June 20, 20206 yr Active Members Trump has completely lost interest in Covid-19 No good headlines for him, so he has ignored the pandemic altogether. His attitude—and his stubborn refusal to wear a mask—signals that the danger is past. He has made clear that the stock market means more to him than death rates, so no more attention to the daily death toll. As he resumes his mass rallies, with MAGA fans packed together, he won’t wear a mask, and neither will they. Those of us who live in hard-hit New York will watch with interest as Trump encourages his followers to ignore all precautions while he will be at least 50-100 feet from his adoring, unmasked fans.

June 20, 20206 yr Active Members I audited history, politcal science and especially literature courses at the University of Pennsylvania while I worked and after retirement. The last audit was four years ago. My experience with young people was very positive. Because I did all the reading, I know/knew several students very well.

June 21, 20206 yr Active Members Of course the rich became richer. Actually some rich people did, specially if their business is related to the virtual economy. Others are losing a lot of money. But the increase in bank deposits does not prove that, at least you think only rich people have bank accounts. It is happening everywhere, middle class savings are going up with the pandemic. I am not rich, but as I am not expending any money I am saving much more than I used to.

I am also not spending much money during COVID-19. I am sending money to the Wolf Project at Yellowstone National Park. And Philippines Charity. My brother lives near the Eastern entrance to Yellowstone & has written expensively about wolves and grizzlies.

July 2, 20206 yr Active Members Donald Trump says he looks good in a mask just after Doctor Anthony Fouci warns about the pandemic getting much worse Senator Rand Paul criticized Fouci again. This time for not providing good news. Of course, Rand Paul, like Liberty University's Jerry Falwell, Junior, wants to open up schools now (or July 6, 2020). No wonder the European Union countries have barred United States residents from entering.
