Maybe Pattaya will be busier this winter??

Featured Replies

The beaches are not great, but pools are nice for swimming. Excercise can be a drag, but swimming isn’t so bad, just hate the initial cold .

Many days in December and early January can be too cold for swimming in Pattaya. I’ve noticed different hotels or condos have warmer or cooler water. For instance, Arcadia Beach condo is very warm as it’s in direct sunlight most of the day They have five pools. Yensabai isn’t bad either if you can avoid the old French men gossiping in the pool all day.  My condo, Unixx is average to cold, only short time in the sun.

The more the merrier, GP.

My first trip to Pattaya was a few weeks after I'd been staying on Grande Anse Beach in Grenada. I remember looking out of my window at Royal Garden and  saying, "Oh my God."

There were of course some compensations.  In fact, so many that I've never returned to the Caribbean.

Although some of the beaches at the nearby island Kho Larn can be considered "stunning "
