new pussy.

Agree.   For me I like the fantasy of hiring a guy.  It feels taboo in a world where not much else is anymore.  I also have a deep appreciation for guys who are exhibitionists, which most sauna, stripper, escort guys seem to be.

Of course I assumed there'd be tons of garotas saunas,

but I was hoping some of you might be in a position to recommend specific places.....

Are there any forums, like this one, where customers discuss and give tips?

Centaurus in Ipanema is the most famous one. It’s also the one that Justin Bieber got busted coming out of when he was 19.
