Egypt travel questions.

Hi, fellow gay travellers.
I enjoyed your report and personal experiences there in Egypt. I was definitely hard when reading the stories and shares. There are a few questions I would like to ask.

It seems that if you travel alone as a guy, just by walking alone is enough to trigger being approached by some desperate Arab men to give you some hint for extra fun and money. This seems too hot to be true. Is that really the case?  If they don't give any hint, is it safe to ask them first by "Are you married?" to initiate some fun?

In one thread, I read about desert tours with overnight camping. You "are guaranteed to have fun with staff". I am so excited to start this tour and want to know where to book this kind of tour.

As for the hotel fun, I have never seen a hotel staff open the door and start cleaning while you were in the room. Is it an arab thing that the hotel cleaning staff cleans the room during the day while you are still in the room? Again, is it ok just give them a gaze, and the fun may initiate? It is so hot to replicate the porn scene that you start hooking up in the hotel with the staff.

Thanks.

It can be hard to read the signals, lol

When I was checking in to a hotel in Dubai recently, the porter, after bringing me to the room and showing me the AC etc, then suggested that we exchange Whatsapp details.

On seeing me look at him in confusion, he said that it was so I could send him a Whatsapp message down in the lobby if I needed him to bring me something...

Despite being to Pattaya five times, it was only after giving him a polite refusal and ushering him out, that I realised that he was probably about try and hook me up with either a lady of the night, or himself!

As it was a very straight hotel, and he was in Indian guy who gave off very straight vibes, i suspect it was the former.

I was sorry after I hadn't said yes, just to see what I would get offered...

I think you were very prudent by not exchanging Whatsapp  details with somebody you just met. Dubai is not Pattaya and you could easily land yourself into some misunderstanding if not outright trouble.

It's  another thing if you subsequently met guy on corridors and exchanges winks and smiles , then I'd try but not at first contact.

Friend of mine very recently in Saigon went through similar proposal of contact exchange with somebody claiming to remember him from airport, which subsequently led him to illegal gambling den. Fortunately he regained his senses in time and escaped after they insisted he drinks some water or drink  they treated him with.

Ha, ha... I always leave the room right away if a hotel employee wants to come in as it's usually a woman and imagine being a 100 percent gay guy accused of attacking a maid. If it's a hot guy, I wouldn't be so quick. I have fantasies about room service waiters, but have never had a hot one show up at the door.

I have lived in Egypt for three years. Am I overreacting when I claim that I easily met willing men every single day of my life there? They are everywhere. These encounters just happen.

In case you really want to 'hunt for men', consider using applications, look people straight into the eyes constantly, go for massages (Sultan Hammam on two locations - Mirage Mall and Maadi), order food and tip the delivery guys at your door, take taxis (InDrive has pictures) and ask about the drivers' marriages, go to the touristy places, ...

It honestly seems impossible not to meet any. Men are up for fun.

When back some weeks ago for only a week, the taxi driver from the airport to Maadi (where I was staying) starting touching his hard penis so impulsively when chatting with me. I didn't have the energy after a long fight (with lay over) to invite him straight away into my AirBnB, but it would have been the first encounter of many.

Enjoy!

It's not a case of meeting men. It's more a case of meeting the right men, that can meet my needs. Sure, if you are satisfied by sucking off a guy, life is quite easy. As a top, I am more demanding so I am sure you can understand that my options are far more limited. And that is true just about everywhere, not just Egypt.

In most of the world, everyone is a bottom, especially all the vers guys, lol

As a bottom, is so difficult to find a good top on the apps... gay for pay in latin America isn't soo hard, but still, bottoms outnumber tops by a lot in the gay world.

You can really find hot adventures just walking the streets late at night, going into souvenir shops and using taxis that are parked on the streets (not from apps!). Preferably with the look of an inquisitive and slightly naive tourist. When they ask if you are married, just answer that you prefer men. And if they are interested - then everything will be easy.

If you go to Hurghada, then the main places are Mamsha, Sheraton and El Dahar. In Luxor and Aswan - the embankments closer to night. In Cairo, it is better to look at the pyramids and leave.

On my first trip the guy was always cleaning at about the same time even if I was in the room. I just sat on the balcony smoking while he cleaned. The second time I was in a nearby hotel and they never came in if I was in the room.
