The beds are the most comfortable I've ever slept in in a hotel, and the eggs Benedict are incredibly delicious - and I don't even like eggs! 

I can't recommend it highly enough.

I stayed past week.  It's excellent.  5 star guesthouse and with the spa and massage boys there's plenty of fun to be had.

Since when is the changing room at A&P at the 2nd floor? I stayed there few times, but years ago. 2nd floor was only guestrooms. Changing room for sauna (visitors) was on ground floor. Did they do some renovations / changes?

I recall staying there but moved next door ,it was cheaper 

Do they still have that spiral staircase ?

Next door place is called Rambutan.

Spiral staircase is still at A & P

Never stay in either but had a dinner at Rambutan and massage at A&P and both experiences were NOT memorable but as they say " one statistic sample isn't basis to formulate hypothesis"

When I was staying at A&P a number of years ago, the staff offered massages but it was made clear that there would be no funny business.That appears to have changed.

I have stayed at Rambutan and it was pleasant. I also had two massages at A&P, which ranks among the best I have had in both Cambodia and Thailand, including one session of a four hand massage.

Your mileage may vary and everything is subjective.

When I was staying at A&P, I set up a routine from which I never strayed.

A tuk-tuk driver would be waiting for me every evening at 6pm outside the door. He would take me over to Hatha Khmer massage, where my favourite guy would be waiting for me at the counter bar in the garden. I named him Mr Bubblebutt.

We would spend around 15 minutes at the bar. The talk was always the same - him trying to persuade my to buy him a scooter, and me fending of his requests.

We then went into the room, where I fucked him and he fucked me. I thought I had died and gone to heaven!

At 7pm my tuk-tuk driver would turn up to take me to the river area, where I'd have dinner, and then walk over to Space Bar to spend the rest of the evening drinking and playing a groping game with Virat, my favourite waiter. He would greet me as soon as I walked in, organise our drinks and get down to business. He had quite a package down there -a real handful!

I ran into him when I was last in phnom penh a couple of years ago. He came into the bar when I was sitting there and we immediately recognised each other. Unfortunately, he couldn't stay, as he was running a food cart and he had just come in looking for orders.. But we had a drink together and a great chat.

Space Bar is the only reason for me to visit PP. Even though the atmosphere in the bar is now different - not so raunchy - it is still lots of fun.
