I have a trip to Sao Paulo and Rio coming up. I'm a keen photographer and I'd like to know if anyone has any idea where I can get a model for erotic photos?

There doesn't seem to be any agencies etc?

You could try reaching out to online garotos and offering them a free shoot to add to their profiles. Just a thought

I find that comment odd. There are various model agencies in Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo. You would of course have to explain what you want and pay their full fees.

If you want to find someone ‘on the cheap’ then the suggestion above is good as would be searching through Instagram for willing guys.

Asking anyone to take photos in exchange for a “free shoot” is one of the shittiest tricks used by the lower rungs and dirtbag predators masquerading as legitimate photographers. 

if anyone was serious about that question - my real answer would be go to to Lagoa.

there several traditional model types there (April) & it would be easy to hire if legit & paid.  

If it’s a scam - well, they’ve seen it all

Thanks for the perspective - I’m far from a photographer myself so this isn’t something I’ve ever considered before or have any ambitions to. My thought was assuming the OP would indeed be providing a true value to the GP but I can see how that often wouldn’t be the case.

And what with the glass-enclosed shower zone in Lagoa’s main bar for keen voyeurs &c.

Whaaa? You see that scenario in porn all the time. How can it be sleazy? LOL

I don't want a free shoot; I think I was wanting to pay like 500 - 550 real to the model(s.) That is about 100$ so seems fair, I think - first time in Brazil so not sure what the average modelling rate would be.

The agencies that do exist in SP and Rio tend to be aimed for the fashion industry. I'm a hobbyist, not photographing for Balenciaga, so I doubt they would be interested.
