I have kept waking up night and rewatching this.

Genius.

I discovered it a year or so ago and also particularly like him singing Miserere Mei, Deus with an ensemble of adults (YouTube). Age 17 in 2 months, now baritone.

The nonchalant genius in this is, on reflection, both beautiful and hilarious. The conductor, also and primarily a horn instrument player, spends about 1/4 of his time emptying spit out of the mouth bowl of his horn. 

Meanwhile they all follow the kid singer as the real ‘conductor.’
