I have no idea, but if to trust to Western media - maybe, since August 2024. But Ukraine still shows no proof - no one Korean got to captivity.

The only way for Ukraine to quickly fix everything is to appoint a high-ranking official as a special representative and give him the authority to negotiate. Moreover, the representative must be approved by the Verkhovna Rada (parliament), not Zelensky - only then will such a representative become 100% legitimate.

By the way, for the information of the participants of the conversation: Ukraine was able to give at least some resistance in 2022 and stop Russian tank columns in some places only because in 2020 Trump signed a decree and sent Javelins to Ukraine.

If zelinski wanted to do the deal now it's too late. That deal is done. The next deal that will be offered may not be as favorable to Ukraine if zelensky is the negotiator.

 

Also keep in mind that zelinski did not have to come to the USA to sign that deal. He wanted to come to the USA for his own reasons.  I don't think it was to simply sign the deal I think he came here to leverage his popularity for greater support from the American people. But things didn't work out as he hoped.
