It cannot open fully. Main purpose is to let light into the room

The bathroom window is frosted. Is the bedroom window - your reply to keithambrose suggests that there is another window -- also frosted?

Very much like a modern 3- star Japanese hotel.

There is only one window and that's the bathroom window.

I tried out the hotel for 2 nights during weekend stay and I like it!

But for longer stays, I won't stay there because there's no swimming pool.
